Which subtitle is more appealling?
Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 32 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
B | 44% 22 votes | 50% 25 votes +3 | 64% 32 votes +7 |
C | 22% 11 votes | 26% 13 votes +2 | 36% 18 votes +5 |
D | 20% 10 votes | 24% 12 votes +2 | Eliminated 12 votes reassigned |

A sounds more informative and seems more likely to have objective information. D sounds gimmicky.
A sounds like it covers more bases than just the generic stock guide I expect in the others. Not sure if it delivers on that, but it stands out to me because of it.
Option A. I think that using the term 'guide' is more attractive as it will ensure that the possible reader knows that they will learn the trade and be taken step by step towards success.
The word "Tradecraft" in A is intriguing. B is snappy and catchy. D is succinct but generic, and C is just generic.
A feels like it is going to give you a skill, the other's seem gimmicky
I feel that most of these are slightly too long, but A is by far the most reasonable.
Ranked according to which titles sounded the most professional to me personally

I want it to be simple and easy to make money in the stock market. That seems like the clear winner.
Simplicity in steps to getting good stock picks is an intriguing and solid title in option B here
I CHOSE BE BECAUSE ITS SIMPLY AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND.
These all seem very gimmicky, but B the least-so. I don't think I would seriously consider any of them.
B seems the most appealing. It gets right to the point.
I like B and D the most because I feel like the wording is very easy to understand.
I think that option b is both the most clear and the most interest catching.
Option B identifies the most relatable phrase that would make me buy the book compared to the other options.
I think simple steps is the best in these options because everyone that's wanting to learn something, especially something that has a learning curve to it, will want to have simple steps to learning the stock market and being able to spot investments that are good to invest in.
The friendlier the better, words like "professional" or "guide" make it seem hard to understand or might take a long time. the word "simple" makes it seem easy and quick.
The Simple Steps to Identify Winning Stocks is the easiest to read and understand
Option B is the easiest to understand for most people .
I don't really like the subtitle with the word "Tradecraft" because it doesn't seem like something that I would consider reading. My first choice was selected because it makes it easy for me to understand what this book is about. I felt my 2nd and 3rd were both good, and I ranked them based on how much they stood out. My 2nd choice makes more sense and is a little easier to comprehend.
I think B sounds really nice, given that it's talking about concrete steps when looking at stocks. A is a close second because a guide to stocks and how to get into them would be really helpful.
B i like how it's worded and it sounds pretty good in general in my opinion and i think it's pretty catchy as well i think, D i think is pretty good for the most part but i think it would be better if it was worded so it flowed better, A is a bit long winded but still good i think and as a title is fairly attention grabbing, C is alright but i think it could be worded to be a little more interesting but other than that its fine for the most part if a little long winded
Option B because I feel like i I am learning something and the same for option C
I like option B the best because I like how the subtitle "The Simple Steps to Identify Winning Stocks" is very easy to understand what a reader will get out of reading the book.
B is very simple and preferable by everyone, D is very catchy, A and C is bit high level,
B sounds the least "buzzwordy". I mean seriously, tradecraft? Is that even a real word?
B is simple and straight to the point and doesn't use buzz words or phrases.
Option B is the most memorable and catchy. I think Option C sounds well informed and trustworthy. And Option D sounds slightly better than A.
"The Simple Steps to Identify Winning Stocks" is the best catch for me because it is simple and comprehensive.

I ranked in the order that the titles feel the least like clickbait.
Professional aspects matter, and Options C and D sounded like they both came from experts.
I prefer the option C subtitle text because I like the professional framework idea and pick great stocks objective of this text the most. I chose options A and B second and third because I like the guide to investing subtitle more than the simple steps description of this book subtitle. I chose option D last because I do not like the comma separated phrases used in this subtitle text at all.
C and B sound the most interesting and simple to understand. I like A the least because "investing tradecraft" sounds complicated. I like C the best, because "picking great stocks" is simple and easy to understand.
Option C seems like a business class and education sharing subtitle. That it uses professional language to represent a goal I could achieve is a positive to me. It isn't overselling or using trendy language.
The Professional Framework to Pick Great Stocks sounds very intuitive and appealing.
I like the subtitle in option C the best. I like how it uses the word "Framework" which makes the information sound high quality and useful.
I like C it makes it seem more realistic and that the framework will help me better.
I picked C, B and A as my top choices as the slogans feel like they are the best to use.
The like a pro bit feels gimmicky, I like the professional framework one
I picked based on what sounded the most awarding to me. I don't quite understand A, never heard of tradecraft. It can also just be about how to invest in stock, not about finding good stocks. I want to know how the pros pick the best stocks.
10 Responses to Option D
Option D and B are more marketing oriented, so they may be the best.
D gives you the information you need to make an informative decision instead of "winning stocks" sounds bland and basic.
D is very professional and to the point, uses strong positive language as well, makes it seem more capable.
I like option D the best because it grabs my attention. It grabs my attention because I want to empower my finances and I want my money to work for me. Option C is a close second because it sounds logical and realistic. The other two options did not appeal to me.
D was the best to me because it seemed like the most powerful and made you want to do it. B was the second best because it seemed easy for me to follow. C was the third best because I liked how it said professional framework. A was the worst to me because it seemed like the most boring and least appealing
Option D sounded the most helpful. Option B and A sounded okay for a title. Option C sounded the most weak of the titles.
Option D has the best subtitle because it involves some important topic: empower your finances and this is something that I would like to do as a pro.
D IS SIMPLE, TO THE POINT, AND POWERFUL. EVERYONE WANTS TO PICK STOCKS LIKE A PRO.
The phrasing seems ideal and simple. I'm drawn towards simple sentences and marketing elements that make sense at a distance.
I prefer option D because I think that it is the most interesting, attention-grabbing, and overall the most appealing subtitle out of the four options.
