National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
NAMI is the United States' largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
Since 1979, NAMI has provided advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. The organization helps shape public policy, offers real-time support with its toll-free helpline, and runs multiple public awareness initiatives each year.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea. Observed on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States, it is a day that encourages people to do good.
