A newly discovered comet streaks towards Earth. Are we doomed? Did science fail us? Again.
Days later, fears turns to expectations when astronomers announce it’s bypassing us—on the winter solstice.
It’s an almighty sign! People say. Like the star two-thousand years ago. Others claim it’s space junk.
Not Darwin Lacroix, the pope’s special director of archaeology. He’s seen the celestial body etched on a copper tablet in the Vatican’s clandestine archive. Strange text and a map suggest a coming revelation.
Only one problem, it’s druidic—a pagan threat.
So, the church buried it.
Darwin deciphers the esoteric language which says, the map’s cardinal direction is revealed precisely on winter soltice midnight but only when standing on a sacred spot. But he’s missing tablets.
Armand Leduc, a corrupt real estate mogul, has them. Collected by the Aedui Society—18th-century antiquarians—they suggest a Celtic horde and ancient druidic power. Leduc craves both and is hellbent on getting them first.
Worse, his greed is fueled by a ruthless ally—Darwin’s old nemesis, with a score to settle.
With the stars aligning, Darwin must navigate a web of celestial clues, ancient rituals, and dangerous rivals to uncover the comet’s true legacy before Leduc unleashes a secret that could rewrite history itself.

He cracks the esoteric script to learn the comet’s secret will only be revealed at a specific location and, second—someone stole those tablets.
Armand Leduc, has them. The corrupt real estate mogul pilfered objects from the Aedui Society—18th-century antiquarians—who sought Celtic hordes promising gold and unlimited druidic power. Leduc will stop at nothing to get them.
Worse, his greed is fueled by Darwin’s ruthless nemesis, who has a score to settle.
With the stars aligning, Darwin must race to unravel celestial clues, ancient rituals, and deadly rivalries to uncover the comet’s true legacy—before Leduc unleashes a secret that could rewrite history itself.
