What is your favorite color to paint a wall?
Option E won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 29 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
E | 58% 29 votes |
A | 18% 9 votes |
B | 14% 7 votes |
C | 6% 3 votes |
D | 4% 2 votes |

These are the colors I like the most
blue rocks!
Not sure what this has to do with beer drinking, but if its for a bar or brewery, keep it cool but a little bold
I like to paint with mild colors as they make me feel better.
I love a light blue wall. Like cornflower or not quiet baby blue. I also love a sage green wall. Those colors are very soothing and relaxing. They help keep me happy.
I like blue walls for areas like bedrooms and living rooms, because it is a calming and soothing color. I like yellow for a kitchen or dining room because it is happy and sunny. Gray would be good for any sort of room, especially a soft pale gray.
some of my favorite colors and i've used them already
Blue is best.
They are the most calming colors to me. Depending on what room the wall is in would effect my choice as well though.

I like red, yellow, and blue the most out of the colors.
Red is my favorite color and I think a red wall adds a lot of sophistication to a room if it's the right shade and not over-done.
Like omggggggggggg red is best
I like warm colors
I chose more towards what I really could stand as far as well color , as red and yellow are not my favorites. The grey and blue are something I would far more likely gravitate to in a color scheme.
I like the idea of red and purple. They are bright colors and light up a room.
Red is a very exciting, regal color and it looks great in many places especially because it's used so rarely. It makes things feel more expensive and high-class, fancy. A Blue is very calming and serene but it also makes things feel more high class and it's fun and interesting to look at. C Yellow is so rarely used but it's really bright and happy, it's hard to be sad in a yellow room.

A would prefer a variable shade of yellow as my first choice. As I would want a soft and easy on they eye color. The brighter colors as red and blue can be in separate rooms. Yellow is one of the best for inside the home. Option C is the best!
I chose yellow as my first choice because I feel like yellow is making a comeback and I love it! I would especially like to paint my children's room a light yellow. Grey was my second choice because it is wonderful for common areas in the house. Blue also is a wonderful choice for any room in the house. Blue is a soothing color.
I like neutral colors on my walls, and chose yellow because it makes me most cheerful to look at it.

I like purple first then grey and then blue I liek them all together best thoguh love those colors all equally
I love purple and the right shade could really make a room pop. Grey is my next favorite because ANYTHING and EVERYTHING matches. Blue is a standard color.

I find these colors the most peaceful and soothing.
Grey is a good neutral color. Blue and yellow are good for kids rooms
my walls are gray and red, i like those colors
THese are the 3 bedrooms I have in my house.
I like the neutrality of grey, but I would also like to set a certain kind of mood with blue, and I never have used purple but it sounds amazing
I found these colors most alluring.
I think that Grey is calm and relaxing. You can use a lot of different colors to accent the room. Blue is also calming and can look nice. I think purple depending on the shade gives a nice effect to a room.
I chose grey first because it is a neutral color and you can use other colors in your decorations or furniture to accent. It goes with everything, looks clean and classy, and doesn't show dirt. Blue is my next choice, if it is a lighter blue, as it can be soothing. It can look very classy with the right accents, and it can make a room look cheerful if it is light. I chose purple next because it looks royal and lush, it conveys wealth. I think this could be good for an accent wall, but likely not a whole room.
Grey - is a very neutral and calming color that can be color-coordinated with many different colors. Blue - depending on the shade can also be calming but also brings a sense of cleanliness - like blue skys and linen. Yellow - brightens up any room.
I prefer lighter colors
Red seems like a bit of a scarry color to paint a wall. I was imagining painting the inside of my house. White and lighter colors would obviously be my first choice. Eventhough blue is dark and hard to paint over, I like that color.
prefer normal, mild colors
I like more dull colors, most of the other options are too bright
Grey is a nice, neutral color. Red can make a room feel warm and inviting. The right shade of blue can either make a room feel light and airy or cool and relaxed.
Gray is the hot color right now and goes with all the decor. I also like to paint pale yellow walls.
I chose E because Grey can go with any other color in regards to furniture and decorations. I actually prefer this neutral color so I can add other colors to the room to make it enjoyable. I chose A next because I like a deep blue, and it would be easy to accent with a yellow or another color to brighten it up if needed. I chose D last because I love purple for a little girls bedroom. It is feminine and I think any girl would like the color
This choice depends on the actual room. Grey is a neutral color, good for any room. Yellow and purple are good options. Blue is too cold and red is too aggressive.
I like more neutral colors
If I was going to paint a wall it would be off white. But with the choices I would go with grey. I want a wall that is subtle in color and not one that stands out.
For walls, i prefer neutral colors. They match better with more different styles and what not.
I love grey walls and then yellow ones.
Gray is my favorite to paint a wall because you can easily change the decor of any room and not worry about having to repaint. It will complement any color or any design scheme, and will accent perfectly. You can add greens or blues and yellows and not worry about the color being overpowering. Blue is also a color where you can have a wide variety of choices of decor and it will go with almost anything. Yellow is very complementary and you can add it many accent tones of dark or light colors to go with it.
I don't like bright in your face colors. I like the toned down and calmer colors.
I'd much rather have very natural colors instead of vibrant yellows and reds.
There is a missing choice of white, because that is what I have painted a lot! I have to go with grey, option E being my first choice, because we were just evacuated to my aunt's house in Sandy Springs, GA and they are remodeling and every single wall in her house is getting re-painted a shade of grey because that is the trendy thing to do right now. The room I am sitting in right now has grey walls. My next color choice would be blue, but not turquoise or aqua. I have blue walls in my living room and they are a bluish-grey color and I would love to repaint to grey. My third choice out of these options would be yellow, option C. Not a bright yellow or a dark yellow, but a really light yellow. I painted my middle daughter's room a pale yellow when she was a baby. It is a happy color, but one that gets old fast. Red and Purple have never ever been an option in my book. yuck. It takes the right stuff in a room to pull off red and purple and that is not me or my family at all. Red makes you anxious and nervous and mad, and I would think purple does the same thing to a certain degree. so those are my choices, Grey, BLue and a light yellow..nothing crazy and bright.
I was a painter for a few years, and Grey was always my choice and recommendation. Nice and neutral but not as lifeless as white. Blue and purple were my next choice for the fact that they are fairly calming colors in comparison to yellow and especially red. Yellow is good for some to brighten things up, but I would NEVER paint one of my personal rooms yellow.
I have most of my house painted gray! I love gray because it's neutral, looks subdued and classy and will go with so many other colors. Black, white, red, blue and many other colors go with gray and look great. I also love blue and purple.
My favorite color to paint a wall, personally, from the choices given is grey, which is option E. I like it the most because it's kind of a neutral color that will match almost anything. My second choice was option B, red. I really like red and actually have a room in my home that I painted red because it looks really interesting with the black furniture in that particular room; it's a bold color and looks great if you know how to pair it with other things in the room. My third choice was option A, blue. Blue is a nice color and there are so many different variations of it that it can also be paired nicely with certain furniture colors, and blue gives a light hearted feel to the room it's been used in.
I prefer the grey first because I like that it's neutral and in my opinion it doesn't overpower the room, like a red or purple. I like blue next because it is a calming, cool color. Between the remaining 3 options I like yellow the most, it's bright and happy, whereas purple and red are more aggressive colors.
