I don't have a ton of experience on luluemon's products but I have researched and I have gone to their store to try on a few of their stretch pants. I found the pricing a little to higher for my budget if I can find something just as good at a more reasonable pricing, but they have nice designs.

I think it's a high quality brand but way too overpriced. Why is everything so expensive? It's way too premium and rich for my blood. Great quality but just not worth the price.

Lululemon's athletic wear is the top of the top. It is the best fitting, most comfortable workout attire for any kind of athletic activity! They are pricey, hence the 4 starts, but definitely worth it for the quality they provide.
$0-30k earners, White people, High school graduates, Women, People 25-34 years old
29
Well I've never heard of it before nor do I know what it actually does but I like the logo and considering that's all I have to go on then that's the thing I'm going to use to judge this and give it to the appropriate amount of stars.
$0-30k earners, White people, High school graduates, Men, People 25-34 years old
30
I've never heard of the brand of Lululemon athletica before so I don't think it's a good brand if I've never heard of it so it can't compare with anything that actually has their name out there. it also sounds like a brand that is geared more towards women and I'm a male so I wouldn't use it just because of the name.
Men, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, People 35-44 years old
31
I would think they are very high quality, if you are paying 120 dollars for a pair of leggings then they have to be good. Other than that I would imagine UnderArmour and Nike perform just as good and are more affordable.
Women, $61-100k earners, Bachelor's degree holders, Hispanic people, People 45-54 years old
32
I think it's a credible brand with high quality that is very popular but I don't think the name is that great. It sounds like pokemon.

very good lululemon athletica
People 45-54 years old, Men, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders
37
I have no information about the brand; all there is to judge by is the name and logo which also tells me little to nothing. I've seen nicer designed logos, and 'lululemon' is a name that might work well in non-English speaking households. I hope that helps.
White people, Women, Bachelor's degree holders, $0-30k earners, People 45-54 years old
38
Its a reliable brand and they make quality products. They are the best in the industry.

1
I think they do workout equipment so I am not sure to be honest. I do not dabble with the brand names
Hispanic people, $0-35k income households, Men, People 25-34 years old, High school graduates, $0-30k earners
2
Nike, Adidas, Under Armour. They are well established and comparable to Lululemon In durability and quality.
Graduate degree holders, White people, People 45-54 years old, $35-75k income households, $61-100k earners, Men
3
I would consider any athletic brand a competitor to them, especially companies like dri-fit and nike
White people, Bachelor's degree holders, Men, $0-30k earners, People 25-34 years old
4
Nike, Adidas, Under Armour. I haven't used lululemon so I can't say how it compares
$75-150k income households, People 45-54 years old, White people, $31-60k earners, Men, Bachelor's degree holders
5
Gymshark, adidas, puma, nike, reebook. I think gymshark is the biggest out of them. They are the same level almost.
People 25-34 years old, Asian people, Women, Bachelor's degree holders, $31-60k earners
6
Under Armor comes to mind when I think of a competitor to lululemon. Maybe brands like Nike or Reebok as they make workout clothing as well. Fabletic is another one who's coming to mind.
$150k+ income households, People of other races or ethnicities, Women, Bachelor's degree holders, People 35-44 years old, $101k+ earners
7
I have no idea who they are.
White people, People 35-44 years old, Women, $0-30k earners, Vocational training graduates
8
Nike, Adidas, Under Armour. Lululemon are a smaller brand but they tend to lean more towards the high-end side of the athletic apparel market.
Men, $61-100k earners, Asian people, Graduate degree holders, People 25-34 years old
9
Under Armour. Similar quality and pricing, but I would give the edge to Under Armour in total value.
Men, Bachelor's degree holders, $150k+ income households, Asian people, $101k+ earners, People 45-54 years old
10
I would say LULULEMON's top competitors are more known clothing brands and boutiques.
$31-60k earners, White people, Women, Associate degree holders, People 25-34 years old
11
I'd say Lululemon's biggest competitor is Nike because they are the biggest name right now in the athletic industry. They are more known for their athletic wear, specifically shoes. I do not think, however, that they are huge competition compared to Lululemon because they are not known for their women's workout clothing. Lululemon has essentially cornered the market for yogawear and leggings, and few companies can compare to their quality and popularity.
People 25-34 years old, Women, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders
12
Nike, Under Armour, Adidas are some of the competitors of Lululemon. Under Armour I would say is the one that is closest to Lululemon due to the close characteristics of their clothing lines.
People 25-34 years old, $75-150k income households, Bachelor's degree holders, Men, Black people, $61-100k earners
13
I looked around a little and it looks like they carry a lot of stuff that I would like to have.
Men, People 55-64 years old, White people, Vocational training graduates, $0-35k income households, $31-60k earners
14
nike would be lululemon ahtletica's competitor. they both compare since they both make affordable, durable, and innovative athletic wear for men and women
Black people, $0-35k income households, Women, People 25-34 years old, High school graduates, $0-30k earners
15
The one I can consider a competitor is Fabletics, I have seen that brand advertised heavily. I think they can compare in performance with Fabletics being more affordable. Other than exclusively high-end leggings, then I would imagine UnderArmour and Nike perform just as good.
Women, $61-100k earners, Bachelor's degree holders, Hispanic people, People 45-54 years old
16
Their competitors are other brands that produce athletic apparel, such as Nike, Adidas, and Reebok. I would say that Lululemon is a bit superior to these brands, and has fewer ethical downsides compared to its competitors.
People 25-34 years old, $35-75k income households, Graduate degree holders, $31-60k earners, Women, White people
17
Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Gap, L Brands, prAna, Sweaty Betty, Outdoor Voices, Lolë and PUMA ARE THERE TOP COMPETITORS
People with other gender identities, $0-35k income households, People 45-54 years old, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, $61-100k earners

this website black
Men, $31-60k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, People 35-44 years old

I think Lululemon has a single competitor at this point, Under Armor.
People 45-54 years old, $35-75k income households, $61-100k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, Men
20
i would think all athletic wear companies are competition such as fabletics, nike, under armour for example
Women, $31-60k earners, White people, High school graduates, People 35-44 years old
21
It's difficult to of a competitor that is as expensive but I think Fabletics might be close. Fabletics is more geared towards membership than the typical business model and their clothing tends to be more colorful and bold.
$101k+ earners, Women, Hispanic people, Graduate degree holders, People 35-44 years old
22
i think luluemon has a large variety of competitors, nike, h&m , adidas, etc. As far as how they compare? There are some held in higher regard and some in lower. Just like in any product category. Just maintain a good price with useful products.
$31-60k earners, High school graduates, White people, Men, People 35-44 years old
23
I've never worn any of lululemon products but all of my friends love the products. I would think their competitors would be any company that makes this type of clothing, like Nike, PUMA, Under Armour and lesser known store brands.
Women, $0-30k earners, Asian people, Associate degree holders, People 35-44 years old
24
i think the competitors are not even close to them
$150k+ income households, Hispanic people, Men, Graduate degree holders, People 25-34 years old, $31-60k earners
25
I've never heard of this brand before Lululemon so I don't think they can compare it all to a brand I've heard of
Men, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, People 35-44 years old
26
The skate Hidson line,Nile, target athleisure come ormond. I find themcomparable
Women, $101k+ earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, People 35-44 years old
27
Unfortunately I do not know who their top competitors are as I've never heard of them before. It would probably help you a little bit more information next time. Is with what little I have I searched it myself it would take quite a bit of time. But it all looks good. I do think it's a nice logo.
$0-30k earners, White people, High school graduates, Men, People 25-34 years old
28
Athleta from Gap. It's slightly cheaper and markets towards the same kind of women.
$75-150k income households, Hispanic people, People 25-34 years old, Women, Bachelor's degree holders, $61-100k earners
29
I think any soccer brand in the US would be a competitor.
White people, $150k+ income households, People 35-44 years old, Bachelor's degree holders, Men, $0-30k earners
30
Itsy, ebay, amazon, all are bigger and a bit more popular and affordable.
$35-75k income households, People 55-64 years old, $61-100k earners, Women, Hispanic people, Bachelor's degree holders
31
Lululemon, as an athletic brand, have dozens of different competitors. Their leggings are stylish too, so they have competitors other than athletic brands like Nike and Under Armour, to brands like Victorias Secret to Juicy, to Couture, to even Gucci.
$0-35k income households, White people, Men, High school graduates, $31-60k earners, People 25-34 years old
32
nice lululemon athletica
People 45-54 years old, Men, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders
33
I think the competitors are Nike and under armour and they are going to do okay because they are more niche and not as wide of a brand.
Bachelor's degree holders, White people, Men, $35-75k income households, $31-60k earners, People 35-44 years old
34
Probably other sportswear companies, nike, adidas, under armour. I think they are different. Lululemon is geared toward a different demographic and has a different clientel.
$75-150k income households, People 25-34 years old, Men, $61-100k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders
35
I think adidas and Nike are the main competitors. I think their products are equal quality but not as fancy as lulu lemon. Lulu lemon is more popular with women too.
$75-150k income households, People 35-44 years old, Men, Graduate degree holders, White people, $61-100k earners
36
Not sure about direct competitors.
$35-75k income households, People 25-34 years old, Graduate degree holders, Men, $0-30k earners, Black people
37
I guess other athletic products. Maybe Nike and Reebok. This company is hard to understand.
White people, $150k+ income households, Bachelor's degree holders, People 35-44 years old, $0-30k earners, Men
38
Other activewear and leisure wear companies are the competitors, so this includes brands like Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, and Puma. These brands compare in the way that they sell similar clothings items (shirts, tanks, shorts, leggings, undergarments, shoes, etc.), but sometimes these brands aren't as stylish, durable, and price driven.
$75-150k income households, Men, $31-60k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, People 25-34 years old
39
To me, lululemon's greatest competitor is Athleta. They have a similar asthetic to me, and seem to target the same type of aspirational lifestyle. i consider those two more alike than other more general sports brands like Nike or Adidas.
Women, $150k+ income households, $101k+ earners, Bachelor's degree holders, White people, People 35-44 years old
40
Lululemon's top competitors would include Nike, Adidas, and Victoria's Secret. I think the competitors have a better name recognition, and make a better product.
Hispanic people, $150k+ income households, Men, People 35-44 years old, Bachelor's degree holders, $61-100k earners
41
Outdoor voices, Athleta, Joylab, alo yoga, zella. These brands are similar to lulemon as they sell similar yoga wears and sport clothing.
People 25-34 years old, $31-60k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, Women
42
nike or adidas but they are more sports atheltics
$31-60k earners, Hispanic people, Bachelor's degree holders, Men, People 35-44 years old
43
I hear a lot of people saying they love fabathletics. I have never tried them. I love lululemon and everything they make. There products last forever and look brand new after every wash.
$150k+ income households, Women, $101k+ earners, White people, Associate degree holders, People 35-44 years old
44
I think Lululemon is very high quality but very expensive and not readily available as it has fewer stores and online inventory tends to be harder to buy at times as it has a reputation for being quick to sell out. More affordable and readily available competitor options like the Target C9 brand or Athleta from the Gap/Old Navy companies are more affordably priced alternatives to Lululemon that are nearly comparable in quality in my opinion.
$150k+ income households, People 55-64 years old, Women, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders
45
Nike, under Armor and CK are the best competitor and Nike is the best and have personal experience on this.
$0-30k earners, People 35-44 years old, Women, Asian people, Graduate degree holders
46
fabletec (better) target (cheaper) prana (better) giam (better and cheaper)
White people, Women, Graduate degree holders, $0-30k earners, People 35-44 years old
47
Some of this brands are Gap, Nike and PUMA. They compare well and have a better name recognition with older consumers.
People 55-64 years old, Bachelor's degree holders, $150k+ income households, $61-100k earners, Women, White people
48
I would say Fabuletics and Athletica. I love lulu, although they are expensive. Fabuletics is a good affordable & fun alternative.
People 45-54 years old, Bachelor's degree holders, Women, $101k+ earners, White people
49
Store brands of leggins; I am a man, I wouldn't know.
People 35-44 years old, Men, $31-60k earners, Graduate degree holders, Hispanic people
50
I don't know what they would be... other clothing stores (GAP, something else...?)
Graduate degree holders, $150k+ income households, People 25-34 years old, White people, $61-100k earners, Men

I would describe it as interesting and unique and it has a really nice logo however I dislike that there is not capitalization in the brand name itself.
People 25-34 years old, Men, $31-60k earners, Asian people, Bachelor's degree holders
24
I personally don't have any strong interactions with the brand so I am indifferent to them. I feel they are a very average and basic athletic products company. I know them enough to recognize the brand name, but if I was shown the just the logo of the company I would have no idea who it belonged to. Also, I feel their products are very run of the mill, safe and effective but nothing makes them self defining or noteworthy. I feel the products they sell could be sold by anyone else and nobody would known the difference. As far as the company itself, I don't know what else they contribute to society outside of selling clothes.

35
Pyramid Scheme for Naive huns from your high school, who have gained weight, and their main quality of attractiveness is their thick backside. They looks nice in Leggings, but it is not a reason to sell products which are low quality, made by slaves in a sweatshop, and supports a pyramid scheme. This brand sucks

Lululemon Brand Trajectory

Brands “grow up” and age just like people do.

Some brands in their infancy (Warby Parker, Instagram) seem to pop out of nowhere to dominate their space. Most successful brands follow a natural course and age to become “old” brands (JC Penny, Volvo) that most people associate with a prior generation. But there are a handful of brands (Coca-Cola, Disney) that seem timeless. What’s the secret? Careful management of their brand trajectory.

Brand trajectory is the measurement of a brand’s current and future positioning in its target markets. Brand trajectory is measured via regular customer surveys of brand awareness and positioning. Polls like this one help reveal consumers perception of an established brand, and their opinions on its future prospects.

There might be an increased demand for their product, as more people are working out from home and wearing athleisure apparel around the house during the pandemic. At the same time, their products can be expensive, so they won't be accessible for everyone, especially those experiencing economic hardship.

I think multi-level marketing businesses have a very poor public view right now, and this one is very well known as such. It also carries a bit of a stigma in being associated with suburban housewives--sort of non-stylish and boring, as well as a poorly thought-of business model.
White people, $75-150k income households, Graduate degree holders, Men, People 45-54 years old, $61-100k earners

Retail as a whole is suffering, and with more and more competitors flooding the market, Lululemon needs to do something to distinguish itself.
Men, Bachelor's degree holders, $150k+ income households, Asian people, $101k+ earners, People 45-54 years old

I think Lululemon will continue to flourish because they are most known for their women's athletic clothing and leggings, and cater to the yoga market. Right now their are few other companies that do the same so their is almost no competition in the market.
People 25-34 years old, Women, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders

Lululemon is bascially synonymous with yoga clothing. It has a strong base in the yoga community because of its connections with teachers
$75-150k income households, Hispanic people, People 25-34 years old, Women, Bachelor's degree holders, $61-100k earners

Other than exclusively high-end leggings, I cannot think that with the economy the way it is people are clamoring to buy them. In thinking of work-out gear, I would imagine UnderArmour and Nike perform just as good and are more affordable.

Lululemon was and is a pyramid scheme. These types of companies do not last, and they have been lowering the quality of their products. Especially with the coronavirus pandemic, I believe they are totally done.

Well just like with anything in this country you really don't know. I don't even know if this is from this country. But my point is that nothing can last forever unless you're Disney or something. So who knows.

With out more background, I'm not really sure what the symbol in the middle is for. Is it a pair of legs (they were big on legging's) or is it a woman with white hair that curls up at the end? I'm having trouble distinguishing what it would have to do with athletics.
Men, $101k+ earners, White people, High school graduates, People 35-44 years old
33
lululemon athletica is good
People 45-54 years old, Men, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders
34
I think lululemon has great future prospects because they have a well made product that people love. The only draw back is the cost unfortunately and it leaves out people at a lower price point. Overall I think what the offer is great.
$75-150k income households, Bachelor's degree holders, $101k+ earners, White people, Women, People 25-34 years old
35

I think they have found their market and figured out the people that are interested in their products.
$75-150k income households, People 25-34 years old, Men, $61-100k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders
38
I think they have an incredibly strong brand but are a bit too overpriced
Graduate degree holders, $150k+ income households, People 25-34 years old, White people, $61-100k earners, Men
39
in regards to Lululemon athletica future prospects, I could see them excelling in the female athletic space, because their name mites attract some women who are starting to workout. I think their future prospects may be decent. I'm a little confused on why they have a food product in their name if it is an athletic company.
Men, $0-30k earners, White people, Bachelor's degree holders, People 35-44 years old
40
This type of clothing will continue to be in demand

Everything about Lululemon is great. People will always work out. I love their products and will continue to support them.
$150k+ income households, Women, $101k+ earners, White people, Associate degree holders, People 35-44 years old
45
I feel that Lululemon faces a uphill battle because they have tough competition from established brands such as Nike and Adidas. Also, I've heard that they have made apparel with very little fabric which makes the apparel have a shorter life.
Hispanic people, $150k+ income households, Men, People 35-44 years old, Bachelor's degree holders, $61-100k earners
46
I think they will still do ok. But their appeal is to a certain demographic and I feel that a lot of women who would otherwise use their products feel left out and ignored. I know I like Lululemon but their clothing is not really right for someone of my age and body type. Because their focus is narrow, I don't think they will grow too much.
Women, $0-30k earners, High school graduates, White people, People 55-64 years old
47
People are likely to want to pursue yoga and exercise for improved health and if they can afford it and find it, Lululemon clothes are motivating to do the exercises and look stylish/good while working out. But with many out of work or reduced work options it seems less likely people will be able to afford this brand and will seek more affordable alternatives or make do with clothing they already have for working out.
