I wouldn't be interested in a young adult book, but I find that this one is more descriptive and interesting at first glance.
A is a bit more descriptive and clearer to me. I would probably not buy this since a young adult fantasy book is not my preferred genre, but I might buy it as a gift.
A gives me a better idea of the stakes Felix is facing. B shows he might die if he rebels but there's not enough detail to indicate a *reason* he'll die beyond just "rebellion == dangerous".
I'd take this one Felix sounds like the more central roll of the story with the dragon gods I think this 1 has more adventure but I do like both of them
Option "A": I found this the more engaging narrative synopsis comparatively with more meaningful detail and a storyline that is compelling. My first sci-fi book was an teen charcter driven Andre Norton book as a teen, so I have a love for the genre even if not as much of a reader at this age.
I prefer A because it provides more background context and setup. Even though it is a young adult book, I might consider it, although I would want it to have some challenging themes included.
A gives a nice opening that makes you want to know more about the book. The details are somewhat vague but gives enough to make you invested in the story.
I think that Option A is very descriptive without giving away too much information. It sounds intriguing and makes me want to learn more.
I am not opposed to reading young adult fantasy if its well written with a good storyline. I also thought the set up in A was more intriguing and it is more relatable in my opinion.
Choice A is the one that I would rather buy because I like how it tells me a bit more about the backstory between the human and the dragon gods. I like how it mentions that their war ended in a treaty to give a backstory behind why they rule with an iron fist. I also like how it mentions that this world has been drilled into his rebellious mind to give a contrast for how he is different from those around him. This book being a young adult book would not turn me off from buying it at all. If it is a good book it is something I would be interested in reading regardless of who the target audience is supposed to be.
This story sounds more personal and sounds like it would help me connect with the main character to a greater degree.
A is much more logical and well written. Even though they seem to describe the same story, A put it together in a way that makes a lot more sense. So I might ready A, but probably not B.
Option A is a much better, more eloquent, and very informative description of the main character, the world he lives in, and the overall storyline that will take place within the book. Option B does not flow well and makes the book sound much more juvenile and boring.
Both descriptions are good and have slightly different information about the story, like the dragon God appearing in B. A edged out B for me because I gained a better sense of Felix with reference to his inventive mind and a better grasp on the society with references to obedience being drilled in childhood.
I prefer the book excerpt from option A compared to option B's excerpt. I found it it easier for me to read and get capitavted.
chosen synopse is far more likely to cause interest. The other is perfunctory and generic.
1. I like description of option A better because it gives more information about the book.2. I would not buy because it is a Young Adult book, and I'm retired.
The description in option B is just a little too vague for me to make a purchase decision without previous experience with the author. Option A gives me enough info regarding the story (which is a lilttle complicated) to interest me in the book's narrative. I also like the focus on Felix's personal struggles in Option A.
i don't read this book category but A has a more elaborate description which makes it more attractive
I don't read much young adult fiction, but I found A better as it quickly established the world and the situation. That's important in fantasy and A does a better job than B in that regard. I think it sounds intriguing overall.
A I feel is more descriptive which is able to draw my interest more to the description.
A: I like the whole concept, it's got some nice ideas. I get wanting rebelling but I feel like both descriptions lack any sense of what Felix would actually DO with the freedom he desires. I also dont quite get what the Dragons get out of this relationship.B: This one kind of packs in many different ideas and it gets a bit confusing and less interesting.
I like the plot the best in Option A, it seems to have the best and most intricate plot and best character development.
I prefer A because it talks about the character in more depth by referring to his inventive mind.
I think Option A is better because it gives a little more context and makes the main character seem more relatable right away, whereas in B it just kind of sounds like Felix just wants rebellion for the heck of it in the first sentence.
A gives more general information about the plot, and B gives more specific information it seems to me. The more general information makes me want to get the book. Just shocking plot events like B seems to contain are not enough for me to pick up a book. I need to really know what a book is about before I take a chance on it.
A sounds adventurous and interesting. I like how it seems more character-centric.
Option A is the best because the caption and story description is well written and simple to understand.
It seemed to contains less cliched turns or phrase.
A provides a bit more background, and does a better job at world-building. It's a bit more wordy, but this just helps to flesh out the summary beyond "And then this happened, and then this happened." It introduces us to the core concepts of the book without giving too much away. Option A reads like a back-of-book blurb, option B reads more like a book report written by a teenager.
I feel the additional detail given in this is better and overall gives a better sense of what it's about. It also grabs my attention better.
There is so much more content packed in option A. Option B leave way too much out of the story to make me interested. Why are there dragons and people and what is the rebellion. Option A explains that so much better and gives me a better understanding of the book and I would look into it more.
I think overall A has less religious type overtones. I would be more inclined to give A a try.
A goes into more details and is written better I feel.
I think that A sounds more interesting. I feel like it sounds a bit more adult.
this one sounds more persuasive got my attention alot more i would pick A story is interesting
I like choice A more as it has more of a character devlopment aspect of a blurb which I o the character.t makes me feel more invested into the character.
the description of the story is more detailed and easier to understand, it also flows better to the reader.
This paints a better description.
Option A is way more descritive and pulls me into the story right away.
A seems both more active and has more plot/lore details.
A made more sense and had a more fluid sound to it and was more fun to read.
Option A is a much better written synopsis, the questions raised in it actually make me curious. Option B, on the other hand, it too straightforward and even derivative.
A feels far more vivid and brings me into the world, the other option is just a lot more "typical" and sort of bland almost
A felt a bit more mature, with more internal conflict for the character exposed to the reader. B feels more formulaic and superficial.
I wouldn't buy the book but my top choice has a much stronger narrative than the other option. It does a better job of setting up the story's conflict as opposed to the other choice which simply throws a lot of lines of information at you without stating any real narrative.
I think A is more descriptive and brings out the fantasy more. I think the dragon is badass and destructive and sounds cool
This description of the book is more detailed and uses more mature language that makes it seems like it would be more appropriate for my age group. It is easier to tell that B is geared towards a younger audience. If I knew it was a young adult book, I would almost certainly not buy either one.
Choice A is written in a clear, concise, and descriptive way. A does a much butter job of describing the world the story takes place in, and paints a picture this reader could easily visualize. Choice B does not read smoothly, and fails to describe the story and background in a way that would make me want to read this book. I typically do not read this type of novel.
Option A adds a little more background, doing a better job hooking me and making me interested in what would happen to Felix much more. I'm fine reading young adult books, and actually really enjoy them.
The description for option A is much more detailed than for option B. Option B has limited amounts of information with which to decide if this is the kind of story that I would want to continue reading. The limited amount of information makes me feel like a less informed consumer when I am reading option B compared to option A. I chose option A as the story I would rather buy because it increased my curiosity about the story when I read the description and I wanted to learn how the rest of the story would conclude. The description for option A was written better with respect to syntax and the structure of the story and so that also is part of the reason for why I would prefer to read the story of option A. I would buy it because it is a young adult fiction book since that is a genre that I have read many books from and so it's certainly a genre with good stories that have been told. I like that option A explains the political realities of the world better than option B does, the history provides a lot of context for the motivations of the characters in the story and that's something that I found to be interesting about the description of option A. I like the vocabulary that was used for the writing of option A, the word choice was excellent at establishing the uniqueness of the story.
I pick A, Because when I read into the description the story is interesting and more fun to read and I can imagine the fantasy on it, If I would not buy a young adult fantasy book because it will not pick my interest and will not motivate me to read.
A gives more information and is more in depth
Option A sounds like a better way to put the story. I don't want the whole story spoiled in the intro. I like surprises.
I like the layout of this one more, and I think that it would be a better one to use
Gives me a more complete view of the story and the first paragraph gets my attention better to keep reading the rest of the description

Shorter but seems more descriptive
i think this one reads as more of an everyman story, of coming of age in a place you think needs change
I like the description in option B better as it makes the story sounds more interesting and thrilling.
This description is quicker to get to the point. It paints a good view of the story without giving away too much. It's just enough to get me interested and want to find out more about the main character.
This description creates intrigue to the characters and I find it the shorter description is easier to read
I ultimately decided on Option B because it felt a little bit more like there was a competition that ultimately brought Felix and the Inquisitors to that moment. It was just a little more clear than Option A, though I did like the way that framed the history a little better. As for Young Adult books, I do not typically seek them out. I find they can be a bit too constrained and limited; though they can have wonderful stories and universes.
I like the sound of this story and would be interested in it. Though i have not bought a young adult book in a long while there is no reason i would not if the story compelled me and this one seems interesting
Option B explains the story in a bit more succinct fashion and is more compelling as compared to Option A, but that preference is not super strong and both are solid.
I think that option B is more concise and written in a more positive manner. The description is more exciting.
Book preview sums up everything in less words, making it more likely for the person to read the whole thing. The other option I feel like is a bit too wordy for my tastes.
I like option B because it does a better job of explaining what the book is about without seeming like just a list of events. B seems more like a trailer to a movie compared to A which seems like it just states what happens in the book. As a side note I also think the book sounds really interesting and that it would be a great read.
I like B because it is more to the point. A has too much background information and it takes me away from the immersion right away. B could use some more polishing but at least jumps into Felix and why I care about him.
I prefer the shorter summary in choice B. Its more to-the-point and direct. I found it more interesting and it required less effort to understand and get interested
Basically the only difference in the story seems to be the mention of religion in the other version which I am not a huge fan of, and I think a ton of people will avoid solely because of that. Even religious people will not like that it is in the same sentence as dragon gods. This version is a bit better because it does not include that part. That said, at my age it is very unlikely i would like a young adult book unless it is very very good.
I prefer this one mainly because it leads with a question. I think that would entice people to read so they can find the answer.
B is much easier to understand and follow. A jumps around too much and is not a focused enough explanation for me to want to read the book
The first paragraph caught my attention to the story far more than the other.
I'm really not digging either story. I think it would be better suited as a generic fantasy novel and not try to be young adult. Other option is to lose the fantasy element in my opinion.
I liked choice B since it sounds appealing and isn't as long winded and more direct. Choice A sounds more plain and it is lengthy and not as appealing.
I voted B for content alone. However A was much better organized with paragraph breaks and grammar. B initially turned me off because of poor editing. Only in comparison of content did I decide for it.
They both sound pretty good, but I like the shorter version better. I probably wouldn't read a YA book, but plenty of younger people would.
B is a little easier to understand. It makes the book seem more interesting and exciting
Option B is pretty good, it's compact, but there's still enough there to get me interested and involved in the story.
Between the two different options of the book description, I decided that I would much rather choose option b. First of all, I thought that it was a very interesting marketing tactic to start the description off with a question. I thought this was extremely creative and it was also very smart. This really made me feel like I was involved in the story process and that I was a vital role in the story itself. Second, I also appreciated that the description was a little bit shorter when compared to option a. I typically want book descriptions to just basically walk me through a little bit of the story, but not to give everything away. I appreciate the much shorter description as this allowed me my own free will to figure out if I really did want to read the story or not.
B is briefer and punchier; it gets the basic idea of the setting out of the way quickly, putting a much greater focus on the plot. The specifics of Felix's situation, and of how the innovators factor into his goals, aren't as clear in A, and so the premise is much more ambiguous.
Option B is more clear and concise without losing too much detail.I feel I got lost in the extended description and details in Option A.
This options makes the story seem more interesting
A gives us far too much detail for my liking; B is better because they are best and to the poitn and good
B really works well to capture attention and generate interest for the overall story. A is a little wordy.
B sounds more like a book I would read. I like that it's not all about how things have been taught and drilled into Felix as a kid.
I chose option B because I felt that the prose in that option was better written and more interesting than the prose in option A, which felt clunky and sounded awkward.
B seems to get the point across more efficiently.
This summary is more clear and concise
A's explanation of Felix being worried about wanting rebellion is vague, B says it better: he longs for rebellion. I would read a good YA book although this sounds pretty generic. Something cool and supernatural about the winged gods might be mentioned here.
Both A and B provide enough information about the plot of the story. Option B is more concise and easier to understand.
I probably wouldn't buy this book because the whole concept of someone whose finding their place an fantasy world that's on brink of war with corrupted church has been done to death already. B at least attempts to keep it more personal for Felix and the readers.
the whole thing avout the dragon gods sounds new and interesting
This is a bit better edited and more concise while being without any excess. This sounds like an interesting story to me.
I disliked both of them due to the plot of the scenario, but out of the two I liked B better for sure.
This description makes it sound epic and a little bit more adventurous than the other which is more historical.
Option B because it appears that you are dealing with a slumbering powerful enemy and the fallout
There are enough details that pique my interest and make me want to learn more about the character and the story because it sounds very intriguing and exciting. I enjoy action adventures, and this sounds like it, I am slightly worried about the character and it makes me more interested.
Option B is a little more condensed but still interesting and you get a sense of the story.
B is simpler and more clear, even if it leaves out some facts needed to better understand the story
