Im pretty sure your supposed to fill up the bath tub full of hot water and adding it in. That way the vapors clears up your nose and throat.

Epsom salts, infused with menthol or mint. Used in the bathtub to reduce aches and pains and clear sinuses (e.g., if you have allergies or a cold). My grandparents used Epsom salts their whole lives and swore by their use. I use them occasionally as well. No idea what arnica is.
