I know what roblox is but at the same time I have not played it

Never heard of it at all.

I am utterly unfamiliar with it. Have never even heard of it. Never seen any of these images.Looks super cute though.

My sons, aged 15 and 19, used to play Roblox. They have not mentioned the game in some time. It was never a game they discussed in great detail like they would other games.

I am quite familiar. I used to play this game as a child. The fact that it is still around is crazy to me. It was fun though and I hear people are still playing it today.

I have never played Roblox but my nephews and siblings all play roblox and like the game a lot. It seems pretty similar to other sandbox games with user input for game modes and maps

I am only vaguely familiar with it. I have a nephew that plays it but I never have.

Definitely heard of it. It is very popular among my kindergarten son and his friends. However, on some of the “gamer channels” (where experienced players film themselves playing the game), Roblox seemed a bit violent to me (one scenario involved a school shooting) so it is now banned in our house. I haven’t played and don’t know many of the “rules”.

I am familiar with the game as I am an avid gamer. That said, I do not like mobile games or online gaming, so it is not a game I personally play.

I think the top competitors are Minecraft and Animal Crossing, which are both mega popular. So Roblox will have a challenge getting a foothold! Just being honest.

Not sure which would be its main competitors except for maybe Minecraft or Five Nights at Freddies. This seems like a big hit overall. So I would definitely think this is the top game between those games for the time being.

The middle three are high quality and look fun.

Roblox’s top competitors are those games that have adventure and a unique sense of puzzle. I would consider the bulk of them inferior to Roblox as they have lesser environmental controls and color schemes.

They look pretty cool. They have some pretty cool landscapes.

I would say mincecraft is the top one.

I think Roblox's top competitor would be the creators of animal crossing and fortnite. I think they compare in the fact you have virtual worlds and can design characters.

Fortnight because the game is the most played game in the world.

Minecraft is still the major competitor to Roblox and is a classic. Roblox is more modern and fun looking and is fresher than Minecraft which is a huge benefit

I think that the men in the orange suits are the top competitors. I say this because they look very agile and able bodied. I think that they would do the best in the game. Overall, this image doesn't give a good view of the other competitors so it's hard to compare them all, but I think the men in the orange would be the best.

I think that Minecraft is probably Roblox’s biggest competitor. They both are pretty simple gameplay but requires lots of imagination.

Epic Games and Minecraft come to mind and they are my preference.

I always think it looks like a minecraft ripoff, so I assume minecraft is competitor. Console games like nintendo switch, playstation, and xbox games, since they are all video games. Probably lots of mobile video games too

Minecraft is the only other game I think it competes with. They both seem similar with the game play. I like them both actually.

Probably the Lego games as they look very similar. Lego has more experience with games too so they are more mature in the gaming industry.

I think the biggest competitors are VR Chat and Minecraft. Minecraft is just more fun because there's a lot more to do and VR Chat is tailored towards adults. I think Robolox falls in terms of being fun.

The graphics look very similar to roblox. The color pallets used in the background look great and look like a fun game to play!

Nintendo, Sony Playstation, and Microsoft XBox all have gaming systems and games that could compete with Roblox. As I don't play this type of game, I can't make more specific comparisons.

It seems mostly related to Legos. I think this looks more unique than the competitor.

I would assume Animal Crossing and The Sims. I think the former do a better looking job.

I think all video games compete with each other, and kids want to play what their friends play. Fortnite is huge right now.

I honestly couldn't tell them apart from the original Roblox since they all look so similar in style and gameplay.

I think their top competitors are Minecraft, the Sims, and Fortnite. Roblox compares favorably because it combines elements of all of them.

For the moment, Minecraft, Terraria, and Fortnite. Not just because of demographic but because the previously mentioned games have all spiked in popularity, Minecraft LPs are starting to trend because of the recent updates, Terraria just got a large content update, and Fortnite is not only nearing the end of its BP season, but they've launched a hangout area. Combine that with Creative mode, and Fortnite is going to start offering what Roblox does, but with better graphics and function. To sum it up, each game is a master of their own respective fields while Roblox remains as a jack of all trades, and its going to be a problem for them.

Minecraft. I think they appeal differently. Most parents start younger kids off on Minecraft and I find it to be appropriate for all ages and a great way to learn this type of gaming. Roblox is a bit more mature and has different content that seems to appeal to kids as they get older

According to my 8-year-old son, Adopt Me, on the bottom left corner, is the biggest competitor because they get the most views.

Out of the brands I am aware of, I believe that Minecraft and Epic Games are included in their top competitors. I am the mother of a 7 year old and I care for other children/students of the same age group. They all talk about Roblox (the most), Epic Games (in reference to games that they maybe shouldn't be playing, like PUBG or Fortnite), and Minecraft. These sites offer sometimes similar, but somewhat different game experiences. There are so many to choose from. Roblox is more for younger children. I believe Minecraft is for people of all ages. Epic Games has game choices that I think are for preteens and teenagers and older, that's my opinion.

I don't believe they ha e any close competitors. This is because I cannot think of any other companies that do anything similar even though I have seen others that do. For me the competition remains nameless.

Minecraft and the lego videogames. The graphics and options are better than minecraft, but things are not as polished as a lego game.

These all seem very rudimentary and uninspiring.

I would say at this time, based on kids/adults I know, it would be minecraft. People really seem to like the challenge of building various cities, etc. and interacting with other aficionados.

Minecraft, sims, animal crossing. All of them are sandbox, get out reality games. They are all equally good with their own audience.

I've never played either of them myself, but I'd say Minecraft is probably Roblox's biggest competitor. Minecraft seems to have more fans, so there's that comparison... Other than that, I'm not sure. I do know I see Minecraft merchandise everywhere I go though, but not much for Roblox. So minecraft must be doing better overall.

Roblox's main competitor is obviously Minecraft, but Roblox is more social and easy for people to interact with strangers in a digital world, which is sometimes concerning for parents. Until recently, games like Fortnite were also a big competitor to Roblox as well because the free-to-play model of Fortnite is very appealing to a lot of kids because they don't have to get their parents to pay a huge upfront cost. As a teacher, I would generally see my students go from a game like Roblox or Minecraft to Fortnite as they got slightly older. Fortnite is dying off in popularity though.

They all look pretty generic the two that stick out the most are the pizzaria and the sci fi themed versions.

Roblox is unique in that it's much more tailored to those who like to create their own games. With that in mind, the biggest competitor would be Minecraft and other sandbox-type games. Minecraft is the most popular out there.

I bet the nerds who play the game all the time are the top ranked in Roblox. I mean, practice makes perfect. If they do it all the time, they must be good.
