Each of the panels on the cover is interesting in itself. The collection of all 5 is a bit overwhelming. The title strikes me as vaguely western, which seems to be at odds with the images. I think I would be confused and unlikely to click on this image.

Honestly I don't think I would. The age variation seems way too wide on teenager (too mature - top left) and young kid (bottom right). The top right image also doesn't really fit in with the other 3 pictures (too red/orange/bright) and takes away from the semi-steampunk/victorian vibe. The insect image in the middle also doesn't really fit with the cover/description (it may go with story but doesn't fit with what's shown). One image of main character with very good background environment would be better than 5 random character images.

I would not click on the cover because the design makes the book look cheap. Any of these individual images would be a good cover as they all evoke the mood of the description well, but all of them together make the cover look busy and do not look like a professional book cover.

I don't think I would click on this cover because:- the story isn't my type- the cover isn't attractive, it doesn't describe a small idea of what the story is like- the characters in the cover doesn't look 13 at all, to me it's more like a witch, a warrior, a detective and a nerd who knows magic

no. I would not open this. I have a 9 year old and 2 older girls, the 9 year old is not ready for this and the 18 year old and other kid are to old. It looks interesting but I rather not have my daughter reading this. She is into Percy Jackson and all things Egyptian or Greek, but I think she would find this "weird".

I would not click on this cover. The characters all look like teens and preteens. I am a 65+ year old woman who likes most of my characters to be old enough to vote and drink. They are cute kids, but not even old enough for acne. Teenage angst, I get enough at home.

Yes I really like the name and the age of the character. I don’t find the cover artwork appealing. I wish it were more cohesive, all of the friends together in the same setting. It reminds me of a book of short stories which I don’t like.

Based on just thencover and the title, it seems to very ,uch be a young adult novel. I would probably skip it, since I prefer adult mystery novels.
