What brand name sounds best for a speciality Coffee Roastery?
38 Responses to Option A
Sounds more enthusiastic
Melo, i already seen the Melo Coffee & Kitchen in somewhere, which makes perfect name for speciality Coffee Roastery.
I like Melo as a brand name for a specialty Coffee Roastery. I feel like this brand makes me feel calm but also ready to get going, similar to how I feel in the morning after a good coffee. It is easy to remember for branding purposes also.
As a long time drinker of quality coffee I don't relate to either name but Melo at least insinuates low acidity.
Melo is a much better name for a coffee than Uva. Uva sounds like a body part.
Option a is the only one slightly pronounceable and memorable.
I love the simple word that has a phonetic meaning
I choose A because I just like it quite a bit more than the other one.
I like melo because it sounds like the word mellow. Drinking coffee brings a mellow mood and this name seems to encompass that. Uva sounds like uvula which really isn't inspriring.
Picked a because I think it sounds like a coffee bean.
I like melo because it sounds like mellow, which sounds like a good name for specialty coffee. I don't like uva because it's unclear how to pronounce and would be harder to remember.
I prefer Option A as my first choice. It's more Italian sounding so the association with good coffee is apparent. Even though uva is also Latin sounding it just doesn't seem a right fit and seems it would better be linked to wine.
Option A "Melo" sounds like a relaxing, warm beverage (obvious correct spelling Mellow) and I can see that being a successful name related to coffee. Option B almost sounds like a human body part, so that does not get my vote.
Reminds me of the word “mellow” which is what I want to feel when I sip coffee.
I would prefer Option A. The brand name sounds good and best suitable for this Coffee Roastery which intend users attention with its name.
Sounds kind of like mellow and makes me think of relaxing
Uva sounds like something you'd burn if you drink too hot of coffee. Also, I think the University of Virginia would have a bigger search engine preference, making it hard to find the coffee.
I liked choice A since it isn't a real word but could reference the style and profile of coffee.
i don't really like either one, but UVA sounds like an egg.
I prefer A because Melo reminds me of mellow and smooth. A good smooth coffee
I think this sounds interesting and easy to pronounce.
I like the sound of this more.
I honestly don't like either of the names. For some reason the name of choice B honestly sounds like a private part which would make people laugh. Choice A of Melo sounded close to the soda drink Mello Yello that I was like huh, this is strange as well.
I chose A, because "Melo" makes me think of "mellow," which fits with what I might expect from a specialty coffee roast.
Melo = Mellow, that's sounds nice, warm, toasted, much like good coffee.
I choose A because this name sound very creative and interesting as well
"Melo" sounds more like a coffee brand to me. "Uva" makes me think of eggs or a uterus.
If I saw B, I would be thinking UVA/UVB and sunscreen. A (to me) sounds more like a coffee brand name and roastery.
I like this one it makes it sound more relaxed and would special sound to it when read.
Uva sounds something related to women's health. Melo is not very good but somewhat better.
Melo has a much more pleasant sound
UVA sounds like a woman’s reproductive organs so let’s stick with MELO!
Simple name that would good on packaging.
I felt like Melo made me think about a calm morning and being able to sit and relax, while having a cup of coffee.
this name is smooth and easy to pronounce
I like option A the best because I find the name easy to remember and fits the brand well. The name sounds modern and professional and makes me want to learn more.
A is more attractive to me and the name is much catchy as compared to choice B.
The other name sounds like a body part and not even close to coffee. Melo isn't that great either, but it's better than the alternative.

I prefer option b because I like the way it sounds
It just sounds more unique and special.
Both are different and unique. I would go more towards Uva because I've seen brands similar to Melo.
Uva sounds more modern and unique.
I would pick the name in option B because it sounds fancy. Option A sounds like something for yoga.
I associate the name Uva with a specialty coffee roastery more than the name Melo. It just sounds like it would be related to such a business.
Uva sounds unique and interesting, the other option "Melo" just does not suit coffee to me, I want energy from coffee
I think B looks and sounds more unique. I feel like A is too generic sounding
Neither, but not sure I want coffee that reads "mellow"
I'm not really sure that either of these sound that good out of context however coffee makes you far from mellow so I like the other one better although it looks like UVA
Uva sounds more upbeat which fits coffee better
Both names are not good. I picked option B because it's just a little bit better than option A. Northing about coffee in both names.
