Which Would You Like To Know More About
Option E won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 56 votes after 4 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

I always think heat food and shelter are the most important for survival
You need to survive in the outdoors and need to build a campfire as fast as you can. Building a tarp can be easy yet it is not brain science. To build a campfire is a different issue. The other options are important, but you can stop if needed and build a campfire and tent in that order to continue to endure in the forest.
I choose option A first because that's the topic I want to know more about right now. Maybe if I was stranded in the woods or something and I need to make a campfire in order to survive the night or have a overnight camping with a couple of friends. I choose the rest in there respective ranking because that's how I want to know about it.
I think option A stands out the most because it is the most useful topic.
Mostly the more adventurous ones come first because they look the most practical to learn.
I'd like to know all of these so I would rank them in the order of importance and my personal skill level. Knowing many ways to start a fire is essential for survival.
Well, with the way the world is headed today with global warming I think it's important for me to learn how to be self sufficient. Learning how to set up camp and build a fire is important.
A fire is needed for safety and heat and shelter is needed to survive. Both are immediate needs so they are equally tops.
I always like the idea of learning how to build a campfire and living outside in nature. No technology, just myself and a few friends, being disconnected from the world. It give me longing for my childhood. C is also appealing because I tend to be directionless or bad with directions, so I want to learn how to be better at navigating without gps.
I like the idea of the campfire - it's not always easy to find what you need, but nice when you get it going. I would like to learn more about that.
I made my decisions based on what I found to be the most important if I ever found myself in the woods lost. I may be wrong in the order, but building a fire and navigating seem like the two most important if you want to survive.
I put in order by the immediate needs first - A is best then C E D B
foraging and survival campfire building sounds cool for a new camper so these in A and e would appeal to me
I like option A the best because I would need a fire to both stay warm and prepare some food before anything else.
I think that campfire skills and map/navigational skills are probably the two most important outdoor techniques to know how to do on your own because they are very critical safety and survival topics. Without a source of heat you risk issues in cold weather climates, and having good navigational skills is important no matter where you go outdoors.
Love to camp so this would be very helpful

I made my choices in the order of priority I would want to learn about these things. I think learning how to make a shelter is most important and how to forage is the second most important and also a subject I have little knowledge about.
For D once you are in survival mode, physical fitness is a luxury. For C, Navigation may be an issue in survival but is probably unlikely. Knowing how to build a campfire as laid out in A is really important. Knowing how to forage as listed in E is also really important. I feel like tarp shelter techniques are really important to keeping dry and staying warm.
The most important things to know are shelter and heat and nutrition so I have selected Options B and A and E.
I think I have decent outdoors skills but I definitely think that making shelters would be a weak spot for me. It also sounds really interesting.
I think shelter is quite important and something I could definitely approve upon.
I have a tarp and could see me needing to know this one day. I have no idea how to navigate without GPS so that could be useful. I need to get more physically fit so why not survival physical fitness. The campfire thing could be useful as well. Forage- I 'm not sure what that is so it came last
I love option B the most because I see being able to build a shelter as one of the more important things you can do when lost.
Being a veteran of the US Army (15 years) I already know how to do these things, however, if I did not have that experience, I would say that learning how to build a shelter is half the battle and the most important followed by learning how to collect food.
Option B seems to be the most useful and easy to learn skill. They always say the first thing to do is find shelter, so it would help in that regard. Food and everything else would be useful. I think Option B would speak to more people and would be something they would find useful in their daily lives, even if they weren't in a life or death situation and they could apply it more usefully. Option B would appeal to more people and would make them more interested in learning about it.
I ranked my choices based on which I felt would be more useful in a survival situation.

I would lean toward this option, as I know how to orienteer, and I'm very physically fit, plus have used tarps for shelter before. Being able to read the lay of the land better, although I am moderately good at it, I feel would be more beneficial than the others. I can always learn more about it.
I am so heavily dependant on using my gps , I feel it would be beneficial to know if I ever needed to navigate and I didn't have a map availiable
I like to chose option C.Because how to navigate without GPS or a map.To get a experience.I like this option.
C is a lost skill that I think people need to know and rely on too much.
The top ranked choices are most interesting to me, and also seem the most useful but are things that I am not already so skilled at.
option c it's my first choice I've always been personally interested in how to navigate without the GPS or math I've tried to learn in the past and used to be able to I hope I can still can be able to tell time with using the sun and a stick in the ground. With being outdoors as i am would find it very useful to learn any information that I can regarding that you should always be helpful to anyone.
I chose option C first because navigation is the most important thing if one is stuck in the wilderness. I chose option A second because building a campfire is an essential skill if one is trapped overnight in the wilderness. I chose option E third because knowing how to find and get food in the wilderness is also important. I chose option B fourth because it would be nice to know how to make a good shelter. I chose option D last because physical fitness seems to be a low priority for survival in the wilderness.
Option C is the most intriguing to me as I feel like I would get more use out of it. In that I have to drive or navigate around town nearly each day. At least once a week I go to places I am not familiar with and being able to orient myself would be beneficial.. As I go camping almost once a year, if not more, so I could use the fire building or survival skills but I don't think the payout would be as great as I would not use them as often.
I choose C over A B D E because I like the idea of not using a map or GPS to find places I love to see how is going to play out.
I think knowing option C would be interesting and would require some level of technical abilities. Knowledge of Option D might come in handy too.
Option C is first because the topic is very interesting.Option B is second because the topic standard.Option D is third because the topic is attractive.Option A is fourth because the learning is interesting.Option E is last but not least and also likely to learn.
I would like to see techniques on how to use the sky as a navigational tool. I already know how to build a fire many different ways.
Navigating and tarp sheltering sound the most interesting to me.
I prefer option C because I feel it is the most useful and helpful for me. Option D, E, and A are important too. Option B feels the least necessary to me.
I ranked my choices based on what I thought would be most crucial to survival if I ever needed to use these skills.
GPS is the most useful after starting a fire in the modern age.
I've been interested in navigation for a while. 2 and 3 seem like good skills. I am familiar with 4 already, and 5 I am not interested.
All topics are interesting to me but I chose what I thought would be most useful.
Navigating without a map or GPS seems like the most useful real world skill that I might actually need one day. The others seem a little niche or just not particularly useful.
Since all of the above is not an option, I voted based on the order I would watch if all were listed in front of me.
I would like to know how to navigate without a GPS. I feel like this can be an extremely useful thing to learn and it could help on in lots of situations
I feel like knowing how to get around without a map or gps has implications even outside camping. Could be a great everyday skill to have.
How to navigate without GPS or a Map sounds like a very useful skill to lean. I would definitely like to know more about this topic.
This is ranked based on what I currently know and which option I lack knowledge about. Option C is definitely something that I'm not particularly an expert and I think would help me whenever I'm outdoors and lose a cellphone signal. Option E is next because it is useful for my cooking knowledge.
I feel like knowing your terrain without a map would be a super useful skill to have, followed by knowing how to build a campfire. Important to know how to keep warm.
i think choice C would be the best to learn cause if you ever were put in a situation without a map of gps, you would know how to get back to where you needed to be. i think it could be the most life saving. choice A would be fun to learn and the other choices seem to be good life skills type learning that would may be beneficial if ever need be.
I am very dependent on my GPS and maps so this is a topic of interest and I would assume the same for others.Option A would seem to be helpful especially if one hikes in more remote places. I would be clueless.Option E would be somewhat helpful. I don't know that I would ever need it.Option B might come in handy but not sure when.Option D - if I need to survive, I know I won't be thinking about physical fitness.

I like to exercise so this one interest me the most. Plus I wonder what it would teach and can I use it in my everyday life.
I picked D because I am curious what is considered "survival physical fitness". Most of the people that I see who are into survival are not fit at all. I'm genuinely curious about this.
D, surival physical fitness is the most important.
I am into fitness in general and would like to know more about what would be considered fitness as it relates to survival.
I chose D cause I believe fitness is very important to survive in nature.
Physical fitness is important to me in my daily life, not just being in the outdoors and foraging has always seemed interesting to me
Seems like what would be most relevant and useful to me personally.
I ranked based on the amount of knowledge I currently have on the topic and how useful I think the knowledge would be for me personally.
I chose the subjects I know the least about - no sense choosing what I'm already familiar with.
It will be much easier to know about Survival physical fitness, it will be a good knowledge and experience to have.
I think learning about survival physical fitness is the most important. You can't survive if you aren't fit enough to do it.
I like all of them equally.
D because I'm into exercising and it would be interesting for to me to find out what type of fitness is good to survive in the wild.
I would focus on my fitness needs and then follow that up with navigation to get to a safe place and eat natural foods for energy
I actually really into hiking and camping so all this is interesting. I'd choose physical fitness above the others because you need the strength and stamina to be able to perform all the other tasks in a survival situation.
A is lame because fires are just super easy to make, I want to learn how to be fit and find food to live in the wilderness
I choose D because this name is unique and creative at the same time, making people want to know about it

I think learning how to forage or building a fire would be the most useful tools for me to learn.
I have basic camping and survival skills so my preferences here are to fill in gaps in my knowledge. If lost in wilderness, most important would be simple sustenence and getting out so those rank first
Option E is what I find most interesting, so much so that I've started following foragers and foraging groups on social media. I'd be most interested in learned more about the topic mentioned in Option E.
I really like the idea of foraging, so option E is the best choice. I think that even with todays modern amenities, that foraging could be a great way to be healthy and save money.
Survival is a key thing to learn. I like options E, B, A, and D. How to forage is a great skill to keep alive. How to make a shelter using tarp is excellent too. Having the ability to start a campfire is important. Physical fitness is probably good too if you are not just surviving. Think that navigating without a map is not as key to survival but it is worthwhile.
I feel that the information in choice is the most valuable, because if you are lost, having the know how on what to eat could be very valuable and could literally save your life...choice A is also crucial, as a fire is also valuable because a fire could also cook your food and keep you warm if need be and it would be high on the list to survive.
finding food will be the most important thing otherwise the other stuff won't matter
I think food and fire would be the most important things to learn.
I picked based on the skill required and need for survival. I can find basic direction so it was last How to forage build fires is food and one of top concerns do I would pick this first
I ranked all of the survival skills that I liked the most. I really want to learn how to forage the most. I then would like physical fitness followed by building a tarp shelter. It hen would want to navigate without a GPS or Map and then finally building the survival campfire.
I think learning to forage would be the most interesting and helpful, though I'm extremely interested in all of them!
Option "E": A resource on finding food without electronics, prior knowledge or safe food resources in the time of emergency is at the top of my list of techniques for survival.
I would want to know how to live in the wilderness and depend on the land since at that point it would be my only choice.
E is first because foraging is interesting and somewhat primal.
I chose all the ones that sounded like they would teach me skills I would actually use in the wild and that I really want to know, which was all of them besides the physical fitness one, that just sounds like an exercise program.
Personally, I know a decent amount about survival, but foraging wild edibles is not something I'm familiar with. It's certainly not the most important thing about survival, but it is maybe the most interesting.
I am not on an outdoorsman at all, but I would be interested in any of these. They are all very interseting and practical. I think they would appeal to most people.
In terms of survival, the warmth / shelter and food are the top two things. Food includes water to me. Most people can't feed themselves and will eat something bad in the wild they shouldn't, and they also don't know when to stop and make shelter when their lost. So I ranked those two things highly! For me, Survival is something that's great and all, but most people today don't really want to go and survive in the woods. Even me, the woods around me have just been destroyed by industry.
Topics that I feel like I could always use more good information on go first
Being able to forage is the most important because without food nothing else matters. I know how to build a fire and tie a tarp the rest are just in order from things i know more about.
I like the prefix "How to" because it's a learning trigger. The rest are good, but take a bit more thinking.
I chose the order I did because of the skills I already possess. I'm not good at foraging so would need that skill most. I used a tarp on the Pacific Crest Trail so I know those skills and that would be least beneficial to me.
I liked choice E since it is an essential part of living outdoot or surviving outdoors. Choice B isn't always something you will have to use in the wilderness.
I would love to know more about what local flora is edible, I know that we have quite a bit around where I live, but I'm afraid of going off of foraging guides because there are so many plants that look way too similar and I'd rather not be poisoned. I think a tarp shelter would be an easy thing to learn how to do, and it's a priority to have shelter in a disaster situation. I'm fairly physically fit already, but I'd like to know what I'm able to do to maintain that level. And while navigating without GPS isn't easy, I already know how to make a compass using a leaf and a needle and water so I'm counting that as low priority. And let's face it. If an unsupervised child is able to burn a house down, I don't think I need a book or guide or whatnot to start a fire that will keep going.
I am avid hiker in Colorado - definitely the order for me
While I am interested in learning about all of these topics, I think that I would really like to learn to forage in the woods. That is why I chose Choice E. I also think that building a campfire and a tarp shelter would be neat to learn. I am not very interested in learning to navigate without GPS or a map. That doesn't sound as interesting to me.
I chose E because I think it would be really interesting to learn how to forage, i also think that it would be handy to learn how to build a campfire.
I think foraging for food is a great skill to have that can save lives and could just be used to enjoy the outdoors a bit more. Campfire can help you stay alive. I wonder what kind of fitness D would suggest. I feel as though I can already navigate pretty well without a GPS or map.
I am a forager myself so that would be the most interesting
This option would be the most useful, finding food in the wild is very important for survival. Option A is significant for survival, but food would is essential. Option C would be very helpful, but you would need to own a GPS or have a map, the other two options do not require additional objects. Option B and D are just good things to learn, they are not as indispensable as my other choices.
