I do not use a bookkeeper or bookkeeping service for my small business accounting. I have a background in finance/accounting and my business is small enough that I am able to keep the books myself without any issues.

Yes I do use a book keeping service for my accounting books because before I was loosing track and making poor business decisions because I was not keeping good records.

I do not. My small business in my opinion does not produce enough volume to hand that task over to a professional yet. The other benefit is that I can learn and understand administratively how all of it works. Eventually I plan to hand it over when my business grows a bit more.

I do not, there is little invoicing found it better just to handle myself. In the past I always used quickbooks or something similar. The cost was more economical to me for the software as opposed to a bookkeeper.

I have not found a human bookkeeper yet because I prefer to do things myself and finding the right professional feels like it would be time-consuming.

I do not use a bookkeeper because I'm too disorganized. If I do it myself I can go off paper receipts from the bottom of my purse and Paypal invoices but to hire someone to do it they usually look at that like what a mess!

I currently just use a custom spreadsheet. I used to use Quickbooks but for my type of business (resale), the small business version did not have a sufficient inventory and tracking system. I had to use incorrect fields to track certain items because the software didnt allow for it any other way, and I had no need to pay for a more advanced version as then I was just paying a lot for features I didn't need, and the cost of the software itself would hurt the business.

Yes, I use a book keeper for my small business. I run a single person S-corp so knowing all the details of filing taxes and how to account for income isn’t something I want to spend time doing.

I use an accountant because trust and familiarity is an important aspect of this sort of relationship. I would not want to trust my books to a random 3rd party service with no stake in doing things properly. Further, I would want someone comfortable with being audited and reviewed that was directly willing to put their reputation and job on the line for me.

Yes I do. And I'm very grateful for every single thing they do and the ladies that I have I could not talk them up enough. They are a godsend to me and God bless them. They go above and beyond the call of duty for the lack of a better word. They look out for me they give me a heads up on things that I need to be aware of they do more than just keep me in the loop let's put it that way. There's just no way possible I could learn the stuff that they know nor do I have the time and I am very very grateful for them. At first when I first started out years ago I thought I could handle it all boy oh boy, was I wrong! lol

Yes I do use this service for my small business where 2-3 hours work is sufficient to maintain the accounts and of course the rate is low so I am very comfortable with the service I get.
