I like the M for M sort of way of saying this title and it would be an interesting read for the map
name makes me more curious compared to the other option
A Map for Murder sounds much more intriguing to me. Like is it a map to do a murder? Or a map to find a murder. Lots of directions to take based on that title.
I like them both, but this one rolls off the tongue much easier
this one just generally sounds more intersting. there is always the haunting at so-and-so or the murder at so-and-so
i like a map for murder, i think it's a better name over all, simple and understandable
A sounds a lot more intriguing and exciting
I chose A because the name Packsaddle Mountain just does not roll off the tongue well and sounds uninteresting.
A has a much more mysterious and intriguing title
A Map For Murder sounds more intriguing and exciting to me, it seems like there's more adventure and exploration
I liked the alliteration of the title and the title itself sounded more intriguing/mysterious to me personally.
alliteration works well in a title and its just more intriguing with a simpler title
I choose A because "Packsaddle" is a bit of a mouthful, and you want book titles to be easy to remember.
A is my preferred choice because of the uniqueness of the title and the content of book title is matureand will call more attentions to it, it a beautiful idea of title for the book and it is pleasant to the eyes
This came down to the fact that it took my brain a second to process the work "packsaddle" I really don't like titles that don't flow well.
The book I would buy is option A because the title send the concept that it would show me how the Murder was committed whereas option B would tell about the murder at Packsaddle Mountain.
This scenario makes me more interested as I would think it's about a whole set of murders.
A has a way more unique name. B sounds like other book and movie titles and all that.
I am intrigued by both titles! The map concept pulls me in even more than the other option though, plus the map idea goes so well with the murder mystery genre. And to be honest Packsaddle Mountain makes me think of a horse ranch environment and I don't want to think about horses and murders together. But I'd hope no horses are in peril in the book. Option A piques my interest without giving me any feeling of dread the way option B slightly does.
If it was a about a murder that spanded over severel locations than yes.
I like the simplicity of the title. It's a shorter title that gets the topic and theme across quickly and effectivly. I don't get lost in the title which I like too.
It has a more concise title and the alliteration will help people remember it. Plus it makes me wonder about what the book is about.
I would buy option A book, option A book is well titled and well described. The description of option A is easier to understand.
This simple title is vague enough to provide some detail for the potential reader and is attractive enough to appeal to a variety of interests.
Option A sounds more engaging and interesting to me. Option B sounds too specific.
The flow of the words is much more interesting. Packsaddle Mountain sounds like a bit of a joke.
It seems to fall in line with current shows regarding the subject of true crime shows.
This title just sounds so much more mysterious and intriguing. This kind of title makes me want to read this book, it is cheesy but a cool kind of cheesy.
A sounds more playful and hints at the theme of the book (hiking, exploring, etc.), while B is just a straightforward fact, and "Packsaddle Mountain" doesn't mean anything to me or convey any additional information so it doesn't hold my attention.
I chose A because A Map for Murder has sort of a Hitchcock vibe to it. I feel it is much more intriguing and just rolls off the tongue. Option B is a mouth full.
I would buy option A, "A Map for Murder", because the title puts off a mysterious, eery and sinister vibe. It is more subtle in describing the events that it might contain, whereas "Murder at Packsaddle Mountain" directly presents the book events, and it's a quite generic title.
i like the illiteration in choice a, in my opinion that makes it sound better than choice b
A is straightforward and easy to interpret and understand.

sounds more mysterious and alluring
this one seemed more descriptive
I like that this title gives me a setting and is just more unique. A Map for Murder is too generic and I would probably skip over it if I was browsing for something new.
This option gives more of a clue what it is about.
options B title sounds more intriguing
It's simultaneously the more mysterious and interesting title to me even though they have the same general theme.
Option B sounds more mysterious and almost sets a scene. Option A is kind of generic and sounds a bit old fashioned.
I prefer choice B because it gives you a location on where the book might be based on.
by the sound of it, it looks more specific a story
While the title doesn't sound amazing, it does tell you a lot more about the book, which is nice.
This one seems like it gives a better idea of what to expect.
I like the sort of old timey name, Packsaddle is fun to read and say.
Giving an actual name makes it more personal and scary, which is good.
This book sounds interesting for a middle schooler. I would buy it for the kids.
I like option B the best because the Packsaddle Mountain reference really makes it sound intriguing.
I think this one sounds so much more intriguing. It evokes images of the place, the mountain, makes me wonder what the people are like there, etc. It just sounds mysterious and exciting. The other one is open to so many themes and interesting.
I feel like Option A has been used before, it doesn't sound original. Option B sounds super interesting and unique.
