It looks very hard and confusing. I might get it as a gift for someone nerdy, but I don't have much interest in the game myself. And I have played the original game years ago. I do have a PhD in math, but still not interested in the game.
I was a big fan or the original and we still play quick games at the dinner table occasionally. This new version is interesting although it might be somewhat challenging track all of the possible winning sides.
I have played the original connect 4 game. Yes, this makes it very easy to understand what it is and how it is played, this makes it look very interesting as someone that has played the regular version of the game.
I love this game idea. I agree that you can't see the internal cubes at the end, so score will need to occur during the game. Looks exponentially more challenging than the original 2D game.
I understand the game and I feel like it is intuitive and fun. I would be interested in trying this one out
I would prefer it with the original blue and red colors
Yes I played the original connect 4 game as a child. This new connect 4 game looks to be interesting and fun to play. I would buy and play this with someone.
I have played connect 4. Yes, it's understood.
Yes, I think that the video does a good job of explaining the concept of the game. It looks like a more compact version of the original game.
Yes I did play connect 4 as a kid and with my kids! It is a fun classic!I do thank you had all the info...but you should really emphasize the fact that you keep score as you go in the instructions or on the box it is purchased in or both.It does seem like the game could be confusing or complicated.
yes i played the original connect 4 game with my son all the time so seeing a 3D version makes it look really awesome and cool to play
I never played this before but it looks good.
Yes, I have played the classic Connect Four game and would play a game like this because it seems a lot more challenging with the many sides you have to also keep up with. It def looks like it would be a really fun game.
Yes. I have played this kind of connect game before. Yes. I think that it is clearly understood from the video how to keep track of the score in this game because of the three dimensional nature of it.
Yes I played the game as a child and would see this new version as an advanced version of the game. I would play this more so with an adult or an older child like around 12 and up as I feel like younger children around 9 -11 would not understand the concept as well.
Yes, I remember playing this game a long time ago. It is a lot of fun! I am glad that you are thinking of making this available online.
Yes, I agree with that concern because based on what I am seeing, it would be extremely difficult to count the blocks in the middle of the rows after they were put in.
The video does an amazing job explaining the concept of the game, and making it look fun and professional looking.
I have played connect four and I am familiar with the concept of the game being presented. I believe I understand how the game would play, and how you would be able to see all of the cubes through the clear walls. It makes sense to me.
This seems like so much fun to play! The uniqueness of the game and the strategy it would take to win really appealed a lot to me. I have played the original game before, so this seems like extra fun.
i've played Connect 4 a lot so seeing this cubic version is very intriguing and i'd want to play this for sure
Yes, it does highlight keeping score as you go. However, I had thought it was just a suggestion at first so perhaps it does need a bit more explanation.
I think the vide tries to explain the game in a simple way but does not give enough information on how to go about it or how it is played for someone who has never played it before. To me it is a bot vague.
I have played the classic connect 4. The explanation for why you keep score as you go is clear. But I am still a bit confused... like would that really solve the problem? The issue seems to be that when a block is surrounded by others, it would be impossible to tell what color it is, so you'd have to remember the color to determine whether 4 were connected, if that makes sense. I mean, it seems like this would require a lot of memorization, or not merely keeping track of connect 4s as you go, but keeping track of where each block was placed.
I have played Connect 4. The video left me still not understanding if you score when you align 4 inside of the cube.
I thought the game looked very interesting. I have played the original, and I believe this alteration is fine. I am not super enamored by it. I think some alternations are needed, but it is a good base for the product.
I can. The video does a nice job of showing example of the scoring and shows how you are supposed to move the cube during the game to help see.
Yes, I played the connect four game a lot as a kid! This seems cool and fun and like a way to really challenge yourself. I think it is pretty clear, but you'd have to be on your game to keep up with all the maneuvers it seems like, but it looks fun!
The video is very easy to understand. I like how the information is presented clearly, and includes relevant details like age range for who the game is for, the general premise, and purchasing options.
I understand how the game is played but I think the 3D aspect of the game should be highlighted a little better.
I played connect 4 a lot and this game looks a lot more challenging and hold up for older kids not outgrowing it, looks like a good travel game, might be frustrating for younger kids
Yes I've played connect four many years ago
I don't think its clearly understood. I think eveyone is familiar with the original connect four game, that you see the board each player sees their own side. This version being three dimensional you need to keep scorte as you go, not in the end. The directions were not clear on how its played, plus the added dimensionality will take time to understand. Its a different game with different strategy. The original version there was the first person to connect four wins. This is different.
I have the game connect 4 currently in my office. I’m a play therapist who uses games frequently with kiddos to connect and to communicate thoughts and feelings. I would love to have this for my older kiddos. It would be a fun way to play a classic game. This one involves more complex problem solving and I feel like I could gain more insight into my kiddos by just leaving it out in the room. Definitely would love to play it and use it as an added tool in therapy.
I have played and love the original game of connect 4. I think this is trying to hard to take something old and make it new. I think we are taking classic games and making them more complicated just for the sake of making them more complicated. I would not want to try and play this game. The design is visually confusing. I think leave a classic game alone.
I have played connect 4 before but this game looks to be overly cumbersome and difficult in comparison.
I have played Connect 4 many times especially when I was in school, and this new 3D version looks fun and interesting. The video makes it clear that scores need to be kept during the game and not at the end. The concept of the game looks simple, but I think there will be depth to the strategies in planning your moves.
Yes, I played the original game when I was a kid. I like the idea of having a 3-D version, but it seems a little bit complicated to try to keep score of all the different ways to get four blocks in a row.
Yes, I've played connect 4. This appears to be an image rather than a video, and the images don't explain the gameplay. I would agree that it's difficult to keep track of score and to see the balls on the interior once they're covered up. It's not clear to me how you would track the score.
I have played the earlier version of connect four. I am not quite sure how you drop these in to make four. It would help to see people play it. This would sure be a great car trip game to get kids to quit looking at their phones.
Connect 4 is a staple game at my house and I have played it since I was little. I like the idea of a 3D version of the game and would love to give it a try. Based on the video I don't think it would be too difficult to learn to play.
I agree with the statement that you cannot count this at the end to see who won. You will need to count as you go and hope you don't forget.
Yes I played the game and I really like the idea of the game with the details of the video. I would buy this
yes when you angle the cubes it makes it easier to see that you can score as you go and not count at the end, so it makes sense to play the game that way.
I have played the traditional game before and it was fun. This would bring the game to another level that would be even more fun.
I think that is a cool, new version of a classic game. I think the video does a good job of showing how to play this version. Seems like an easy game to understand. I used to play the original connect 4 when I was a kid. I would be interested in trying this new version.
I played connect four a lot as a kid. I think the appeal of that game is simplicity and accessibility. This overcomplicates with minimal benefit. I am not sure the video does enough to demonstrate why this would be more fun in 3D. It seems like the game would simply take longer as a large part of base connect four is playing defense until your opponent makes a mistake. This would just prolong the period of essentially stalemate. The cubes also don't look different enough from each other in the way that red vs. black does in connect four.
This video does an excellent job of showing me how the game is played and looks very entertaining and it's easy to understand. I have played Connect 4 and always enjoyed the concept. This looks like a lot of fun!
I would hope there's a more in depth description in the instructions, but I do think the video helps show how the game is played and scores are kept
The video talks much about the gaming product and the whole concept of it but provides very little details about how the game is played, a step by step explanation of how the game is played.
I see no problem with keeping score with this format. I was able to see through the sides with no problem. It is easy to understand where you stand after making your moves in this format. I like it a lot
Yeah, I played it and had the game back in the 80's. This looks like an interesting twist on Connect 4 because it's in cube form. I also like that it's a smaller footprint which will make it much more mobile.
I used to love playing connect four as a child and my kids now love playing the game as well. I love this idea and find it very interesting. It seems fun and exciting to play. I think it shouldn’t be an issue keeping track of your score during the game instead of at the end
Yes I get the premise and that it is not possible to see through all of the cubes, but it's a demo.
This is genius and connect 4 is so easily learnable that this provides a great twist to a classic game
The ad makes the game easy to understand because it is simple and well demonstrated. The game looks cool and the material is durable. I understood every part of the video very well. I would recommend that a guide be included for more clarity and instructions.
I understand that the video says you can keep score as you go, however I didn't get much more information on how I could do that in all the situations where a score happens. So I can tell it's easy to count when it's obvious, but if there are squares hidden like in the middle with pieces around it I think that might be difficult so see.
I think that it is easily understood. For me I had no issues that were mentioned but others users. I can see where they would say something like that though. If you look at it simply, then that might be a conclusion that someone forms.
This is great! I still own the original Connect 4 game. Consumers can easily understand that scoring is performed as you go, rather than at the end. I like the cube design, which will be easy to pass back and fourth between opponents. The other dimension adds complexity and restores newness in the game.
Yes I did play the 2-D version of this game and still do sometimes. The video makes it clear that you keep score as you go. It's not clear how you keep score however and it may cause some confusion (arguments) at the end when you are trying to figure out who won.
I haven't played it before but I want to! 1-109 love that.. To answer the questions within the video of keeping score- I watched this video probably 20 times no exaggeration because at first I thought you were asking about the end of the game and that's my bad because your question is very clear, your wanting to know If it is clear that you can keep score through the game-Yes! That is clearly communicated and said out loud, easily understood and after watching this video I now have a new game I want to play!
Yes, I have played the traditional connect 4 game. Yes, the fact that you score as you go is clear in the video. I wonder, though, if some wins might be inadvertently missed nonetheless.
I think I understood, it's like connect 4 but in 3D. I used to play connect four as a kid. I probably wouldn't buy this but if I had kids or I was getting a gift for a kid I would get it it looks cool.
The video explains the game in a good and clear way. I have played the original connect 4 and would love to try this one.
It looks like a cool game but I don't think that it explains the issue about not seeing the pieces in the middle.
I have never played this game before, but based on the simple instructions, it looks as though it would be easy to understand and play. It also looks a little challenging.
I have played the traditional connect 4 version but very very long time ago, I first did not even understood what this referred to and I still am not sure how this is played from video.
It seems to be a simple enough game to connect 4. I never played but it looks interesting to me.
I think this video does a good job explaining how the game is still simple, but also has a fresh spin to it! It is easy to understand and I like the pace of the ad.
I would not have understood this from watching the video. My immediate question was how can you see though it? I love the concept and it seems fun but after watching this I would still have questions.
Yes I have played connect four but not this type of fancy version. I like the way the ad looks it makes it clear the dimensions of the blocks the way to play it it's not confusing at least not to me it has a beautiful design wood look on the blocks. To me it looks like a fancier premium high quality way of playing an old game. I would have fun and enjoyment playing the game and playing with others who like something simple but with quality and intellect involved. I think this is suited for the age group that it claims it for in the video. I like the design and the color of the blocks.
Yes, I have played the game (the original one). I think just about everyone has. We have one in our home now. The video does make it very clear to keep track of your score as you go, but I still think this game looks too complicated for me and my grandson.
It doesn't seem to stress the point of keeping score as you go, it seems to be just mentioned. It does not mention that you keep score as you play because it would be difficult to see, but when you watch, you can clearly see that the outside lines would obstruct easily seeing some previous moves. I think if you didn't understand that aspect, that it would become apparent pretty quickly as you play. I think it is somewhat easily understood in the video.
I never played the game. I would like to though. It looks fun.
No I do not understand . The center cubes would not be seen and would have nothing to do with the sides.
I think it's easy to see the positions of the cubes given the cube itself is clear plastic.
Yes, I played the original Connect 4 by Hasbro a lot as a kid. And this is an interesting idea even it's just basically up 5 games Connect 4 mashed together, with each game using part of the game to the sides of the current one. Seems pretty simple me from the video.
Seems simple enough to me! Not sure why if people get 4 cubes in a row they can’t take score ?
I have played traditional connect 4. I think this would be pretty cool because there are so many different ways to win.
Yes I have played a game that has some of these elements and it is very stimulating.
The video makes it clear that you should keep score as you go, the question in the description is unclear and the English used in the question and description is poor.
Yes, I have played the game Connect 4. After watching the video, I get the concept. One thing I was confused about was if the rows only count if they are against one of the sides of the cube. Like can you get a row that is vertical from bottom to top in the the very middle of a cube? It would be difficult to keep track of points if this is the case.
I don't like it. I don't think I would count all of the inside rows, since you can't easily see. How do I know the height and the side. seems too complicated to try and learn or play.
I cannot 'see through' the blocks physically, indeed this might cause a difficulty in figuring out if the blocks in a row are all in the same color. Still the concept is easily understood.
I love playing Connect 4 with my wife, and this new version of it is understandable, but not sure I would prefer this over the simpler version
I have played traditional connect 4 and enjoy it. This definitely looks interesting, but I'm a bit confused on how you can see if you've gotten four in a row on the inside if there are other cubes around it. I also don't love the idea of keeping score on paper, especially for such a portable, hand held game. It does look nice and would be challenging.
I understood the instructions, I think that this product's instructional video is fun, simple and inspires competition which is important for this kind of of product.
Yes, I definitely can understand what this game is about and how to play, I have played the simpler version of it, and I feel like this one takes it to the next level. I would definitely be interested in trying it and seeing if it does not become confusing With the extra dimension
I think that the explanation in the video clears up any confusion or misunderstanding about the game. I like that this explanation makes things much clearer and it creates an understanding that I did not previously have. This game is so much fun and with this video, it will be even more fun.
The concept and game play are very clear. No changes are needed.
I think that it does make sense to keep score as you go, but if that is the case, I would move away from advertising so heavily that this game is a 3-D version of the classic Connect-4 game because I think that that is where a lot of the confusion is coming from since in the classic version the game ends as soon as someone connects four in a row.
Yes, I use to play the classic connect 4 game. Watching the video, the explanation is easy to understand
I have played connect 4! I can see how you could count the classic up and down and horizontal scores after the game ends but counting it going across the bottom ten it's fair that you'd have to keep track mid game. Not everyone would want to do that or they may forget. The video does make it understood that you'd need to keep track but it doesn't really explain why
I have played Connect 4 before. I understand the scoring and how to play this game.
I have played the connect 4 game with the plastic base and the colored checkers. This is a whole new spin on that it seems, it looks simplebut I am guessing there is a strategy to it, I am very interested.
I have never played this game. Nut it looks like a lot of fun. I love the 3d idea.
This game makes sense, it would definitely be a new challenge for the classic game type. It makes sense to keep score as you go because you will cover up the previous connections.
This looks confusing, but I have played the original famous connect 4 and enjoy that game.
I understand the issue with not being able to see the interior cubes once all the blocks have been placed because you can't.
I think it seems like a very fun and strategic. I loved playing the old connect 4 game this is a fresh take and it is marketed well
