I think a secure bottom so it doesn't move too much if the dryer moves a lot would be helpful.
It would have do be durable, easy to access, affordable and be available in different colors.
I like the look of this shelf, however there would need to be a port so that the lint trap could be emptied as it is on the top. In fact, all of my controls are on the top and the washer is a top load so this would not work at all.
A little compartment on one of the back corners that would allow me store laundry pods and dyer sheets in it.
I like the grain of the wood and how well it fits the washer/dryer. A shelf along the back might make it more interesting and functional.
The flat surface is very nice on this countertop, as it allows for folding clothes without any impediments, but I would still like to see some way to set up dividers or compartments for organization. I imagine that most people would already have a small shelf above their washer and dryer for holding detergent bottles, but it could be useful to have vertical slots in the rear panel of this countertop, so that dividers could be easily slotted into place and removed when they are not needed. A small mesh basket that serves as a raised platform could also be offered as an optional accessory, in case someone wanted to store bottles, brushes, etc. on top of the machines, but not directly on top of the smooth countertop (where they could cause stains or even soil clothes that are being folded).
Some kind of storage containers might work. Like a wood container for dryer sheets.
OK so my washer and drier have the controls on the back side of the top, and the lint tray also slides off from the back of the top. If you could make a countertop that accommodates that sort of dryer and washer I would be more likely to consider it. Great concept!
I would want the countertop to be adjustable and maybe able to expand the sizes of the tops to fit what I might need at the time. Storage bins or compartments would be useful for sorting clothes and storing them. I believe a charging port would be nice if you want to charge your, tablet or a place to plug in your iron/steamer for you clothes.
I think I'd like some kind of led lighting option to the top of the unit for easier low-light folding.
This would be so handy. A shelf that sits on top of it would be so helpful for extra storage. If it had hook on it or a way to hand up shirts on the side, it would be very useful.
Something to make sure it stayed securely on the washer and drier would be the most obvious add-on for me.
I like that the back edge of this is higher, because that's helpful, but I think for me I would want a shelf a bit higher up so I could put folded clothes on it or soap.
some sort of hanging rack over it where hangable clothes, or AT LEAST hangers can be hung and stored
I would want it to be easy to clean, and smooth surface so my clothes don’t get ripped
I think keeping it as simple as possible for more space for folding.
I would like a layered rack to temporarily fold and store the clean, dry laundry on. Also, a side attachment that could hold the laundry detergent and dryer sheets would be nice. My large jug of detergent often falls off my machines and it would be nice to have a secure spot for it.
This is a great idea and very useful I usually end up taking laundry to the living room to fold this would be great I would totally buy this
I would want a product that had a collapsible rod to hang items when needed, but collapsed when not in use. I would also want a basket on the side to store wash soaps and other items.
I'd want some sort of container to hold detergent pods, which I use, as well as a dryer sheet dispenser similar to a kleenex dispenser. These should be placed to the rear of the surface, in order to leave enough room to fold laundry.
This is a good idea. I would like it to have shelving on the back part so I can store my detergent. But still have room to fold.
I think it would be great if it came with added shelving above or added compartment areas to store things
First, I really like it. It looks high quality and durable; it's also attractive. One thought that occurs to me is adding some kind of rack, perhaps with multiple rows [think of the mid-part of a ladder], and the whole thing can be folded, or dropped over the edge, when not needed. It would let you hang small items , e.g., socks, while waiting to find their match. It could also be used to air-dry those items that discourage putting in the dryer.
Add a detachable part so that one can hang clothes on a bar - right as they come out of the dryer. And maybe a shirt folding system (done by hand with a tool to help).
a plastic organizer to put your laundry soap liquid or pods and different sizes bins to organize your laundry.
I think separated compartments off to the side would be helpful
I would add a dedicated slot to hold a clothes iron.
I would want a basket on the side to put my clothes in when they come out of the dryer and the top of that counter would be for the folded clothes
I think it is a cool idea but I would want some sort of drying rack or other storage built in
I love this idea, and I really like the color and design of this one. I like that it has sides and a back so things don't fall off. If anything the back could be just a little bit higher! As far as extras - I don't think it really needs anything else honestly, but you could always add little caddies for holding dryer sheets, lost buttons and change, things like that.
