Which design is more usable for a first Amazon listing image -we sell the phone case-?

36 Responses to Option A
A includes vital information about the product and it's specs.
It's common to see a listed feature in the image on one of the first photos. It also seems like a stock photo.
Option B looks like you are selling the phone, not the case (despite the small print stating otherwise). Option A makes it clear that it is a phone case - but I still think the "iPhone sold separately" should be larger.
I think the waterproof information about the phone case is its greatest selling point!
This choice is much more descriptive. It shows the product getting wet and that shows that there is protection and that the case keeps the phone dry from water
I like more details on the case shown in this one
While B shows the second picture of the case without the phone, I think your biggest selling-point if that you're selling a waterproof phone case and that's what this picture promotes the best.
It makes it stand out from other cases being sold.
I like it for being more informative than the other
I chose image A due to its more appealing sense of advertising, the water shows dynamics. That and it shows the viewer the actual point for the advertising of being waterproof.
I chose choice A because it gives more information than choice B.
Option A shows the waterproof benefit of the case.
has useful product information
Would set the case apart from other cases that aren't waterproof
Option A because it lets me know that it is waterproof. But, The IP68 (INGRESS PROTECTION) might throw some off. I would leave the waterproof and maybe but something like dust and dirt protection IP68.
Miuch more information presented
Adding the bold description to the page is more enticing because it catches my attention right away.
Saying it is waterproof would attract my attention more
I like the fact that the info for the case is listed on the picture, but it would be better if both views were included like the other option
I chose A because it states that it is water proof in the picture.
The water effects draw my eye.
This immediately calls out a great feature and one that is often a requirement for shoppers in the category.
has more info about the features
I like that it shows the specs of the case.
The water resistance information is very useful and will influence a large number of consumers. The ideal ad copy would use the image in B, showing the face and reverse of the product, but retaining the information on the water resistance.
This design seems more durable and has a lasting quality element about it.
CHOICE A IS MORE DETAILED AND THE IMAGE IS CLEARER THAN B SO THUS IT IS MY PERSONAL CHOICE FOR THE CASE IMAGE AND SUBSEQUENT AD.
I really like the splash effect
It offers more information about the product and its options.
the water effect and angle that the phone is in makes it more appealing in my opinion
I choose A because it shows useful phone aspects compared to B which shows no aspects whatsoever.
I like that it has the description in the image too
I like the additional details about it being waterproof.
water resistant a great feature in a case. i would like to know that information asap
option A gives the more phone more value
This listing image is more dynamic than image B. Image A appears to pop out of the photo and the image provides more information

It shows both the front and back of the product
Option B is visually more clear. It has more of an authentic look than Option A. Option A is too cluttered.
It's simpler and looks better.
I love that I can see how the case looks on both sides at first glance as opposed to just one.
I prefer B as it shows both the front and the back. It better shows the camera.
I like that it lets you know right off the bat that you can see through the back. With the newer phones coming in multiple colors, it's dumb to get a color then get a case that is all black and doesn't show it off. I like the front and back look better for a 1st picture.
I would suggest this option as it shows both the front and back of the phone case and is easier for a user to quickly ascertain the overall appearance of the listed product.
For the first listing I think B is better. It shows the phone case clearly. Option A would be fine later, after the phone case has been shown, as extra info. But B shows the product in regular use, without a lot of distracting designs around it.
If you want me to look at the phone case and realize that is what is being sold B emphasizes the phone case instead of just the phone.
I think Choice B gives a better view of the case. Choice A shows more information that may persuade consumers, but it doesn't give a good view of the case.
It shows more of the actual product and how it covers the phone
Picsif the whole item available
Image B is a better choice because it shows what the phone looks like from behind as well as the front and shoppers want to know this information if they're buying a case.
Choice B shows the front and back of the case which will work well to draw in people to the initial viewing of the phone case. Choice A would work better as a second feature picture of the product to demonstrate that it is waterproof and durable.
