Option D won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 54 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
D | 41% 41 votes | 44% 44 votes +3 | 54% 54 votes +10 |

I mostly care about the image size and how it is positioned.
I chose Options A&B first because i think its a no-brainer that the larger an image is, the more likely it will catch your attention, and the way the product is styled such as the color and arrangement of the product are what make it eye-catching. I chose Option B last because as long as the image is clear enough to tell what the items are, a higher quality image isn't necessarily more likely for me to click on
I think these are all important, but having a good sized image with a high quality is still the most effective options for me since it allows me to view and see the product clearly.
When I look at a product listing I want it large enough to fit the whole frame or I think, what are the trying to hide. Also, show it head on with other views to show the side or and angled view
I think the size of an image is what makes a product's photo stand out because if it's so small that you can't see the product, then you notice, and if it's big enough to analyze the product, then you'd notice that too.
These aspects make an image stand out the most
For me size is most eye catching. If a product appears larger in an image, I'll look at that, even ignoring other options, even if the item is styled and used in the pic. Resolution is important but ONLY to a certain point for me. Angles are unimportant though.
I chose my answers in the order that I liked them. Option B is most important to me.
It needs to be a quality resolution and not look photoshopped.
Clarity is the most important trait here, it makes sense to me though the b and D of this option here
Resolution would make or break the stand.
Choices B and C would be the top two in importance, followed by D and A. All ranked according to overall importance. B and C rank highest because the image has to look good above all else, that's all you get when buying online. So it has to give a good look at the item. One important thing to note here that I hate as a consumer is when sellers put a white, or very light-colored product, against a white background. That looks incredibly tacky and makes it hard to actually gauge the product.
The clarity of the image stands out the most to me.
Photos with poor resolution always stand out to me negatively. Conversely, photos with high resolution look great. Showing the product in relation to others makes it seem more real to me. The position or angle is also somewhat important and the size of the image is least important to me.
I made my ranking decisions based on which features I cared about the most in a photo stand.
I would go with option B because quality and resolution is everything to me. Option D and C are also important too. Option A is the least impactful to me.
Image quality is the biggest part. If the product image is grainy, low res, out of focus, etc... it makes me think the product is not of good quality if they cant use good images. Position and angling are highly important to me as it really makes a huge difference on how it is perceived. Styling sometimes works for me, but its not that bug of a deal. Image size really doesnt matter as long as its big enough to really see what the product is.
I always think image quality/clarity is the most important. It gives you a good idea how serious the makers of the product are - if they spend time and detail in the image or if they are just trying to get the product out there. It is by far the most important aspect to me when looking at new products.
I picked B and A as my top choices as I like to have a better quality to see the pictures.
B and D are the most important for first impressions. It if has no style or low resolution you will think how cheap it looks. C and A are less important.
I would say that the most important thing when watching at the photo of a product is the resolution it have (option B) because if the image have a better resolution it would look better, then its style and the angle of the product (options D and C) helps a lot to attract customers easily and last the size of the image is important but not that much because sometimes really good images are small but sometimes a bigger image can attract more people depending on the situation.
B because I am a person who relies on high quality imaging for my work and think this most separated the rookies from the more professional people.
I ranked in orde of what i thought was best. Clarity should be number one because ou want to be able to clearly see what you’re looking at, size is second most important because the bigger the image, the more you see the other options are just helpful indicators
Option B resolution is the most important to be able to identify what is in the picture itself.
i think resolution first
The image quality is very important. A poor quality picture can make the product look cheap and unappealing.
I thought option B is the best and what I find the most important. If the photo is low quality it makes the product seem more cheap. Option D and C are important too espesically option D. Option A, is okay not as big of a deal but nice to have.
You'd be surprised how hard it is to get a high-quality image sometimes. It makes you look more professional to do so.
Truly its all of htem combined
I want a clear image that is big and shows off the item well. Blurry and small images are useless to me.
I believe image resolution and clarity is the most important thing. If the resolution is poor none of the other things matter
I think being a clear, high definition image (B) is the most important these days because of how easy it is to do now. Showing how a product is used (D) would be next to show how I may use it in my life. For C, angling could affect how it is shown in relation to other items as before. I think the image size is least important unless it is too small to show any necessary details.
The resolution is the most important factor on getting my attention for a product photo stand. If the resolution is too low, then I wouldn't be as interested. The other factors are nice but resolution is definitely the main factor on getting my attention.
I've seen fuzzy images and its a serious turn off when trying to make a purchasing decision - so this is definitely the most important to me.
The resolution of it is extremely important. I want it to look as clear and crisp as possible. Low quality resolution makes it seem cheap and rushed. I would say design of the photo is second because I like to have it in a good setting with good items all around it
I choose B over A D C if the image isn't good all blurry might as well not even take a pic of the image.
The photo’s clarity is the first thing I notice. I then notice the styling of the product followed by angle and the finally the size.
I prefer choice B because the resolution makes it easier to see the details.
A blurry image would make me ignore whatever it was so resolution first, seeing the need that the product solves is important so i followed with D, A and C are very similar in my mind, if you can see what the product is and what its trying to achieve you don't necessarily need a large image.
These are all important elements of a photo. My choices were based on which was one was the more important to me. The most important is Option B, resolution (image clarity). It's important to see a vibrant, clear picture, it's the most important quality in a photo.
Really just need clarity and detail I think, showing the different angles, etc.
B , image size always attracts attention to a product. Even if in the end you dont like the product being super clear makes me personally spend more time viewing a product.
Being able to see the high resolution image is what would grab my attention the most. It's the same with TVs where the high resolution catches your eye.
A high quality high resolution photo, Option B, is the most important aspect in attracting buyers, because it shows your product the most effective. Having a large image, Option A, is the second most important quality to attract potential buyers, because bigger photos attract more eyeballs. Option C, the positioning and angling of your product, is the third most important aspect on attracting potential customers, because positioning and angling the photo affect the quality of the image and the attractiveness of the product's photograph. Option D, the styling of the product, is the least most important aspect.
I think clarity really is at the top. A bad photo resolution will make me think the product is garbage.
I find resolution to be the most important, if a product image was low resolution it would make me very hesitant to buy it. Positioning and styling are also important, as I prefer products that don't have blatantly photoshopped pictures as it makes me suspicious of the product quality.
If the image is not clear, then I can't see anything and there's no point in the image. Size matters because I want to be able to see everything in the image. Styling showcases the value and features of the product. Position of the product can be important but if I cannot see the product or it is not clear, it does not matter how the product is positioned.
The angle is everything, the angle of the product is what will either grab my eye or ignore
I do a lot of these Pickfu surveys and for me, the angling is the best. It can either give me a good sense of the product or leave me with so many questions that I lose interest. The others matter too, but angle is most important to me
Position and angling is for sure the best picture judgement first for the best quality. Everything else is pretty though as well.
I think C and D are the most noticeable to me
The correct angling is always the best to me to show off an image followed by the image showing the product in use
They are all important, but the angle of a product is huge, but closely followed by use, size of image, if its too much background its useless, resolution is also critical
Listed in order of my choice for a photo stand that gets my attention is listed in the following order:Option C is first because Positioning or angling of the product which would allow to me decorate and make changes with various decorSecond is A because Image size would be good for necessary photos.Third is D because Styling of the product would not be as optional with various decorsFourth is option B because Resolution has less options compared to the other options.
Position is important. It can make the difference between showing desirable features or hiding them, or looking great versus blah.
Position or angling of the product is most important to me because I feel it is essential to be able to see a product from both attractive angles and angles that do a good job of providing information about the product rather than concealing important product elements. B is my next choice because fuzzy, low-resolution, blurry images look unprofessional and create the impression the company does not care at all about its products, so why should I. Image size is important to me because I hate to zoom in order to see a product better, however it's not as much a deal breaker as angling and resolution. D is my last choice because styling generally gets in the way of most products when they attempt to show products being used by models or in silly situations rather than just keeping the images informative.
Each of these are important, but I definitely think C makes a huge difference. Some images are just dull and look flat when the product isn't positioned well and in a natural way.
I selected "Option C" as my first choice because I consider the orientation of the product to be very important when viewing an image. Straight on viewpoints can be boring, while angled or uniquely positioned products make the image more interesting and attractive.I selected "Option D" as my second choice because I feel that including a demonstration of the product in use with related objects/accessories can be very helpful in determining whether or not it will meet my needs/requirements.I selected "Option A" as my third choice because I find larger product images typically are easier to read and contain more "information" and less white space. I selected "Option B" as my last choice because in most cases exceptionally high resolution imagery isn't necessary to convey most product information.
The angling is the most important so you see the item
I feel the ranking is self-explanatory.
I think showing the object in the correct environment and light is the most important thing to start.
The angle of a product is the most important to me.
If it's just a picture of a box with a white background, that's not memorable. Showing the product packaging along with the product being used, that is memorable.
I like to see a realistic view of the product in use to show me whether or not it will work for me and is worth the purchase.
I think that the angle at which the product is shown is probably the most important factor in determining how attention-grabbing a product photo is. However, an image depicting the product in use is a lot more eye-catching than a static photo of the product (i.e. just a photo of the product by itself).
The styling of the product and how it is used is the most eye catching to me because it's the most relevant to me and how I might use it.
this order of the above option, having a sense of scale is very important
To me it is always going to be about showing the product being used or in an environment that is about it being used. That is why I picked D.
I like seeing a product in use, and I also like close up images of the product that let me see details
I feel that D is my top choice because that is the one that will make the product stand out and draw my interest to it.
D is first because often there are accompanying pieces some photos leave out. B because it makes the photo better alone. D because being too small as the same as not seeing a photo at all and C is just a glamour shot.
I liked D first because it shows how the product off better in the way that it might look in person. It might give a better idea of it's size in relation to other objects. I picked C next because it would also give a better impression of how it might look in real life, but not as good as D, but better than A and B. I had a harder time deciding between A and B. I think that A would probably get me to look at it more than B, but B is more likely to show details of the product.
I think how the product is styled and the quality of the photo are hands down the biggest things to draw someone's eye
C seems pretty tangential and unimportant to me. If the product is stylized well that makes it stand out a lot better. I ALWAYS ding for bad photo quality and resolution since that seems like marketing 101 to avoid.
Styling and Angles work together to change dimensions and colors of items for sale. Resolution is vital for clarity of product pic.
Most of the time, showing the product in use makes it more catchy and interesting to a customer because he gets a good insight and learns more about the product. (Even learns about the actual size)
Styling and use is the most important for me as if it doesn’t stand out and gain my attention I would just move on to another product.
I love option D the most because it helps me to better decide if a product will be beneficial for my needs.
As long as it is not super low quality, then they way it is portrayed helps, which related to D and C having a properly style and positioning the photo it allows a potential purchaser the chance to see how the product could be used, and how a user may use it in their imagination. This is the most important.
I feel like seeing the use of the product and styling really sticks out, with image clarity being the best. I didn't see much about the size of the image being attention getting.
Man... these are all important. You don't want to post a blurry or tiny image. Product placement matters. Showing the product, in use, isn't necessarily essential, but it's definitely useful. So yeah, all 4 of these things matter, a lot. A lot, a lot.
I like when the photo shows the product being used. It helps me to imagine using it myself.
Definitely would like to see a product in use, what it looks like and the packaging.
Its more helpful for my brain to make the connection between other humans using the product and how I would use it in relation to their experience
It's hard to give an absolute rank. Resolution and image size could both be hugely impactful if they're ridiculously bad, but as long as they're within normal limit they don't really matter to me. In most cases positioning and styling are much more consequential.
The styling of an image can have a huge impact on how eye catching an image is. Showing a product with an attractive model, for example, could really catch my eye.
Styling of the product (showing it in use, with related objects, etc.) is what makes a product Photo to be out standing and get my attention.
I really like when the product is being shown being used, it gives me an idea of how I am supposed to utilize this product.
A product needs to be presented in a way that it brings a lifestyle to the customer, even though the customer may not want it. The point is to make the sale yet we forget to place the item in a pictures sense of belonging in a customers home. That is key these days where money is scare.
I think seeing the product being utilized and near other related objects makes it easier to gauge the product and how it is to be used.
think ranking helps people get an idea of how something cna be used / what it is like in relation to the surroundings.
I like to see a product in a realistic environment/background and be set up in a way that if feels close and I can imagine using it or having it.
I chose Option D for product images because seeing how it is used or the size relative to a person or object is super important to me. It puts a mental picture of it in my mind that sticks. C is next important as how it is presented is also critical to my perception. If it is angled oddly, such as too far to right or left, it makes it hard to read, but a slight angle makes it look refined. B is my third rank as resolution is sort of important but not really. As long as the thumbnail is clear I don't need ultra high definition pictures. And likewise, Option A I don't need a giant sized image to make a product choice. Just something clear.
The style is most important followed by any positioning that contained in the images. The size isn't a big deal, but resolution or clarity would be more ideal for showcasing the product's high points.
Seeing a product in use and offering alternative uses will make me look at it more closely and consider my own ideas. Seeing a product with clarity will also cause me to give it a second look.
Showing it in use definitely is more appealing to me
Option d gives me the best idea of how the product is utilized.if i can see it in use in a pictute, i can visualize it in use in my life
Option D is definitely 100% the most important. If you have a shoddy stylization of the product, people will scroll right past it and pick the competitor who designed their product image better.
This feels like how I normally would think when scrolling through a website.
I think the most important thing is showing the product in use because it helps the customer visualize themselves using it.
