Which book would you rather read?
Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 30 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
A | 38% 19 votes | 60% 30 votes +11 |
B | 32% 16 votes | 40% 20 votes +4 |
C | 30% 15 votes | Eliminated 15 votes reassigned |

The title in A sounds fun and unique. It is the only one that really held my attention
The titles that are mostly creative include shorter themes and a brief amount of text beyond the colon. These appear to be sequels or one story in a series of adventures, which are mostly satisfactory.
I like the starkness of A, so it's my first choice. I don't know who Perry is and don't have any attachment to them, so B is my second choice and C is my third.
I like A and B's title more than C as I don't like, for whatever reason, that it uses a character name. I opted for A over B because of the minor difference of liking the brevity and more ambiguous nature of it's title.
A sounds like the best title to me
This title is very intriguing and makes me wonder who is forsaken. I get the idea of someone being forsaken without having to say "soul forsaken." No need to make the title longer than necessary.
The Other Side of Dead: Forsaken is the best title as it sounds ominous and attracts me as a horror fan. B is similar, though the shorter subtitle flows better. C is not the type of title I would really be drawn to, or that would stand out to me.
I chose option A because the title was the most succinct, the other two titles seemed a little superfluous.
I like the forsaken theme of it all. I like A just because it feels simple. Soul Forsaken seems a little dramatic. Perry's demise seems like it reveals too much.
Forsaken is short, sweet, and too the point.
A sounds best because it sounds forbidden and mysterious, B is a reiteration and also a good alternative and flows well off the tongue, and C is intriguing but not as good i would read this last.
I prefer option A because it sounds the most intriguing and interesting to me. Option B and c are just okay to me.
The one that says forsaken is simple and sounds interesting. Soul forsaken is a bit longer but okay. Perry's demise makes no sense, because we don't know who Perry is yet.
I like a title that is intriguing but still leaves a little something to guess about the book.
A and /or B - they make sense to me more because I don't know who Perry is in C and not sure that it makes me want to know him
This title makes me think that the other side of dead means to be forsaken. Or it could be a second book in a series.
I like the one that says forsaken. Choice B is okay too, but I like just plain forsaken. Choice C sounds a little too morbid.
Option A because it's simple and mysterious.
A sounds mysterious and b does too. C is meh because at this point I don’t know or care who perry is

Soul forsaken and forsaken are just cool titles and make me excited to read the book Perry's demise doesn't mean all that much to me unless this is a sequel to a previous book in which case I would already know who the character Perry is and why his demise would matter to me
seems more interesting and intriguing to me which catches my attention and lets me think about what it could be about
B has an immediately strong and appealing design that really pulled me in. It also reminds me of the underworld type of books which I love like Dante's Inferno
I think both forsaken's sound really good compared to Perry's demise, and soul forsaken sounds the best.
I think this option seems to have more of a backstory
Option B is the most memorable among the choices. It rolls off the tongue easily, and does a great job at giving enough information to make me want to know more.
I think that option B sounds the most interesting.
Without knowing more about the book, these are the only choices i could make.
B and A sounds cool. B is longer. C is whatever because I don't know who Perry is.
I like the two "Forsaken" options best.
I think the use of soul means that there is something beyond the death. The other 2 options don't really imply that it is continuing beyond the death.
C is last simply because with both dead and demise in the title, it's redundant. B first because the word soul makes it deeper, darker seeming.
Soul Forsaken sounds really intriguing to me so I would like to pick it up and browse it
All of these are very good. I did favor B a little more. I think that "The Other Side of Dead: Soul Forsaken" sounds like a great read.
The Other Side of Dead: Soul Forsaken has a more distinctive and exciting sound to it
B- This one would really capture my curiosity and I would want to know more about the story, C- this one sounds really interesting too, I wonder what happens to Perry? A- this one is a little generic but still is interesting

I like the name in option C the best for a book. I like how it includes a person's name which makes me interested to learn more.
I like that this talks about someone’s demise. It is usually interesting to read about where someone screwed up and what went wrong with them. I think that A flows better than B and the extra word isn’t needed
I like C because it makes me wonder who Perry is and I want to learn more. Forsaken is also an interesting title, but "Soul Forsaken" sounds odd to me and I'm not sure what it would be about.
I picked the titles that I found most interesting for the type of genre they seem to be.
Having a person's name in the title tells me this is fiction and it just feels more engaging to know there is a character involved.
Perry's demise has a specific quality that draws me in, a mystery: who is Perry? Forsaken is generic and soul forsaken is too wordy.
My rankings are based on the book I would rather read. My top choice is Option C. I would like to learn more about Perry and what led to his or her, demise.
I ranked my choices based on what I felt was the most descriptive title.
Option C is my first choice. It just sounds more interesting as there is a actual "name " connected to the title. It also seems less ominous and deliberately scary. The remaining options are perfectly fine but not as eye catching and seem a little shock for the sake of shock . Their titles sound ugly and frightening and not in a good way.
Seems more intriguing and about someone or a specific character.
Made my choices based on which book I would rather read and based on which books seems to be interesting to read.
C, because it sounds like a mystery thriller. A, because it arouses my curiosity, I want to seehow it iwas "forsaken." And B, because it sounds like some horror or fantasy novel.
I chose C first since it contains a person's name. I thought it might be a more personal-type story. My second choice was a. I generally prefer shorter titles for book. By process of elimination. B is third choice.
Naming the character intrigues me, where as soul forsaken is to long
I like C because I think Perry's demise sounds the most interesting. It gets my attention first because I want to know what his demise is.
