B uses too many adverbs, sounds unprofessional
A I feel is more focused on the book than the author compared to the other.
A tells me more of what the plot of the book is about, which is a thing I like to know when reading a story.
I might not have the same emotional response as in B.
I like that this review summarizes the main themes of the novel rather than focusing on the personal impact it had on them as a reader. I also like that it is shorter.
Option A has more vivid language. Also, Option B has "shaken" and "unshakable" in close proximity. There is too much shaking going on!
Option A is pretty powerful. I think that most people are going to be fairly familiar with Frankenstein, anyway. I mean, the book is public domain, so it isn't exactly new IP. But, between the two blurbs, I think option A does a great job of capturing the essence of the novel.
I picked A first because it sounded more exciting and interesting.
Option A was more emotional and intense, so I like that one more.
this feels more on topic for the book narrative in option A , it is appealing to me the naming of it over others.
Option A does a better job of telling the reader why Frankenstein is still relevant in the modern era, and it does a better job of piquing interest than B, which is more visceral, but also less likely to distinguish the book from other horror novels or even movies.
The word devestating is eye opening and attention grabbing!
I like option BI like the shaking and sleepless description. That type of wording makes me feel the horror.
Starting off with how the reader felt after reading it makes me curious to know if the same feelings happen to me if I read it.
Option A is a synopsis, not a convincing testimonial. Option B described how the book affected them, not giving a dry description of the themes of the novel.
B sounds better like an average person wrote it. A sounds pompous like a marketing director wrote it.
The description in B sounds a lot spookier which is more appealing for this.
Option B's testimonial, saying "Frankenstein left me shaken and sleepless," would convince me more. It vividly describes the story's impact and depth, making it sound gripping. The mention of being "shaken and sleepless" suggests a haunting experience, making me curious about the character's obsession and its consequences. This testimonial paints a picture of a powerful story that would likely grab my interest.
It hooks me a bit better because it does not immediately tell me what it is obviously about so it leaves me reading more to see
This review is much more engaging and makes you scared about the book.
This blurb makes the book sound kind of disturbing and unsettling. It has me intrigued. The other blurb is the story we've all heard before.
There's more emotion in this review and it captures the premise of the book well. The other one is a little cold and boring
B was descriptive and made me feel what I would experience while reading the book
I think this is new take on an old book and does a good job of that.
B... This one is more descriptive in my opinion and uses a lot of attention grabbing words.
I like the testimonial in B, as it really emphasizes the horror and fear the novel brings to the reader. I think pushing how scary the book is does a great job of selling it.
Option b to me is a better option I like that it sounds more thrilling and scarier. It sounds more like a thrilling and heart pounding read that would have me up at night and ready to keep reading it and not want to put it down. To me option b is more exciting thrilling and heart pounding and would capture my attention longer therefore I would be more interested in a book that read like this.
This testimonials is more relevant to the actual plot.
this one shows a more personal experience. i also think that it sounds like the reading is meant for a higher level of understanding.
For me this one seems more personal and descriptive which makes me more curious.
