Which Book Cover is more appealing?

12 Responses to Option A
It looks like more work went into A. B looks a bit simple.
The darker color with the book title comes off more morose
I liked the flower on B more but the background and text spacing on A was more appealing.
I like A better hands down. I like the tree and the light pink background. I think it has a soothing attractive and inviting look to it. It catches my attention right away and attracts me to the book.
I think this cover is much better
I prefer the textured background on A as well as how the tree takes up a good chunk of the cover. The stark white background with such a bright pop of color like the flower isn't as nice on my eyes.
The background image feels more organic. I like that the tree is shedding its leaves, which could evoke feelings of death and the end of a life. However, a tree losing its leaves is not dying, but preparing for a "rebirth" after a hard winter. The same idea could be applied to the topic of this book, which is surviving cancer.
I think this image goes better with the name of the book since it seems to be about having cancer.
This cover looks very unique, beautiful and eye catching
Choice A is better because the typeface is larger and the tree projects stability when a person needs it most.
Better with the tree
I like A better because of the coloring as well as they background is softer for the black font.

A does a good job of expressing the distress and confusion a cancer patient must feel.
I LIKE THE BRIGHT COMPOSITION OF THIS COVER
The colors are brighter, it feels more "upbeat" and positive, it's lovely, and it makes you want to read and that maybe there's some hope.
It is brighter and seems happier
I like the colour and sharpness of option B. The text and font are crisp and easy to read and the colour choices are attractive. I also prefer the way the title of the book is slightly off center, it grabbed my eye a lot more.
I like option B better, because it's about a journey through a rough time, but sounds like it ends up positive, so I would think the brighter colors and the fresh daisy design would be a better sign of hope. Some falling petals, but still strong and living.
I chose B because the flower symbolizes life and is bright. I didn't choose A because I found the colors down and depressing.
It feels more femenine and not so dreary which fall trees give depression for me
The flowers stand out
I prefer B, because the brighter colors seem to fit better with the message of hope the book seems to want to convey.
Brighter and more appealing
B is much more colorful and is more appealing to the eye. It will stand out much more on a book shelf at a store.
B is brighter, more "hopeful". I imagine someone battling cancer would be drawn to hopeful items.
A is brighter and more life like
The colors used are more cheerful and uplifting than in photo A. The colors are bright and makes the reader feel happy or uplifted. the size of the leaves is more lifelike
Beautiful is the only word to describe option B, which is why I prefer it to the other choice!
Love the clearer picture and the flower. Probably would consider the tree if it were a better picture and not a smudged drawing. I do like the background from the tree cover though
It's a blooming flower. The other cover looks like fall. Fall is when things die, which is not the impression you want to convey when you have a book about beating cancer.
Option A might be more fitting but then again it might be too depressing considering the subject matter.
I like option B because it has brighter colors which is happier and more hopeful.
The colors and design are a lot more positive, which draws more attention. People want positive things.
I would have liked the tree cover more if it wasn't such a dark and unappealing color. This flower is much more attractive.
The brighter, vibrant cover gives a more hopeful feeling. The fonts on both choices are equal.
Choice B with the flower is more hopeful and cheerful. Choice A with the autumn leaves reminds me of death, which is not what I'd want to think of when reading a book on terminal cancer.
I like the flower better. It seems more hopeful, especially because of the brighter color.
Flowers represent hope and the cover looks better in general.
I have always loved daisies and the yellow is very eyecatching.
I definitely like choice B better, it is a beautiful flower full of life. Choice A seems like a tree in fall when it's leaves are dying. That it surely not what I would want to see on a book about looking for a way to live through cancer.
I Like this cover because it it brighter and shows a more interesting picture of a flower. It catches my attention as I look at the picture.
The yellow flower is more positive and happy.
B looks prettier and has a more peaceful look to it.
Cover B is more clear. The watercolor art in option A is nice. However, I like the way the petals falling from the flower frame the words on cover B.
I think the brighter colors make the book seem more positive and I think it would stand out more if i was looking for it.
The first one is dark and makes me think the battle is already lost. It's not a good motivator.
Option B is more appealing
It is much easier to tell what the flower on B is. At first glance, the tree in A looks like a blotch of colors until you look down the page to see the tree trunk.
The cover on B portrays more positivity
The colors are prettier
