I like this one the best, I would buy the book and read it from the description sounds in this one. It draws you into it to make it interesting.

A is the best because it is engaging immediately from the start. C is too long and detailed for a simple blurb.

option A is full of suspense and thrilling, I wuld really prefer it as it would make a user want to read the book and find out more about twhat actually happened

Mentioning the biggest mistake intrigues me. I want to know more about the repercussions of this mistake.

I picked A (and to a slightly lesser extent, B) because they were shorter than C.

I find A to stand out because its a nice short synopsis, but it seems to go with the darker thriller vibe that the cover gives me.

I like the hook near the opening of blurb A "...until her eldest daughter is accused of murder." Wow, what?I found blurb C quite boring. It lost my interest.

I think "A" gets to the point the quickest, so I went with that as my first choice. "B" is OK, but doesn't sound relatable, I got "A" right away. "C" just takes way too long to get to the point.

I don't like engagingly being the star of the title. That aside, C is too long and too vanity driven. A gets right into the story. B starts off a little too vague, even for a synopsis.

I chose the options that seemed most approachable and relatable. I like to be told the gist of the story upfront, and I appreciate a summary that includes information other than that it's sexy.

I ranked in the order that the blurbs made me want to read the book or raised my interest in the author.

I like how it starts out talking about Ella's biggest mistake. That line draws me in right away. It gets my attention first over the other two.

I put the book descriptions in A, B and C order. I really like A. I think it's realistic. I actually think it's more realistic than then the others. A makes me want to read it.

I prefer option A. I sucks you in with down to earth store telling. The leading character is very relevant and easy to identify with. I like the style of writing best on option A.

Option A makes me want to read it more, I like the way it starts out and it makes the book sounds interesting. Option B is pretty good too, I like how it's worded. I don't like option C as much as the other 2 since it doesn't really start out talking about the contents of the book and it's a little lengthy.

I like the set-up right off the bat on Option A. It instantly entertains me and gives me a feel for what I think the energy of the book will be like. It's got some humor to it and that is what I would lean towards as far as making a purchase. Option B also starts with a somewhat humorous lead in but it doesn't have the same tone...it reads a little more like an old sitcom in the lead-in. It's not bad, but it's not as entertaining as A. Option C didn't really interest me - it loses me early on with the reference "sure to be a blockbuster" - I want to know about the story before I want to know about everything else. But I do like the final paragraph that is written for all three choices (especially about the 80s/90s references).

B has the most exciting text and it really catches my interest. C and A are okay but the overall text just doesn't really pop the same way.

Wow, I would love to read this book!! I found option B to be the best combination of professional synopsis and entertaining writing, with C a bit too formal, and A a bit too informal~yet all are well written and have my full attention and intrigue!!

B does a good job of giving small themes and information, but not saying too much and it sounds intriguing. A sounds intriguing, but leaves out too much information to be all inclusive on what you are in for, without spoiling it of course. I don't like that C mentions another story. If you aren't familiar with the author or story it wouldn't make sense to you and it would be irrelevant.

Option B seems very realistic. There are parts of it that are fictional, but many readers will relate to the female protagonist's state of mind. Many will identify with the characters. Option B will definitely make me want to find out more.Option A is a good description, but it does not get one's pulse going like Option B.Option C is tantalizing. The mention of Paris will draw many readers in but I find it a bit too fantastic. Option B feels real.

I picked my first option because I feel like it immediately captures your attention in the first line. It gives you what the drama of the story is immediately without giving too much away. It sucks you in which then leads you into the rest of the description.

The option that opens with the hints of a love triangle is the tightest and most interesting, in my opinion. The one that opens with a blurb for the author is fine, although a bit long-winded. The one that opens by referencing ella's biggest mistake is...not good. Poorly written, confusing timeline, just no on that one please.

I picked the description in B because it's the most conveying and expressive of what the book is and it's purpose. The summary matches up with the overall ambiance of the cover, "Engagingly Dead," with a description of the main character being caught up in a murder and other action packed drama. It presents itself without being overly wordy.I picked A because it's similar to A but doesn't open up as strong. The beginning with "Thinking life would be easy once her daughters have all grown up and moved out… until her eldest daughter is accused of murder" changes tones by talking about a wedding and catering. It can be kind of confusing but it still gets the message across once you get past the start. I picked the summary description in C last because it doesn't really describe the same storyline plot points as the other one but an entirely different genre and tone. It doesn't really scream murder and action/drama as much as the other two. It does have a lot of punch words like being a book behind a best selling author but it's too wordy to draw a person in.

Option C grabs my attention immediately by starting out with "Bestselling Author..." In fact, the whole first paragraph is very entertaining and make me want to read on for information. Next, I like Option A due to it starting out with a question, which grabs my attention immediately.

I like long descriptions that are detailed because I want to know as much as I can about the book before I get into it. I also like the fact that it describes some background about the author, which tells me a bit about the genre.

Maybe Im more of a literary type but (i did *almost* major in english lit) so i like wordiness in general; but I like to have some background on the author, and really i think most people would be impressed by her/him having abestseller already- so in the event that. a random person just arbitrarily picks this up or clicks onto it they will know the author is a bestselling one so they'd be more inclined to read it than just based on the synopsis.

I picked C because it put the sequence of events in somewhat chronological order. I could follow who the main character was and the other players in the bood. Both B and A were very confusing. They started off ok describing a mother with grown childredn but skipped around so much between the murder and catering storylines I wondered if the text had been mixed. Additionally choice A was missing some punctution which is a major pet peeve of mine. If you miss a period in the book description how many typos are inside the book?

C is the most engaging. It basically tells you that you will love this book and that the author is well known (even if you don't personally know of him) and it describes the plot once we know what type of book it is. A is my least favorite because it starts with referencing a mistake....and what every woman wants, even though this book sounds anything but ordinary. B is kind of in between. It is appealing enough to consider reading, but it doesn't pull me in like C.

I like the description more than others. It is well-written.

I enjoyed hearing a little bit about the author along with a great description of what to expect in the book. It sounds like a book along the same lines as Sue Grafton's novels, which I love. This also sounds like a book that would be right up my alley.

I like that Option C leads with the return of the author, to remind me that I have read other books from them.

Option C is the most to the point and starts strong with references. I would buy from that author. I like the beginning of option A but the description is boring.

This is written by beating around the bush a little - which I prefer when there is such a morbid subject.
