There's just way too much scrolling on the front page. It needs to be condensed; it's literally 7 or 8 screens worth of images and giant text.
I like the site, but it's kind of an info dump on the main page, which is kind of overwhelming. The pop up that forces me to take a quiz is ANNOYING, please remove it, I can't close out of it without clicking it.
The about and Contact info would look better linked at the bottom.
I think it's fine, but take away that auto quiz that pops up after a few seconds of browsing the website.
It seems like a well made site that has a big UI and easy to understand shop look, I would buy here
The website looks nice, to me. Not alot of merchandise for sale, but items that are available look like quality items. Love the reviews from customers who have actually bought the capes and describe the quality themselves. Perfect item for Cosplay, would definitely purchase a cape from this website.
I personally think it's a great looking website with good functionality. I don't have any negative feedback to give.
I really like the design of the website and the products offered. I think the purple banner size and be made to be less wide so it's not so intrusive. Aside from that the website is very intuitive and well designed.
It seemed really straight forward maybe a better name could help but its not necessary.
The website has a basic and clear structure to it. It should be intuitive to use for most users. I would replace the text "Cart" with an icon of a shopping cart like most websites have. When you hover over the text in the section headers, it should change colors to purple to make it feel more interactive.
Oh, 100% I have like 3 friends who are into this. 1 is pretty serious, like a lifestyle thing. 1 larps and one fancies themselves to be a Sith lord. Not even kidding. Honestly, a third of the people that I regularly hang out with are into cloaks. Just texted 2 of them the website addy. So yeah, pretty sure you could say I'd recommend the site. The prices aren't bad either. Needs a Lando Calrissian style cape.
I thought that the website was very good and I also thought that it ended up looking extremely professional. I enjoyed all of the photographs of the models on the website who were modeling the products. The only thing that I wondered a little bit was if there was any gender divide having to do with the cloaks. For example, are there specific cloaks for women? I I would also ask the same in regards to men. I also think that it would be a lot of fun to create cloaks for children as I believe that they would really enjoy them more than any other age group. I also enjoyed looking at all of the different colors as well as of reading the past customer testimonials. The only other thing that I would suggest is to not have everything so wide in the open right away. People could click different links for the colors as well as the testimonials for example.
The site looks great and is very good. I would include a larger image of someone in a cool cloak right in that big white area on the top header area.
provide a website design in dark mode as it would make your product look more elegant and unique
It is great but I didn't see a purple cloak and purple is the color of royalty.
The design is authentic and fitting for the natural audience. The product is demonstrable.
Nice clean modern design. Remove the quiz, its obtrusive and I just want to explore on my own.
I like the lady in the tartan with the cloak. I think the guy in all of the photos looks sort of weird, and I didn't want to look at any of those cloaks and he is in all of the thumbnails. I would think the cloaks would be more of a mix like the lady in the tartan dress instead of a wizard cloak to wear to Harry Potter World at Universal studios or a costume to a SCi Fi or Comic con event. I would wear a cloak to church, because then my youngest daughter would sit my me to steal part of the fabric to stay warm.
I think the main feedback I have is that the last thing I want to do these days is be prompted to take a quiz or sign up for a newsletter the second that I log onto the website. I think the photography is pretty good but the fabric of the cloaks looks a little thin.
I like cloaks and have a couple, but the type shown on the site seem a little "renaissance festival" as opposed to something that may be urban or fashion forward. If that is what you are going for, then you are fine. If not, well, something to consider relative to the photos on the main landing page and the product pages.. Things I liked: focus on pockets at the beginning of the site was good; however, I would rather see photos of people wearing the cloak first, as opposed to the pockets. I think having a pop-up quiz was a good idea. I would change the tab label to focus on the logo and "Ravenfox Capes". You don't need "Hooded Cloaks for Sale". Your business name is sufficient to state what it is.
I didn’t like that a pop up interrupts my scrolling before I reach the bottom of the page. I also think the portion of the page that’s visible immediately upon landing could be made more aesthetically pleasing via an image of some sort. Otherwise I liked the idea of the quiz and the layout seems relatively clean.
I would show people wearing your cloaks at recognizable cosplay venues in some photos in major cities from your Instagram up higher on the front page. I'm impressed that you have diverse people in your images, including a guy who isn't thin and a woman who has hairy legs. That said, you only have one guy presented in the New Cloaks in Stock gray background section down the page and that's not appealing. You need more diversity with your close up models. The lavender cloak in the purple section is hard to make out because the background is nearly the same color and distracting. Increase the size of all of your navigation titles at the top of the page and darken them because the grey is hard on the eyes. Move the road sign decal decor to the home page and have a more detailed section linking to the decor section from that page. There's a lot more, but you really need a professional redesign.
The quiz, while intriguing, is NOT the way I would expect to enter this web site. The quiz was fanciful, but unless I was looking for a "fanciful" "cosplay" cloak, it doesn't do anything for me, and I would NEVER give my email address (and subject myself to SPAM in the future) in order to get the ridiculous result of such a quiz. As for the rest of the site - the "Decor" section seems to have NOTHING to do with cloaks. The pricing of the cloaks has a wide range ($110 - $69) without any explanation as to why one would be worth more than another. Also, the assumption is that "one size fits all", and that isn't the case. Some measurements/sizing information would be helpful. (Also the photos show full length cloaks and shorter "capes" without any indication of which are which (the captions called them ALL "cloaks"). If I want a full-length cloak, it would make a huge difference if I was 6'2" or 5'6", unless I either want the bottom of the cloak dragging in the mud, or dangling just below my knees.
The layout is clean but i don't like the colors. Especially the purple.
Site appears to well laid out and easy to navigate. There maybe just a little too much information and content on the homepage. If I was in the market for a cloak, I would certainly go to this site to compare prices and possibly purchase.
This a decent website, it is a little on the plain side. The logo doesn't really stand out to me too much, but it's not bad. The background is a little too dull, I would like a more interesting and vivid look for a site like this to help make the cloaks look more exciting. Everything's pretty clear, if I was interested in buying a cloak I would consider this site.
I would add a much grayer degree of transparency and user reviews.
I didn't like the WHAT TYPE OF CLOAK WEARER ARE YOU pop up quiz. I mean, you should show people larping and having a good time. Not just some nerds wearing cloaks looking nerdy. Make it look more fun and exciting.
They will make it more appealing to the eyes of the consumer and also more user friendly
I like it! The products look fun and exciting, and the purple layout of the website looks really regal and classy. Very nice website for sure!
If you are looking for a cape to play dungeons and dragons or be dr. strange, this is your place. There should be more pictures of the capes and styles
The home page is a busy. I think that the content looks good however I would add another couple pages instead of putting all the pictures on the homepage.
They actually look really cool. I wish pricing were more obvious though. Also do they do up? If there a picture of the pickets? Other than that the site is nice.
Looks cool to me. Very modern design, looks like a pretty standard website.
It seems like there's a lot of scrolling on the site. The content could be condensed a bit.
First thing I would do is get rid of the quiz pop up at the beginning. It is annoying and not many people would be interested in that. Secondly I would not put the review at the beginning as people wouldn't trust them anyways. And lastly I would update the layout of the main page as it looks dull and plain.
I love the photos and the cloaks. I had to go in further than I wanted to find out that there are two different lengths and slits in the side seams to put your arms through. It is not plain on the front page, and I might just fly by if I wasn't looking for you.
The site is easy to use and attractive. One thing that stands out is the Extreme Luxury Black Velvet Cloak. The picture is just all wrong. I don't like the city setting and the girl's dress is so out of place. She's wearing a spring dress with a velvet cloak, that just seems wrong.
I think the website is well designed and easy to explore. The website is well built and has good graphics
I think it should be called something different because ravenfoxcapes make me think that it is made out of raven feathers or fox fur, so unless that is the casase I would like it to be named somethin different,
I feel like the website doesn't show me enough cloaks when it first loads up. The pictures are a bit too small and i have to scroll down to see them. If I'm going to buy a cloak I want to see a whole bunch of nice photos of the cloak. It sort of feels like this website is hiding the cloaks from me, like they aren't actually proud of product they sell. I do really like the idea of pockets in the cape though. Overall it's pretty good if a little sparse. Maybe making it more clear that the capes come in different colors would make it appear like you have a bigger selection to choose from.
Higher quality product images
It looks really cool and epic but the cloaks are kind of expensive. Maybe give a discount code with the website to encourage more people buying the product.
Show the main themes of the designs higher up. Picture boxes with links to fantasy, scifi, etc.
I don’t like the purple banner in the middle of the page, it’s distracting. I would like to see a full length picture of one of the capes in the masthead or towards the top of the page. I feel like it’s important to showcase the product on the main page to pull the audience in and make them want to click and see more products.
I'm a bit confused because the main landing page makes it seem like there are a bunch of cloaks on sale, but when going to the shop there is only one option for men and three for women. Am I missing something, or is that just the stock? If so, perhaps make the front page more clear to leave the user less confused.
I feel like a simpler layout with less colors.
I'd like to see more full pictures of the cloaks 'above the fold'.
This is an odd product. There is a lot of text. Maybe edit it down and get to the photos sooner. I need to see how people look I’m there
I feel that the site is easy to follow and understand how to navigate and use the site. I like that I am able to find what I want easily and how everything is sorted.
