I think A, B and C would be the easiest and most fun compared to F, D, E, H or G.

My family plays Catch Phrase quite often and tends to find the items like Everyday Life and Variety the easiest for everyone to play along with. While some people know history well or entertainment those categories are less inclusive of all.

I like A and E more than the other choices because I feel that they are more universally known and easier to play with in a game.

I like B, entertainment, I feel it's the most fun for word guessing as it has so many of the on the tip of your tongue movements as well as many ah ha moments. I've always found this category fun in party games as it's something everybody generally has some knowledge in.

The categories that would more require knowledge I like more. This is B, H, D, and E. The rest are more so things most people should know already and will just need to guess the right word.

Went for categories that are interesting and in most keeps the game flowing and interesting and one of the best categories is the "Entertainment" category/.

I think B is perfect for this, everyone is into some kind of entertainment so I think it would hit home more so than the others.

Most people know about Entertainment so it's a fun category for everyone.

I think the celebrity/entertainment category would be fun and have more humorous moments.

I especially like options B and C the best because I feel like they would be easiest and would be fun to try out. I don't like it when it is a category that i can't figure out how to portray and I waste time thinking.

In general the entertainment category is the most fun one, you get to get really creative with it!

I ranked these in the order that I feel I am best at. I tend to know a lot of pop culture things, so Entertainment is usually a good category for me, followed by History Buff as a close second.

I'm better on matters of fact than I am of trying to guess the logic of how a particular phrase or idea is being arrived at.

Options B,C,E,F and A are my strongest categories that I'm good at.

The entertainment category B is my favorite. I think it's my strongest category for trivia. There seems to be a a lot of variety in that category. For the rest of the choices, I tended to go for what I thought would be most fun and have the greatest variety.

I will go for option D' because it sounds very interesting and fun to read.

Based on the options description, my favorite catch phrase category for word guessing is option D, The world. It has great and interesting description and seems the best option for me.

It's a mix of what's interesting and what's easy. Variety is always fun because you never know what's coming next. Everyday life is also kind of like a variety because it's such a large topic.

Food and drink would be the easiest category for me to guess.

A, D, and E feel to vague, I would want them more specific like F, B and C to get a better idea of what category I'm working with.

G and H best one topic wise I likedF and A second best ones I liked topic wiseB and C were okay but like others betterE and D didn't like topic wise.

"History Buff" appeals to my sense of nostalgia for games such as trivial pursuit back in the 80s/90s.

Put simply, I'm well, a huge history buff! I'm very interested in history in general and love referencing it or telling my knowledge behind it; the same can be said for fauna and animals. I love animals very much, with food and drink also falling closely behind with my love for cooking!

In choosing the categories, my first instinct is to go with my strongest subjects, so those are history and science, the latter of which would fall under "Plants and Animals". After that, fun & games at least sounds entertaining, and everyday life is close behind it as a light and breezy category. Since I also like Geography and cooking, I chose their categories as my next favorites, and then I leave "Variety" and Entertainment to the very end. The former is because it just sounds too broad a category to get any kind of sense of, and entertainment is a category of which I know relatively little, so I have the least amount of enthusiasm to play a game about it.

My favorite Catch Phrase Categories would be a tie between Option H and Option D. I think both History and World Events are the most fun to guess and figure out. If I had to choose one of the two, I think I would go with history.

I like history personally, but overall entertainment might be the best category as more people would recognize the words.

H and D would appear to be the most challenging categories.

I like Options H & D as my first choices. They are the smarter choices where it actually takes some brains to answer and I find that kind of topic challenging and fun. Options E & G are also quite entertaining as they are a lighter topic. The remaining options are perfectly fine but not as eye catching and seem either complete fluff like "entertainment" or the subject just isn't that interesting for me.

Catch phrase is a fun fun mobile game and all 8 are solid categories. But my favorite is grouping is option H, history is one of my favorite themes and I bet this is a fun word game.

I most prefer the option H catch phrase category because I like the history questions the most. I chose options D, G, E, B, C and A in this order because I find the world trivia more fun than the biological questions that I like more than the generic variety and entertainment options while the fun and games and everyday life categories just seem less interesting to me. I chose option F last because I do not really care much about the food and drink category and think it distracts from the food and drink I would serve while playing this game.

I ranked my choices based on how well I think I would perform in each of those categories. I also ranked a based on which categories I thought would be the most fun.

I have multiple degrees in History, so the history choice is definitely my top pick. I'm also a fan of all kinds of food and drink, so my second choice is appealing as well!

I would select History Buff as I feel it is the most interesting category and the most dynamic word use. I think that the order of Everyday Life, Fun and Games, Entertainment, Food and Drink, Plants and Animals, Variety and The World become more nebulous and less interesting and so should be sorted in that order.

A and E suck, they could mean anything. C is pretty broad too. I like H because I'm a historical fiction writer and that's right up my alley. I need some specificity.
