Which one of these two main images for the keyword search 'mouse trap bucket' looks more enticing to click on?
40 Responses to Option A
A looks easier to understand by the way the package picture is shown first on top.
Choice A looks better because of the black strap placement. Doesn't look good hanging off the edge like that in Choice B. Looks too random that way.
Seeing a close-up of the trap is important and led me to my preferred option
After carefully studying and comparing both images of mousetrap buckets displayed above, I selected Option A over Option B as my first preference and the one that I would more likely click on to purchase if I was in need of the type of product. I felt that this image had more eye catching appeal because of the larger image of the main component of the this product. However, I felt that both images were quite acceptable.
I like how close A feels and I can see more details.
Both images are confusing if the product name is 'mouse trap bucket'. Where is the bucket?
I think I prefer option A. I think it makes for a better looking product display, than option B.
I chose A because it has a closer view of the mouse in the bucket. I can see the product more clearly.
The product is much easier to see this way.
The image in Option A is more enticing to me because it shows the mouse trap bucket up close so you can estimate size and how the device may work. I think Option A provides a great image and the packaging is in the background that will provide more details and data about the device and how it actually functions.
I prefer this one because I love how I can see the item up close and how this item shows the details of it. This is what I care a lot about because how the product will work
A gives a close up look on how this apparatus may work and trap a mouse without killing it. It would be nice to see how it actually traps the mouse and if would hurt them or a person.
The actual device is in the foreground and more prominent allowing me to do a closer inspection to review quality and design thus making my purchase decision easier.
I choose A because the product is placed at the center of the image and concentrates customers' attention for it
I like the presentation better of this one. Plus I like the closer up image of the trap with the rat in it.
It is awesome to see the humane trap here. Think it is wonderful in image A. Seems better overall with the top unit on the bottom half of the image.
I feel like my choice does a better job of making the product the focal point and not the box. That in my opinion does a better job of grabbing my attention.
Since I am a senior citizen, I like the close-up image. It allows me to see the product and how it works without me having to go get my glasses.
I like that the mouse trap image is bigger in option A, it is easier to see the design.
I like A over B because it shows a bigger picture of the actual trap.
option A call my attention first because of the blue product itself is down lower than the box. With the object above it and the other one didn't hold my attention as long.
The arrangement of the items look better and easier to understand in option A
I think that option A is the better choice because you can actually see the product closer as opposed to just seeing the box a little closer. It helps you to see how it works.
I prefer this one and I feel like it is easier to understand what is going on and what the product is for.
It's very easy to tell exactly what it is. A large, bold photo like that always appeals more to me.
I like the close up of the actual product
I feel like I understand the placement of A better, B feels like its up on a shelf where A is on the ground.
I like Option A because the trap is closer and I can see more details.
Option A displays the product in a way that I find visually logical and clear as to how this is used. It's also visually appealing as it grabs my attention while educating on the use of this product.
Option A is the best because the mouse trap looks simple and well designed
B looks like it's floating mid-air. A looks normal.
I like option A the best because I like that I can see a large close up image of the trap.
Option A shows a large picture of the product outside of the packaging. This makes it easy to see how to product works. Option B shows the product outside but it's smaller and you don't know which image to focus on.
good to see the full image of that black stripe.
I can see what the product is better in this image
I would prefer to select option a as thr ptrdentsyion of the items looks cleaner in my opinion.
I think A is better because the image shows the product the clearest. I can tell what it is better from A.
Option A shows the product packaging clearly, while still having the main focus being the product itself, making it easier to see the product in all its details. Option B isn't as clear as A.
I like the close up image better then the far away one.
I think the image looks smoother and less chaotic in A.

I liked that the packaging was shown more prominently since this felt more transparent to me.
The larger image of the packaging is more enticing than being confronted with Option A's larger image of the mouse!
The second one kind of displays better on how it actually works. I was originally confused, but the image on B looks larger and easier to gather how it would work.
The mouse is smaller in this picture and more like a real mouse size.
It's a little bit of a confusing picture of a mouse trap but I think B shows that theirs ladder better and how the mouse falls into the trap by the tilting opening. I think this is easier to see on the larger box picture.
much better graphically designed and explained the product
I like seeing how the ramp looks and seeing how sturdy it looks.
I like option B more because the box is bigger in it. The box explains more about the product.
Being able to read that it fits any 5 gallon bucket, from the package, is great, and I can read it better on B. Seeing the ladder is good too, as in A it isn't clear what that is for, and I would have had to guess had I not seen B.
The box that is shown for this rat box in B is best suited for it
I like seeing the packaging shown in option B.
This photo gives me a better idea as to how the item works as in how the mouse would go in.
I picked B as my top choice as I like how it gives out better details.
I like the one that shows the instructions closer and the mouse farther away. You can see how it works better.
Option B shows the product fully assembled, which makes me more interested in clicking.
I chose Option B as my top choice because I like that it gives a decent idea of how this trap works. I like the images show how the trap works. I would be more inclined to look into this trap more based off of Option B.
The way that Choice B is arranged is probably the one that'd get my attention first, since it has the actual product and its cutaway located where your eyes will land first. Then once intrigued, you'll naturally move to the box below with the features. It makes sense to lead with the item itself since it's larger and bereft of text, which often gets ignored when scrolling through an e-store's vast lists.
Option B gives a little better look at the mechanism so I know how it will work.
It's smart to use the package enclosure here. It makes things more clear, including the features.
The close up picture of the rat for the other choice is a bit disgusting to me and that is the reason why I chose choice A.
Here plays an important role in the box, which contains the necessary features to understand the use of the product.
I like see the product and the detail of it having a ramp as well
This one looks more put together. The box is also closer so when zoomed in it is easier to read the information on it. Plus it shows how the stairs would attach, this one looks much more thought out.
I think I would prefer the smaller photo of the mouse rather than the larger version of the mouse.
B shows the actual product better and this is actually something I would purchase.
Option B looks more appealing than option A.
It shows the parts of the trap and how they connect to each other.
I prefer this option because is more clear what is that is the black support for and how to install it.
It's a tough call, but I chose B because I can see the box more clearly which gives me a better description of the overall product. The ladder bit is confusing though.
I feel like the rat freaks me out, so let's keep him small at least.
B gives better detail to both images, the package and the product. A's focus on the product is good, but it makes the package image so small that it's difficult to see the text and other information on it.
I prefer B because the picture is more descriptive on how it will actually look when in use.
I like how B has the ramp in place, it's more obvious how this product works. Also I like how you can see the box more clearly
I like how it shows the box more in this option
The two are very similar but between the two I would choose B because it somewhat depicts what the black strap is for. I think it would be better, perhaps, if there was an actual bucket in the photo. I believe this blue product in the photo sits atop an actual bucket that one has to provide themselves, as it does not appear a bucket comes with this bucket topper. Calling it a mouse bucket trap is a little deceiving if the bucket itself does not come included. I would definitely change the title to something else like, "mouse trapdoor bucket topper" and make it clear on the packaging that the bucket is not included. In person it would be obvious that a bucket is not included but online people might not realize. I suppose that is why they kept the bucket out of the image itself and I understand that but at the same time, not including it makes it difficult to know how the product works.
Neither one really, but B has a larger photo of the bucket top or lid. Neither shows very well just how the mouse is enticed into the trap.
i understand what the parts are, like the ramp, it looks more thought out and complete
B makes the assembly clearer, and having the example of the product in use as the first thing to see catches my eye more than seeing the box for the product
Seeing the package makes it easier to see more about the product.
I can clearly see that the black plastic strip of plastic is to be used as stairs in option B. I prefer option B over option A, by a lot.
I prefer the closer shot of the box in B. It gives me a better sense of how the product works
I like the multiple views on the product
the black piece at the bottom in A looks random and confusing
I can see the box better in B so gives me more information.
Looks a little strange and almost inhumane when the actual trap is larger and the total focus of the image. It is more pleasing to look at when you see the actual product smaller and the package in the same image taking up some space.
Option "B": I like this as it shows the setup of the product and gives the potential buyer a more realistic idea of how it will work; adding the ladder to lid graphic works better.
I feel B is the better mouse trap bucket ad. I like how this image shows a pretty detailed look at how the product works and provides the consumer with a clear look at the packaging which includes more information as well.
I picked B because it actually showed how the mouse trap worked - Option A only really showed the mouse and the product, but I have no clue on this image how it even works.
There would have to be a better description of how it works because neither one of these really showed it. However this one at least gives you an idea that it's at an angle
I prefer the option B product image because the product box is much larger and much easier to see clearly in the lower left corner of this option B product image.
Like the whole construction. Also like that it is humane. I have had mice in my house usually one every year. I try my best to catch them and take them out . It is not easy and sometimes my cat gets them before i do. but if this product works I would love to purchase it.
I like seeing it on the package as well as in use.
The one with the larger box makes it easier to read the description on the box and its features. It could explain whether this is humane trap or not.
Option B seems to explain the product more with the pictures. The box is presented better in B than it is in A.
Think that B just does a better job of showing the product and how it works. I'm not sure what the strap is for in A.
I can see the box more clearly, and I like the placement of the ramp compared to A.
The objects are exactly the same, only different placement. I like B's placement.
shows how its used better
This one shows how to assemble the trap and also doesn't have a close up of the mouse.
When I look at both of these options, I have a greater understanding of how the trap works when I view option B. I can easily see the packaging and read the text on the box so this gives me a good explanation of the trap and why I should buy it. Option B makes the trap look competent and like it would take care of the mouse problem
