Which subtitle is more appealing?
Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 27 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
B | 54% 27 votes |
A | 26% 13 votes |
C | 20% 10 votes |

I chose the ones that get right to the point
Option A seems more realistic to me than the other two options which almost sound fairy-tale like.
i prefer this decsription
I prefer choice A over the others because it implies that there is not a shortcut involved in the effort but rather hardwork and dedication. B would be a close second because while there is no "proven formula" there are methodologies that can be used when first starting a business to increase your chances for success. C would be my last choice because a "fastest growing start-up" would already know and understand their business model long before opening for business and would rather work on refining that.
chose based on word choice
The "How" in the titles makes me feel like there will be more of an explanation than just the presentation of a formula. "Exponential growth" is a very appealing phrase.
I really like A because of the word exponential--very positive and motivating as well as long ranging.
It's simple. They just read the best in that order
The subtitle explains in a few words what the book is about. I clearly understood it.
I like the wording exponential growth. My least favorite is use of a proven formula which could be not proved.
The buzz phrase "exponential growth" is the most engaging in my opinion. Makes me most interested in learning more.
Exponential growth (A) is a quantifiable goal, while B is too vague and wishy-washy, doesn't really add value of understanding. Finding a business model (C) seems like something a business will know from the beginning, not something they find later.
Explosive growth and fastest growing are great taglines. finding business models are not attention gettting

Just like better
I like these titles best in this order.
B is the most appealing. The wording piques my interest.
I like B first since it is realistic and simple then a and then c a is okay which it had more umph, then c is just not as good
I feel Option B is a stronger statement.
If they have a proven formula, then it sounds like I can follow it
I chose option B as my first choice because I think it would be interesting to hear about the process of the fastest-growing startup. I chose option C as my 2nd choice because because I think it would be interesting to hear about finding business models. I chose option A as my third choice because it's the one I am least interested in.
I choose A because I would like to know the proven formula behind successful startups.
My #1 choice: I like the phrase "proven formula" - that really appeals to me, both words of that phrase resonate with me, I like proven and I like formulas. My #2 choice: flows very nicely and I like the phrase "achieve exponential growth." My #3 choice: I am a little sick of the term "business model." I know business models are important but I just think maybe it is time for a fresh name description there.
I like the idea of having the proven formula. It is something that you know works.
Placed in order of most professional sounding
I think that the subtitle in option A is the most appealing. I like the word "proven" in the title. I think this title seems trustworthy.
I like how this one sounds more than the others
I like the wording "proven formula." To me, it seems more authoritative, and I think I'd be more likely to want to read the book.
I like my choice because it is short and concise.
I picked in the order that i felt like it was professional and made me think the business is professional
B is easiest to understand, and "the proven formula" makes me want to learn more.
People want results and simplicity, so I picked the one that is a "proven formula." I think that tends to feel more appealing entrepreneurs.
B i like more this option heard is more professional, A i like this option too, C i don't like it
I like the frank language. It is more direct and succinct
I am going with option B first. It says everything you want to hear, proven and fastest growing. Plain and understand able. The second one I chose was c because it sounds like it will tell you how to find the model to work for you. Option a, I chose last because I read blah, blah, blah and it didn't appeal to me at all.
Option B touts a formula that I would think I would be able to put into practice on my own business.
This title is more appealing because the proven formula of this solution has been verified and tested and makes me feel attracted to this type of investment.
I like to hear that it is fast growing and it has exponential growth. Option C is boring.
In terms of marketing any time you can actually show evidence or proof "as in proven" you'll sell more information with truth than deception.
B makes the most sense
They all sound interesting bjut I would most want to learn that formula for my own startups!
10 Responses to Option C
I feel like Option C makes the content feel like it is the most flexible and applicable to any business situation. I felt like the word "formula" in Option B really turned me off. The idea of finding out how a company finds its plan seems like something that could be tailored to future ideas.
Went with my gut
it is simple and easy to undestand
The first one more models to small businesses and is straight forward
Using word "how" in the title is useful to attract readers' interest. Readers could know the topics of the book. Between option C and option A, I prefer option C since I believe the business model is key to the success of start-up companies.
I like them all it was really hard to pick my favorite
Option C has more of a pull, it makes you want to read the article to find out more. Option B makes it sound pretty interesting which is why it's number two, and Option A is just a little too wordy.
There is definite action taken and explanations are better in the first two than the last one.
C i think says a lot in short workds adn like saying THEIR. B formula so data supported. A sounds like how to start
You have to start at the beginning and find a successful model in order to thrive.
