Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 27 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
C | 40% 20 votes | 54% 27 votes +7 |
A | 42% 21 votes | 46% 23 votes +2 |
B | 18% 9 votes | Eliminated 9 votes reassigned |

I think I'd rather find places that played the sort of music I like.
Interesting options, but A is my top choice because I think that based on musical atmosphere would be most helpful to me.
I don't like bars, generally, but if I'm going to go I want to have some say in what is played and avoid places where I don't typically like the music. However, there have been times that I have been to a place that played music that I didn't know and the ability to add that music for later listening is ideal
I think it is best in this order. Better to know what music a bar plays before you get there.
A is pre-emptively most useful if you are embarking on a night out, to find a cool place where you may have things in common with others. C is a very close second: It's strength isn't just finding out the song, but serves as a conversation starter and allows for continued communication with people you are with or that you meet! Finally, B is an interesting idea, like a jukebox, but frankly doesn't sound like a lot of fun.
I feel like it comes off as just the right amount of descriptive
I chose A first because if i want to go to a pub, i want to know what music atmosphere is before i even go, i don't want to ruin my mood. Option C was next because if i like a song, i would like to snatch it and keep it, and option B last because who wouldn't want to go to a place where they can control the flow of music?
I prefer deciding where to go based on music or changing it myself
there are so many times where me and my friends are trying to pick a bar based off of whether or not they play good music so this would be super helpful.
Much more desirable and authentic feeling for me.
It would be fun to see what is played at a particular place before you go.
All are good but the ones that I picked are good because they are more specific and better
I think knowing the musical atmosphere of a bar is important and this would be an interesting feature without being too specific about the specific songs which doesn't matter as much to me.
These appeal to me more.
I would love to be able to search a place I was unfamilar and know the music setting of the place before I go to sit through an hour long meal so I find choice a to be the most helpful. choice b would give me the power to chose the music but also everyone else so I am not sure how much play time I would end up with.
I like option A. I think many people go to a particular bar just because of the music and atmosphere.
I'd prefer to go to a place that has the musical atmosphere that appeals to me. And while I'm there, choice C would be a nice second-app to have (in case a great song comes on, but I don't know the title or artist). Option B seems unfeasible with so many patrons all vying to play the music that they like.
I like A the best because that way, people can choose which establishment would suit their personal preferences best.
Atmosphere is important, so that would be a great piece of information. B is kind of a cool mobile jukebox idea C is neat, but I'm pretty sure stuff like that has already existed for years.
because the explanations of the app sound better for A and B compared to C
I think it would be great to know the type of music being played in a bar/ pub before you plan to go out in the evening rather than to go and find yourself in a place where you do not like the atmosphere. Option C is the one I like the less because I do not think I am the one that should decide what gets played in a particular pub/bar.

I think having basically a jukebox app (as described in Choice B) is really appealing and would be fun while out at the bar. Also, if you don't want to select the song and you just hear something you like and want to know what it is, Choice C sounds great. Choice A doesn't seem that valuable.
I would love an app that allowed me to choose which songs came on next in the places I am in. That would boost my engagement with the brand and make me enjoy my time there.
I think it would be cool to be able to pick what you wanted to hear at the bar. the option too find bars with your musical that day is a good idea.
I like the idea of a remote controlled jukebox!
I like the choices in that order
I liked the first two options best, B and C
The premise of the top two apps is clear and concise. It's understandable at a glance the purpose of the apps here and the last one I selected is a bit too convoluted for my tastes.
Choosing the music at a bar sounds awesome. It's easier then begging the DJ to play a song you love.
Option B solves the biggest pain point for me, which is that I want more control of the music at the pub.

FEATURES RATING WISE ARRANGED
this wording makes sense and runs on smoothly
C lets me do everything, A lets me know the temp and B lets me know least
C is more decriptive and really explains things alot better
option C would be great because it sounds as if it's free and can correspond with Spotify app to help me listen to it later in life. option b is nice but usually those cost money and I hate spending extra money at the bar like that.
I'm not interested in controlling the music but I'd rather be able to identify songs
I'D LIKE TO BE ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT SONGS ARE PLAYING IF I HEAR SOMETHING UNFAMILIAR. WOULD ALSO LIKE TO BE ABLE TO AVOID PLACES THAT DON'T PLAY THE KIND OF MUSIC I LIKE.
I like that I can pick what music is being played
If we hear a song that we like, it would be nice to be able to save that song to play later or to buy it. That's pretty cool. It would also be nice to be able to pick songs that would be played in bars.
To me searching a song played in a pub would be ideal, then I'd like to know what they are playing at said pub.
C sounds more useful
I would prefer C the most as I would want to know what the song is playing so I could go to spotify! C is the best!
I think it would be just as easy to Google a list of pubs that play certain music, and so Option A would be my last choice. Option C seems like the app that I would actually use, although I know there are already apps that let you identify music. Still, it would be nice to identify a song and then save it for later listening. Option B sounds interesting, although I can't imagine how it would work. If many people, of differing tastes, in the same pub used the app, the results could be a strange mix.
C- I have been there so many times. Hearing a song, not knowing the name, Then remembering the tune and going crazy on google trying to figure out the name of the song. This app would be so helpful.A. I want this so bad. An app that can take me to a pub based on the music I likeB. this is kinda unfair to other peo;ple
Option C is by far the best option because I constantly find myself out at places and hear a song that I like and want to know what it is but can't find out because I forget to look it up later.Option A is the next best choice because say you go somewhere that plays nothing but country music, but you absolutely can't stand country music, this app would prevent that. Finally, Option B just seems dumb, that's what juke boxes are for.
I like C best because if I hear a song I like, it would be nice to have a way to get it for myself. A is next because it'd be cool to be able to find a place where the music suits my mood, especially if it's a place that has live music.
I would love to know what is playing and get able to save it for later.
C allows you direct connection to spotify thats the best
I find these apps to be the more appealing.
Option C as I may want to save the song for later and possibly buy it if I really like it.
