I liked that A didn't cut off any letters in the words (I hate when people try to get cutesy about substituting numbers for letters...).
It has plant in the name and both are plain words. I prefer the straightforward option.
The use of the 8 would be great with the teenagers but not very professional
I dislike when numbers are used to represent sounds.
Direct and I always prefer these names versus the contrived name with the eight in it.
I like this name because it's very straightforward. There's no mistaking it. It's an app about plant life.
I like that the name is leading to the info that it will hopefully provide. Plant.me when? and that info will appear along with feeding and watering. Cultivate of the other option just makes me think of digging not growing.
A because it's easy to say and extremely clear what it's about. I don't like numbers taking place of letters in words
Option A is better, assuming the name doubles as its URL. If it's only an app with no associated website, it's still preferable to Option B's forgettable name.
Plant Me is catchy and easy to remember. If you are planning a garden you are going to be planting. Plant Me is a cute, simple name and is it obviously garden related. Cultiv8 is creative but very hard to remember. I had to scroll up to remember how to spell it.
While I found option B to be a clever name and I like the way it sounds - the way it looks reminds me too much of energy products like energy drinks, powders, etc. I think option A has a name that looks like a better vibe for what the app is all about. It's simple and self-explanatory.
I like Plant me. The other one is cute with the play on words, but I like this one better!
I like option A because I like that the name is direct with "plant" in it.
I've literally seen at least a dozen names similar to Cultiv8 this week. They all use part of a word and a number. It may seem cute and clever now but it's becoming so prevalent that it's silly.
I prefer the name in Option A because it is very appropriate, catchy, unique and I think it will draw attention for people seeking a gardening app. The name is a great choice and I think it will resonate very well with anyone looking for this type of product - they will see the title and want to learn more information about the app - what it covers, what;s included, the cost, etc.
I hate names that use letters to denote words.
this name is cute and I like how it fits the theme well.
Option B is clever. I don't understand the "me" part in Option A.
this sounds like a future thinking brand with the "8" sounding really hype to me for a future product
B is more captivating to me and it sends a more clear message about what the product does to me as compared to choice A.
I chose B as my choice because I like the name and find that it is a cool style.
I prefer "Cultiv8" because it cleverly relates to gardening with a modern twist, making it memorable and relevant.
the dots in the middle of text always throws me off and I have never been a fan of them
this is a cool name, but I wonder if people will get confused with V8 (juice)
This is a clever play on the word and it sounds like a typical app name. The other option sounds like a low quality website.
I like Cultiv8. It's overall pretty creative and on point. It works really well compared to Plant.me
B sounds a little classier and it makes it seem both more detailed and more comprehensive.
This seems more clever and innovative of a name.
A sounds sexual. B is a nice pun
I like the cute play on words of B. I would want to know more about that company
