Which of these company names would you buy tactical products from?
Option D won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 54 votes after 4 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

I think Slate and Foxtrot sound like tactical gear shops.. the other options don't really have the same appeal.
Option A sounds the most familiar and easy to pronounce compared to the other options
A sounds strongest.Slate sounds real and sort of tough. C, Apollo, also sounds real and interesting, godlike. B Taiga is hard to say but better than Zomp or Foxtrot which sound funny, like a sort of joke or gag and tactical stuff might be more serious than that.
I prefer A because it sounds cool although there isn't a deeper meaning to slate. D and C are words I recognized but I don't see the connection to tactical gear. E and B are unrecognizable words to me and sound a bit silly for tactical products.
Zomp is good because it has no other association. Slate is okay because it has many associations and so is a generic term. Taiga, Foxtrot and Apollo should be avoided because they ae closely tied to other meanings
I would buy tactical products from option A because it sounds the most interesting and engaging. Option C and B sound pretty unique too. Option D and E sounds the least enticing to me overall.
I like option A the best because the name sounds the most porfessional.
All of the options sound like a viable tactical shop except for B. Taiga isn't something I think of when I hear the word tactical.
I like the combination of the two words to make up the name. I find it more easier to say and remember.
Option A sounds like a "new brand" Has a nice ring to it.Option B is very interesting for a tactical brand. I think it stands out.Option D sounds too generic. Almost to cheesy.Options C & E just don't roll off the tongue that well. What is "zomp" I have never seen that word in my life.
I like choice A the best. I love the name and the way it sounds.
A sounds tough, affordable, and competent. C sounds high-quality but possibly expensive. D sounds capable, but the name's a little cliche. B gets my attention, but then I realize it's because it's kind of borrowed from a well known manufacturer of shotguns. E sounds too silly, like they'd sell tactical paintball equipment.
A- the word "slate" sounds quite tactical and professional, C- Apollo is strong sounding (like Greek God), B- Taiga is a unique word and fits with tactical well, E- Zomp is unique, short and easy to remember, D- Foxtrot makes me think of the dance from the 50s, which is fun, but not necessarily tactical
Zomp is a pretty silly name. Slate, Apollo, and Foxtrot all have their own cool assiciations, and fit well.
i would buy from the company ranked as I have it because some names sound better than others and are easier to remember too
Slate tactical is easily the coolest sounding, the best name by far. Foxtrot is alright and the other 3 aren't that great. I'd go with Slate out of these choices.

i think the name in option B, taiga tactical sounds the best out of these because it has a nice ring to it
Taiga Tactical is a great name and screams "Russian Wilderness Power". Apollo Tactical is 'okay'. Not great, not terrible. The rest, especially Foxtrot Tactical scream "tryhard wannabe cop/military"
Taiga Tactical just rolls off the tongue.Slate Tactical does not at all.The others are about the same.
I liked the idea of Taiga Tactical - it has a nice name to it, and kind of reminds me of Porsche Targa. I also like Apollo tactical because it draws its name from Greek Mythos. Foxtrot tactical was OK, since Foxtrot comes from the alphabetical F in the military. Slate and Zomp tactical didn't really speak to me with any sort of personal connection.
I like the alliteration in "Taiga Tactical" the best, and I feel like it matches well with the product category.
I like the alliteration in B, its also kind of fun to say. C is generic but sounds legit. D's name is a bit corny. E makes no sense to me, it sounds kind of comedic.
I like the two T name in Taiga Tactical for a name for tactical gear, it sounds professional and would make for a good company name
Option B is a neat name and like I would expect to see in a sporting goods store like Bass Pro.
I really like the alliteration of Taiga Tactical, and it makes me think of tough and well made stuff able to handle taiga.
The taiga is a wild and rugged place. You have to be tough and resourceful to survive there. Gear from Taiga Tactical is for tough survivors.
The alliteration in Option B is more appealing to me and most fun to say. The other options have a serious tone about them which is good, besides Option E which is not appealing to me.
they are all good names but i like this order best. the first three are close to military names so you kind of associate these with the company app names. the other two are ok they just need something else they seem too made up like something on Facebook that are those fake websites with cheap name brand stuff that is too good to be true.
I like Taiga the best but I’m pretty sure that’s already a firearm manufacturer name.
I put B first. It just sounds like a cool name, Outdoorsy and fun. I absolutely don't like E at all, sound like something from a kids show. C is too outerspace'ish. D & A are just ok. Foxtrot is kind of cool sounding, though seems like too much. And slate is good but can imply something totally different.
I prefer option b because it has a ring to the title
B/ Most professional sounding nameC/ Also sounds professionalA/ Also sounds professionalE/ This sounds like a kids brand, what is a zomp?D/ I know foxtrot is part of the military alphabet, but for people who don't know, they envision old people dancing a foxtrot

Apollo sounds the most professional out of the rest.
I liked apollo to most because most of the other words did sound right or clear with the word tactical behind it
Apollo and Slate sounded the most technical and advanced. The others sounded a bit random.
A and B seem to be more natural, maybe even a real name. C is a little cheesy because Apollo is a bit overused, while D and E are too comical.
To be honest, none of them is really appealing. I like Apollo the most
I just decided from top to bottom which ones sounded the coolest.
I chose option C first because Apollo Tactical sounds like the most professional name out of all the available options. I chose option D second because Foxtrot tactical almost rhymes with tactical and is partly alliterative. I chose option A third because slate sounds like the business is a solid business made of durable materials. I chose options B and E fourth and fifth because these names sounded made up and not real.
Options C and A, in that order, are the preferred names because they convey the image of tactical-type equipment
No idea what zomp is supposed to mean. Tactical gear is supposed to project masculinity and power. Apollo reminds users of America's strength in Space exploration. It is a good association with tactical gear.
I personally like the name Apollo a lot. Slate is very good too, maybe even better for a weapons company.
Apollo and slate are my top 2 choices and could have picked wither. Slate is a bit different but I stayed with the more known.
The "Apollo" connotation - a very successful NASA program / Roman god - appeals to me most.
I like option C the most because it has the word Apollo in it. I am attracted to it because it is a name involving space and I feel like if they use that name I will more associate them with high quality and accuracy.
APollo is classy and athletic.
Easy to understand in the above order
C. reminds me of the NASA space missions. D makes me think of soldiers sending messages over the radio B. Taiga sounds like a Military place. A Makes me think of a rock or writing on a slate. E. Zomp seems like a siily made up word.
I like option C the best because Apollo makes the name sound dominant.
Options C and A are tied for me for best name. Apollo and Slate really slide off the tongue and sound like they are solidified names in the industry
D and E sound more like a flapper dance in the 20’s. C B A are the only ones you can moderately take serious.
I choose C first because it just reminds me of a more tactical name for a company.
I like C "Apollo" by far the best out of these choices. Apollo is such a classic name, and Apollo was the god of shooting (at least archery) so it fits. I also am just attracted by the word starting with a capital "A". Taiga is second because is sounds simple and memorable. I like Slate OK, but it is sort of boring. I really don't like Foxtrot because it is the name of a dance and sort of sounds weird. Zomp is dead last because I think it sounds awful, like a zombie thing, and not a brand I'd want to interact with.
C and D are my favorites by a long shot.
I picked the ones that sounded good to me, to be honest the last two were picked because they just sounded silly.
I like Apollo Tactical the best because it is appropriate and easy to say and remember. A was my second choice because it also sounds cool and appropriate. D was ok but I didn't think it was relatable at all. E and B were not my favorites because I could not even pronounce it or know what they mean.
Apollo Tactical is a great choice. Very appropriate. Slate Tactical could be nice too. Taiga Tactical is not bad but not a name that has a meaning necessarily. Foxtrot could be cool but sounds too much like that dumb movie. Zomp is just odd for a tactical company.
I like the name Apollo Tactical because it sounds like the company produces military products.
Apollo sounds godlike and very premium. Foxtrot has military connotations so it also works well for tactical gear. Slate is my next favorite, but mainly because the last two (Taiga and Zomp) are meaningless words to me. I have at least heard of the word "Slate" before and it has a nice ring to it. Taiga sounds somewhat Asian and may not do well in the US market, while Zomp sounds clunky and makes me think of zombies.
Apollo is a strong, recognizable name that evokes power. Foxtrot has a military connotation.

based on what catches my attention the most
Option D is most appealing because its name invokes a military-like feel.
This name sounds the most fitting for this type of brand for me in a way that speaks to quality and a history in the industry.
I like the name Foxtrot because it reminds me of codenames or Army code language. Seems like there's a sensible link between the two words. Makes me think of secretive or high quality gear. Something used by professionals in the field.
Foxtrot reminds me of nature. This makes me think of milatry tactical operation. The name is also easy to remember .
Foxtrot sounds the most like a tactical company, followed by Apollo. I don't really like the rest of the names.
Foxtrot Tactical and Apollo Tactical sound professional and military like. Slate tactical sounds a little less professional, however, more so than the last two options which sound like nonsense.
option D sounds like it could be a quality brand
I picked Foxtrot Tactical (option D) because it's a military term - so in my mind, they would be making quality tactical items.
D C or A - with a personal preference of D - I dont care for E or B at all.
I ranked the potential names for a tactical product company that I liked the most. I liked the name "Foxtrot" as the most serious sounding. I then liked the name "Slate" followed by "Zomp" then "Apollo" and then finally the name "Taiga".
I think D is likely to appeal to people interested in tactical items because it is easily recognizable as one words used by the military when spelling a word letter by letter to avoid confusion. Soundin military gives me the impression they are more likely to understand their product.
Foxtrot tactical reminds me of the military or military style weapons.
D- illicits the concept of tactical. While B doesn't imply tactical it does have a good 'ring' to it. It feels like a very flowing name. I didn't really care for the remaining options, but A being slate sounds like construction, I don't see the connection, but it's better than Apollo or Zomp both of which make no sense to me. They do not entice me to dig deeper, not inspiring me to visit or purchase.
Foxtrot has that military sound that is popular with the tactical products audience. Zomp is a little too far out there.
D fits in great with a tactical company due to its used in the military a lot. A sounds good to. E C and B do not sound like tactical words or company names so it would be hard to really know what they where.
I went from the most military sounding to the strangest. Zomp? I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, but it makes me think of zombies or something. Foxtrot and Apollo sound more bad ass.
Taiga and zomp are made up words that kind of seem like they're supposed to mean tiger and zombie. I don't really care for either of those actually. Simple is more professional usually
I like the name Foxtrot because it reminds me of the military - and I like Apollo second, as it seems to be a modern use of the word. I least like the word Zomp.
D sounds the best as it has a military reference. A is ok as well.
D, because foxtrot sounds more military. B, because Taiga sounds a little exciting. C, because Apollo brings to mind the moon landing, and it sounds exciting and active. E, because Zomp doesn't mean anything and sounds clumsy. And A, because Slate brings to mind a liberal website.
I like option D the best because Foxtrot has strong ties to the military, which definitely helps when you are selling tactical products. I also like option B because it is fun to say and rolls off the tongue well.
Taiga, I am not in Russia this is strange to have this name. They all are kinda underwhelming.
I love D and C. I think Foxtrot is the best! That sounds great, it's fun sounding, memorable and easy to say and I just like it. C is cool too- Apollo sounds tough and nice. A and E just are plain to me, and I'm indifferent to them. I don't like B at all.
For some reason I like foxtrot for this tactical rental it just kind of sounds like it fits. Slate is pretty good too it goes good for a name for this.
Option D sounds the most tactical and professional to me. I would expect high quality products from that name. Option A falls second as I find it somewhat appealing. I don't particularly care for the rest of the names. I would stick with either of the first two.
Option D uses a word I associate as a Tactical term, the word "foxtrot" is very common when referring to tactical products. The other options sound nice, but I've never heard about some of those words and don't know what they mean, If they mean the same as "foxtrot" - the use of a word in place of letters to avoid miscommunication - any of them sound good, but I still would choose Option D because it's the better known term associated with tactical Lingo.
They all sound nice I would go with what I pick though
D is a great name for tactical gear as it is a reference to a code name for a military unit and right away it makes you think of soldiers.
Foxtrot sounds military because its used a lot. Slate also sounds strong. Zomp sounds like you are are getting hit.
I like D because the word foxtrot sticks in my mind easily.
I would choose option D because foxtrot is a word that I have often heard associated with military and tactical maneuvers.
Option D had the more "tactical" sounding name.
I like the word association as it helps me remember the terms. The last two words I dont know so I chose them last
I like the name Foxtrot, it sounds military/The next professional sounding name/Reason why i choose the last two as last is they were hard to pronounce.
The first two sounded more tactical oriented than the rest. The third choice still sounded tactical a bit, and the last two both sounded made up and not tactical at all.
D feels military. I like it. (from experience)A and C are also fine.B and E are just out. If I wanted Chinese knockoff airsoft junk I'd get this stuff from Amazon. Taiga and Zomp seem like they should be in all caps on Amazon on some Chinese wholesale. Avoid.
D C and A are the best of the 5 - I like D best though. E and B are not that great for names to be honest. I'd go with D then C or A
Words like "Zomp" and "Taiga" don't really appeal to me. "Foxtrot" is a memorable and good term to use for a tactical site, so I would definitely give that one the gold medal.

E shows a high degree of strength and commitment in building a trusty brand.
