Which book cover is more appealing?

10 Responses to Option A
Better and more mysterious photo
too much red in the other one
I like that the knife is more symmetrical.
A few things I like better about choice A. The title of the book is better placed, with a better font, and the "knife" letter I looks cooler. Also, on the one I didn't like as much, I don't care at all that the guy is a Wall Street Journal best selling author. I also like the top line better on choice A. It's larger print, and I like the all one color phrase as opposed to the "jack stratton" in red on the other one.
This one looks mysterious, it makes you wonder what the book is about
I like the coloring better
I like the colors in this cover.
i like this cover better
for the cover
I really like the blue colors on the cover, they make the logo stand out while still being readable...i also like the "Jack Knifed" logo here better as well

looks more mysterious than the other one
I like the guy surveying the landscape and the rain.
The red wording is more eyecatching and feels more dramatic and interesting
I think this one seems better just because of having a person on it.
It's more appealing to me to have a person on the front and the scenery is better.
The picture stands out.
I like the photo on this book better. It makes it stand out more.
B has a better color design, A's design makes the book appear to potentially be dry and long winded.
It gives me more of a hint as to what the book is about.
This cover looks more mysterious and intriguing in my opinion.
I like the senerary of thats on the cover of the book
This one puts the focus on the title which is more important here. The figure in the image also adds an air of mystery.
The image of the man is haunting and eye catchign!
I'm more drawn to option B for sure. it seems much more interesting!
"Wall street journal best selling author" will persuade potential buyers to buy this book. Also Option B is more eye-catching.
b is a better cover
I like the image of the lonely looking man.
The red lettering is riveting to my eyes and captures my attention almost immediately
I like that it depicts the character, it makes it feel more interesting
Looks more mysterious and intriguing.
This one lets me know the story should involve a man in some way. I think the use of color is superior to "A" and the font in the title is more clear.
Option B is more intriguing and just overall looks more visually appealing. The visual effect of the picture makes you think the book has more to offer and would be more interesting. I think Option B would grab your attention more and make you more likely to pick the book up to see what it contains.
B looks more interesting than a .
The layout is more visually appealing than A. The picture on the front would definitely make me want to pick up the book to see what it is about.
I like the use of the color red. It draws me in.
I like that having a person on the cover gives it a human connection
The picture of the man caught my interest
I think it looks better
While I prefer the lettering in Choice A, I think that Choice B gives the best impression or the story and the genre overall. I like the image of the man overlooking the water. This type of cover fits very well with the style of book.
I the the guy in the cover
Much more interesting colors, composition, subjects.
I chose B because I prefer the cover. I'd really want to read this book.
I think the red text looks better, and this looks more like a cover that I associate with novels like this.
Much more forbidding cover.
this one captures my attention more and is a bit more mysterious to me
I prefer B since it has a person on the cover. I'd imagine that's Jack Stratton and draws me more into wanting to read the book.
PREFER THE GRAPHICS AND COLOR OF B
Grabs my attention more than the other cover
B because it looks more detailed and realistic.
The cover with the person on it immediately gives the reader clues about the book. You know there is a male character and you know there is mystery or suspense involved -- not simply because it's a detective novel, but because of the use of rain and light. The cover I did not choose, Cover A, is undistinguished, visually "blah," and offers no clues about the content of the book.
