Which book cover is more appealing?
Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 27 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
B | 36% 18 votes | 54% 27 votes +9 |
A | 38% 19 votes | 46% 23 votes +4 |

The green grass doesn't look as professional or nice to me. I like the blank backgrounds better.
I chose A because i like that it shows the puppey with a person
Option A has what appears to be a vet with a puppy which helps to show their knowledge. Choice C is simple and easy to understand while option B has a lot going on.
Option A is the best - I love that the vet is cuddling with the puppy. Option C is okay with a good puppy portrait. B looks too cluttered.
I think people can relate to choice A. I feel choice C is really outdated.
I pick this one as my personal favorite because I have a huge soft spot for Boston Terriers. Most people would probably prefer B, with the puppies playing in the grass.
#1 is the best because it contains an actual (or a model) playing a health care provider. #2 is adorable. #3 is an ugly color.
The closeness he shows with the puppy is the same as most people feel about their pets and the three dogs on the lawn are so adorable
A I love that it shows the vet is holding the puppy. It shows the connection between taking care of your puppy and love. More heartfelt meaning behind the cover. It would grab any pet owners attention the most. B I love seeing the pups together playing in the grass and happy which is very eye catching, C I think the cover is too boring and plain with just the dog on it. I do like the first year though in numbers instead of written out
I think the image of the doctor can immediately communicate what the book might be about. It gives the book credibility without too much explanation.
Since the book is written by a doctor, I like that I can see a vet doctor on the cover of A. Option B I do like the overall photo of the 3 dogs rolling around on the ground. Option C seems like a pretty cut and dry non memorable cover photo to me.
I like that there is a Vet shown on cover of A. There is also a strong sense of emotion between the dog and vet; which is showing me the book is probably both professional but caring. The teal and yellow colors are also eye catching.I think C is super cute, the colors are appealing and the puppy has a a beautiful coat. This cover also looks very friendly.I don't feel like B looks very professional. I don't like the white text box.
The first one caught my eye because of the veterinarian representing health in the image. The second choice is a really cute picture of the dog. The third one was good too but it wasn't as good as my second choice.
I chose the photo with the veterinarian on it because that picture makes the book seem more knowledgeable.
The f irst one is cute and professional at the same time
I find this book cover most appealing. I feel it would resonate well with most, due to the fact of a friendly vet being depicted on the cover.
A is a great cover because it shows the connection between man and dog. It depicts love, caring and acceptance. The picture makes the book my relevant to the relationship dog owners have with their pets. B is just cute, because who doesn't love puppies? They are being playful and look to be well taken care of. C is last because it did not evoke any strong emotions.
I like the one with the man holding his puppy close to his face. He brings to life the image that you would do anything for your new puppy that you love so much. You can just see the love in his face. My second favorite was the one with the innocent puppy on the front that you just want to take care of.
i like the picture of the doctor with the puppy best. i feel the information would be more reliable.

those first 2 photos are adorable
The grass on the first cover is really nice, since it evokes freshness and life
I chose option B because it is cute and looks like it will cath your eye, option C is also cure, and A was the least catchy out of the 3 but it is still good.
the puppie are really cute make the cover really stand out
Cover B is very cute and appealing and makes you feel happy. Cover C is also cute and has an eye catching design. The third one makes you think about going to the vet which isn't as pleasant.
I love the photo of three puppies playing in the grass for the cover. I like the green print of Puppy Health Care. C is just down right cute/ adorable and very appropriate for a book on puppy care. It is also eye catching with the blue 1 and Year in blue with yellow background. A is just ok since it shows a vet with a dog and captures health care but it takes away from the dog/puppy.
More dogs is cute, plus them playing on the grass makes for a nice image
The puppies playing in this cover are adorable. It definitely catches my eye much more.
I like seeing the cute dogs in the picture. That's why I would buy the book.
I just love the puppies on the cover of option B.Option A would be my next choice, puppy healthcare book I would like to see a doctor with a puppy.I am not too particularly fond of option C.
The puppies are so much cuter. I don't like the last one as much because you can't see the puppy's face
I like the natural cover of the puppies for B. I preferred A over C because of the apparent relationship of pet and owner. It also had sharper contrast
looks fun and stands out more
I think they are all great, the puppies are so cute, but the one that caught my eye first was the one with the puppies in the grass.
Option B of course! Who could resist the photo?
B and C focus on happy and healthy dogs.
I like the puppies in B playing in the grass.
Love the three puppies. That cover would catch my attention. They are cute and healthy.

It was hard to pick because they are all so cute in their own way. I ultimately liked Option C. I thought the single dog represented the number 1 well.
While I think Option C is the "cutest" picture of puppies, I think C and A are the better actual book covers. And I think the bold big pictures and lettering on option C catch the most attention.
Choice C is my top choice because it's focused on a single puppy that looks adorable and like it wants to be cared for! Next up is Choice A because, presumably, the man pictured on the cover is Dr. Jo de Klerk, the author, so it helps give some credibility. Choice B was my last choice because there are multiple puppies, which is probably not the situation the reader will be in.
The puppy has a perfect hopeful expression, and the fonts and colors used express youthfulness.
The photo of the puppy looking upwards on the cover gives a feeling of hope and inspiration. It is very sweet and also shows the puppy acknowledging whomever they are looking to.
C is my favorite because the puppy seems like it's literally and figuratively looking up to you, which I think is fitting for the type of book it is. A is my least favorite because it focuses on a person and not on a dog. B is really cute but it's not as good as C.
Option C is cute and better connects the topic of the book. Option B still connects to the topic but is a little busy with a lot of motion/action with multiple dogs. Option A seems to pull more attention to the man than the dog.
C is the best to me because I like the close-up shot of the puppy. Very cute. B is nice too, as it shows a group of happy puppies. A is fine and appropriate, but I'd prefer just puppies on the cover.
I like C because it is attention-catching, but you know exactly what it is about too.
I like the single pup, makes it seem like a first time pet owner. The multiple pups, seems like a breeder type book. The vet on the cover seems intimidating and too scientific.
I really like choice C. I like that it focuses on a puppy, because that is what the book is about. I also like the color scheme it is distinctive. I do like choice B because of the use of multiple puppies. I also like that the focus is on the health of the puppy. It makes it known that it is very important. Choice A is alright, I do like that it has a dog on it, but I do not like that it has a vet or vet tech on it. It is not as clear as the other ones.
Option C is number one for me because the cover is more attractive. Option B is number two for me because the cover has many puppies playing with each other and looks beautiful.Option A is number three for me because the dog on the cover does not look like a puppy.
Chose by cuteness of dogs
