I prefer option A because its more visual and adds something more to the video.
I like A because of the way it builds upon itself. I think the use of the AI models in the circle pictures really emphasizes what the video is about. It's interesting to think of how AI is developing and how it could fool people, as well as the hypocritical response mentioned in the video.
Seeing how it works and what it would be like seems better to me. Catches my interests a lot more and seeing how well it could be used to change myself into something robotic seems like it would be a good way to make money.
I prefer option A because it feels more engaging and innovative. Option B does not really interest me as much!
Honestly with the avatars of choice A as it proves the point about what this presentation is going, AI intelligence. Think it's kind of funny to see the avatars, I would watch this video
I preferred the video with the animations, so I would choose option A.
I like the animated characters. I think they fit in well with the subject of the video.
Animated avatars make the whole presentation look higher quality. It just feels like a richer experience to have a wide variety of characters.
I would say this particular ad is a lot more vibrant, has a lot better energy, and is a little bit easier to connect with,. In fact, I find it more relatable
I think the avatars really illustrate the point of AI type machines and thinking machines. It gives life to the voices and explains why they both sound slightly robotic, like an AI is actually explaining all this and not a person. Don't really know how to explain it well, just feels a lot better/more interesting with them there.
the words, music and depiction is a lot less creepy and critical
I like option A the best because I really like the animated characters.
For me, I would prefer it with animated characters as it's a lot more eye catching and would stand out against the other videos.
I think the animated avatar adds a certain quirkiness to the video. It gives me more to look at. It makes sense because we are already discussing AI. I say go for it! The other option was fine, but I prefer the addition.
The avatar characters adds more to the overall thematic element of AI - thus with the added "uncanny valley effect", makes choice A superior.
I think the animated characters add a fun and interesting dimension to the video that the other one does not have.
I like the animated character. It fits the topic of a surreal intelligent being.
I prefer option A' because the animation makes the video fun and interesting to watch.
I love this one more because having the animation avatar in it makes it much more interesting to watch.
The animated avatars make for a more engaging video. Also does a great job tying into the idea that AI is becoming more and more human. It's almost as if the animated characters have a life of their own.
This video presentation seemed better suited to introduce the topic of AI so I chose choice A as a result.
The avatars are innovative and contextual for the AI. They make it more intriguing and cool.
I liked it more as it got my attention a bit more then the other one.
I think the video is better with the animated avatar. It's more engaging with it there.
A with animated character looks more descriptive of the theme being discussed and it is a actually very relevant to the theme being discussed.
I find A with animated character expressive of the theme of the documentary, it makes the documentary easy to understand since it is more self explanatory.

Without, definitely. There's enough to look at on the screen without them.
I think they look good and ad a bit of flare to it to keep you interested.
Having the beginning of the video be blank makes it seem like something's wrong with the video. Videos needs pictures.
B is more visually engaging.
To me the AI presenters are a bit inhuman and weird to me for the presentation.
Without. The animated characters seem cheesy.
Option B flows much better with the text at the beginning and excluding the avatars. It works better as just voiceover.
The loud stock stock music in option B is jarring and would cause me to stop the video.
The animated avatar characters in A look quite creepy and out-of-place with the rest of the content.
B because the video is more descriptive and appealing than option A
I prefer option B. I don't need to have an avatar charactr
I would prefer the option without avatar characters because it feels more professional and authentic.
B is definitely more realistic with real live actual persons and not cartoons
B.. If I was watching this I would prefer option B because it doesn't leave the screen black the entire first few seconds
The animated characters don't really seem to add much and are really distracting.
Option B is better. For some reason, option A has approximately 7 seconds of zero visuals and audio only before it matches with option B. The animated avatar characters don't add much value to the video but they're not distracting either so whether you choose to include them is personal preference.
To me without as there is no need for them as they don't add anything to the video. All that matters is what is being spoken. They just don't fit to me.
B since the avatar in A is rather unpleasant to look at, very distracting from the video and clearly made with AI, so, will turn people away from the video.
I think seeing real humans dealing with computers better sells the idea of the two interacting. The other video has too much artificial stuff.
I don't think there's any need for the animated avatars. They're just distracting and confusing. They undermine the messages of the real speakers since they're presented as cartoon characters. I also think the voices don't necessarily match the images, which is also confusing and annoying. Go for more professionalism and realism and leave the avatars out.
I like B better because it doesn't have the animated avatars. Especially thinking about the "what does it mean to be human?" question posed at the beginning, I like not seeing the animated avatars along with the human voice narrator because it helps to keep the distinction between what it is to be human and what it is to be a robot, and then you can maybe show how they are similar or can do some of the same things, but still they cannot be considered at the same kind of thinking "beings".
I prefer the version without the animated avatars. It caught my attention from the beginning much more effectively. Also, the avatars in the other video still looked a bit cartoonish, which kind of detracts from the point of how advanced these things are becoming.
Prefer it with animated characters.
I preferred B because it had a bit more of a comprehensive and complete style that was more interesting to watch
I think the animated person is a bit weird.
Option B is way better, the presentation is more put together and seems more professional. Option A is a bit childish and all that blacked out screen at the beginning is terrible.
I do not think the bubble with the avatars at the bottom does anything for me but make me cringe a little bit since they're so not what the people speaking actually look like.
I think it's distracting with them so I prefer without the avatars.
I like the video without avatars better. The avatars distract from the video and take away from the message. You can more easily watch the video and listen to the message without the avatars.
Without the animated avatars. They don't really add anything to the video, they're just a distraction.
Before I watched the video, I thought I would be picking Option A which included the avatars. However, after watching the videos, I strongly preferred Option B without the avatars. I thought not having the avatars made the video look more professional which increased my attentiveness towards the video.
I think having something going on in the background instead of a black screen is more engaging and interesting. also the bubble with the bot talking could be used in choice b too
Option B looks much better, there are already a lot of visual elements to the video, adding an animated avatar feels completely superfluous.
I mainly choose the option without the avatar characters because I feel more connection when I believe it is a real person communicating the message. The avatar angle gives the impression that the information presented may be less authentic.
The video without the animated avatar characters was interesting and engaging. The one with the animated avatar characters in the picture-in-picture circles was distracting and it was difficult to focus on the video and the message.
The animated avatars are annoying and superfluous. The video looks more professional without them.
This video with the animations felt much more engaging and interactive.
B starts off with visuals that make it more intriguing to watch and take away from.
The animated avatars do not add to the user experience
I rather the video without the avatars since they don't really add much and look a little weird.
I prefer option B because I like the inclusion of the animated characters and background graphics while the presenter is giving an explanation. I think option B makes a better video with flowing graphics to look at. I don't like the blank video in option A because it is harder to immerse myself in.
The animated avatar is completely unnecessary here and adds nothing to the video.
The avatar in the corner is too distracting. I rather just hear a voice and watch the video and not get distracted by the avatar.
This video is better made and professional, resonates better.
I like it without the animated character better. It looks more professional and I think it will be taken more seriously
I like the humans better in video choice B. The AI guys look funky and I don't like them.
Option B is the best option because of the exclusion of the animated characters. The animated characters feel creepy and do not look as aesthetically pleasing. They are also distracting.
B is obviously more reliastic and aimed at adults and professionals rather than teens, young people or gamers.
Option B is a bit more engaging as compared to Option A, I don't love the animated characters or think they add much to the video.
There was a lot of dead visuals at the beginning of the other option.
I choose B because I think the character design is better and more fleshed out
I'd go without animated avatar characters because they don't add anything worthwhile to the presentation. They are annoying.
B is more suitable and accurate. It is easy to understand and flows naturally. It is captivating and engaging.
1. The basic thing: the animation design is not goodlooking, not fashionable (feels like I was in 2004), and very dull.2. Those with only real human, as in B, we do feel an engagement with the video because they look genuine, the emotions are authentic.3. The animation characters are not as inclusive and diverse as in the real shot video.
I like this choice because the visual display seems more exciting. I prefer the inclusion of animated avatars because it fits better with the main focus of the video.
I like the characters but it feels like an ad for a video game.
I most prefer the option B artificial intelligence video message because I think that the animated avatars look rather unnatural like those seen in the option A video message.
I did not care for the animated people that popped up in the other video. They showed up in the bottom corners and were very distracting.
I prefer option B, the one without animated avatar characters. This one focuses on just the right things like voiceover, text, overall message, etc. The other option with the avatar characters takes my mind away and pull focus from other parts of the video.
I would say that B's version is better, without the avatar. In general I find the addition to be distracting, both from the message being talked about and from the other stuff that the video is actually trying to show you to make its points. And I consider that to be more important as a point of focus since all of that underlines the topic being discussed here.
I much prefer without. The animated characters just look awkward and out of place, not really matching to tone of the video.
Definitely option B. The animated characters speaking seemed uncanny and odd. It made the video feel more like it was created by AI and easier to dismiss it. Feeling like a human is talking to me makes me feel more engaged in a video. Also option A has no video for the first 7 seconds (just a black screen). I am not sure if that was on purpose or not, but I judged the videos based only on the characters talking and not on that.
I like option B better because the avatars are unnecessary and distract from the video. I didn't see a need for them because of the subtitles.
The small animated character doesnt add anything to it.
The simplicity and limited capability of the animated avatars seem to contrast with the content of the presentation which is advanced or sentient AI. Seeing the cartoon-like avatars detract from the message that is being conveyed as they make me think in opposite to AI being advanced. Overall, the animated avatars are distracting and make the presentation appear more amateur.
I prefer Option B. I think the video overall looks much better without the animated avatar characters. I think they semi look out of place when compared with Option B.
I prefer B with live-action characters; it's more natural and less gimmicky.
Defitetly without. I think the chat it is too distracting and does not fit the video at all.
I prefer Option B because not only are the animated avatars unnecessary, but they're distracting. Option A is just too much for one person to handle with the images, subtitles, and avatars in one shot.
The avatars make it more interesting and easier to pay attention to.
Having the visual presentation available leaves little to the imagination, and I prefer having models to look at in order to form a basis of my opinion. Therefore, this version is preferred compared to the dark alternative.
Animated is much better, I like visuals that come along with the explanation in the video which makes it easier to understand.
I like B more by far- I don't think the animated avatars add anything and actually detracts from the message.
the avatar characters made it seem more artificial, I prefer just to hear the voices so that it sounds like an actual human.
