Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 51 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
A | 44% 44 votes | 44% 44 votes | 51% 51 votes +7 |
B | 29% 29 votes | 36% 36 votes +7 | 49% 49 votes +13 |
D | 20% 20 votes | 20% 20 votes | Eliminated 20 votes reassigned |
C | 7% 7 votes | Eliminated 7 votes reassigned |
I love a casual and fun voice.
I would say option A is my favorite because I like a fun and casual voice, nothing too serious. Option B and D would be fine with me too. I don't like option C at all.
Because people want to have fun!
It does depend on the product, but generally I prefer a casual, fun brand voice as it makes me feel comfortable.
I like a mix of A and C the most.
I find choices A, B and C to be more appealing more as compared to choice D which is less attractive to me.
I would rather hear a voice that makes me happy and smile
I picked A and B as my top choices as l like a brand that knows me.
I like casual and fun the most because I can relate to it (A) and I also like instructional because it grabs my attention (C) i do not care for neutral as much (B) and I do care about brand voices a lot (D).
I like A the best as I think more casual brands re the best and if they can incorporate fun it makes it even better as it gives them a personality.
I like a casual, fun voice to lighten up the mood followed by getting you excited about the brand.
I prefer a casual and fun type of brand voice. It makes the brand interesting. If it is neutral and informative it's still okay but just less likely to catch my attention. Otherwise brand voice doesn't matter to me. So if it is serious and instructive it just gets lost on me.
I enjoy brand voices that are more playful such as Wendy's twitter. Then I feel as though a brand that explains itself well is better than nothing at all but I find serious ones boring.
I think have a fun or casual voice is ideal. Secondary to those would be instructive and serious. I'm not as much a fan of neutral or just informative voices, so that would be ranked much lower.
something light sounding or fun gets my attention, then I listen to the ad
want one to be fun and stand out to me as loving life as i would not want a brand that isnt
I like the causal, fun stance alwasys
I like A the best because a brand is memorable when it uses fun and creative voices.
I think I would prefer a casual, fun voice or a neutral, informative voice the most. They both have their advantages while a serious voice does not appeal to me.
It is more pleasant to have a voice that works well in context, but it is always more pleasant to have a voice that is colloquial, pleasant, and friendly.
A casual and fun business vibe is one that always appeals to me. They give off carefree energy and a lifestyle that I am striving to achieve.
As something that's supposed to "speak" to me personally, I prefer A and B (as well as D) over C which feels coercive and forcing and would definitely turn me off the product.
I like things to be fun. I like to have fun so I want someone talking to me having fun. I would be more likely to buy it
I prefer option A because I think that casual and fun style of brand voice makes me more interested in purchasing their products.
Of the options presented, I feel option A is always the best. Casual and fun is much more inviting and nice to me. It makes the brand feel as friendly as possible. Sometimes brands can go a bit too far with the "fun", but generally I enjoy when a company comes off as casual and fun.
I definitely enjoy a casual and fun voice. It makes things more enjoyable. Next I wouldlike an instructive voice.
I prefer this option. I like casual and fun far more than the other option ranked. I find it relaxing.
A fun brand voice is always welcoming and engaging.
A casual, fun voice is the one that is the most appealing and attracts my attention. It makes me feel comfortable.
When it's casual, I tend to learn better.
I ranked in the order that I prefer in both ads and real life.
its hard to say and can vary from one ot the other, but casual and fun are always the best to look out for
If there is genuine happiness and fun then its appealing.
I like being real and honest and fun, so my first choice I like best.
Ideally, I'd pick "Enthusiastic" If you don't come across like you love your brand, then that will most certainly show. Gotta be your own biggest cheerleader.
Usually for advertising I find the "casual, fun" brand voice is most likely to capture my attention or encourage me to engage. "Neutral, informative" make me think most of the news media, which can be useful for some brands, but is less likely to hold my sustained attention. Options D & C are equally options I'd avoid. D, voices do matter. So far as C goes, I would find it condescending unless handled well.
I ranked the styles of voice that I liked. Casual is #1 followed by neutral and then serious.
I think casual and fun works for most things. Look at insurance ads these days. 40 years ago they might have been more serious but now it's all comedy.
I think a casual and fun environment where you can be yourself and feel comfortable is important
I prefer fun and casual since it's easier to get familiar with. Information is always valuable and helpful. Serious can be nice occasionally if it is a medical service.
I do want a brand to have some sort of voice, preferably a fun and entertaining one, so I would go with A. C and B just seem too serious and uninteresting to me, so I would go with no voice (D) over those alternatives.
Fun and casual is relaxing and easy. If its not going to be that, make it serious.
Honestly, I don't really like any of these names at all.
Option A is the best because I hear serious, instructive, and informative voices throughout my day. It would be nice to hear from a casual and fun voice, I would react better to this kind of voice.
I chose option B and A because they seem like the most appealing out of the options. I chose C and D last because they seem kind of boring.
The voice does not need to stand out to me, so something neutral would sound good to me.
I hate when a company tries to act like your friend. Just give the information you need and thats it.
I am drawn to clear voices that get the point across plainly and quickly, so I chose B as my top option. The only option I think I would dislike is C, as it could sound intimidating.
I prefer this type of brand voice because it's fun and it is natural and appeals to most people
I like to get as much informaiton as possible about brands.
I prefer a voice that is clear and informative, one that I can easily understand.
I would rather have a brand be as neutral and informative as possible, as that removes any possible bias.
Choice B would be the most appealing.
B's informative attribute is what I like most about a brand voice. It doesn't make me feel like it's patronizing or misleading, or driving an agenda. C is similar, though it's a bit less relaxed and can make me feel stressed. I put A last because casual, fun brand voices make me mistrusting and skeptical of their claims, thinking they're trying to be fun and friendly to make a sale, not because they're actually fun or my friend.
The name depends on the product being sold. B is best for all kinds of products. Then you have fun and serious products and names.
I think voices are important with respect to a brand - I like informative style the best.
The voice definitely matters, but it depends on what they are talking about. If something is light-hearted, you want it to be more fun.
I prefer the option B brand voice style because I like to be informed in as neutral a way as possible. I chose options C and A second and third because I like to hear a more serious voice than a casual and fun voice. I chose option D last because brand voice does matter to me a lot.
I prefer option B because I find that this type is beneficial and not enforcing, yet it truly shows seriousness and knowledge.
I prefer a neutral, informative voice. I want the voice to be natural. A serious instructive voice would be next, but could be too exaggerated. I don't want a casual, fun voice - it can try to be too much like they think they know you. D is last; as I do care about the brand voice
I would like information about the topic. I would prefer it in a manner I understand.
These are the best options to me in terms of how a brand voice sounds
I find that this is the most important to me in a brand voice because it is straight forward.
Neutral and informative is most important. I don't like fake "fun" or gimmicky. And I don't like sexist stereotypes.
I like informative brand voice, thats why I picked option B, then option C. I think being overly casual with brand voice can be detrimental.
I prefer a natural style of speaking over anything else.
i find the neutral and informative voice the best because it allows you to focus on the information presented
Neutral is the easiest to listen to.
I find it really annoying when brands try to be friendly. I prefer a neutral attitude
I like a voice that is informative. I can learn and make a better buying decisions.
I think B is important for informing your customers about your product.
I'm tired of brands that are silly and have a talk down approach. That's why I prefer informative and more serious brands voices.
i think that it is good to have a natural but informative voice. i think that staying neutral is good cause some people interpret voices differently. i also like informative a lot cause it teaches better than any other voice.
I'd rather have a serious and instructive voice. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't bother to listen to what they were saying.
My primary "objective" from watching advertising is to be informed about a product - to learn.
I prefer a serious and informative voice, like a news caster.
Casual is offputting. This trend of informality really makes companies look unprofessional. Therefore I Prefer serious and instructive tones, neutral tones next, and casual tones last.
The more professional the better. Strong is good.
A voice that is serious about a product suits me the bestWhen interested in something, it's best to give good information in a serious tone of voice. It gets the message across much better
I think brand voice matters a lot. I like to be educated and informed, but a fun brand voice is great too depending on the product. It's ok for peanut butter but not a bank.
Really it makes no difference but if I was forced to pick something I think a more informative approach is always better.
I chose D as the first option because it depends on the product or service. Some products/services require a fun atmosphere while other require a more serious or professional tone.
Option D because I really don't have a preference of brand voice and nothing is really more appealing to me so I ranked accordingly
D brand voice doesn't really matter to me so long as it intelligible and not hard to hear, A if i had to pick a 'Brand Voice' it would be this one as i think it would be pretty alright depending on how it sounds, B is good as well as far 'Brand Voice' and would be pretty standard i would imagine as far as things like that go, C might be too much for 'Brand Voice' depending on how it sounds and might be a little off putting for some in my opinion
It doesn't really matter to me but if I had to choose I'd pick neutral and informative.
I'm not sure what you mean by brand voice, but I suspect it's not that important.
It doesn't really matter to me. I have no strong preference. Thank you.
I chose Option D because I am not sure that I have ever really found one style works better for me over another. I think it depends on the product and what it does.
I really need more context before making a decision. Brand voice depends on the service, product and intended demographic.
Option D suits me the best as I don't care about a brands voice.. If the product is well made, and the company acts professionally, they have me as a loyal customer.. Corporate lies, and information distortion, makes me not at all interested in how the company is attempting to impress or entice the public.. If the product stands on it's own, the day is made.. Option A as I enjoy humor and fun.. If a brand can make fun of itself, I feel it makes that more attractive.. but it's not necessary.. The remaining choices are based on importance..
Brand voice doesn't matter to me. The actions of a company matters more to me than their voice. Actions speak louder than words.
To me brand voice doesn't matter as long as the products are good.
I ranked them to my personal preference
C just upsets me and puts me in a negative headspace. A is too peppy and annoying. B is boring but helpful. D is my favorite because I focus on the message more than the delivery.
Option D sums up my feelings about brand voices, I feel very indifferent since I have no personal connection to the brand or the voice.
This information is quite irrelevant to me as long as I receive the information.
It really depends on the brand. If it is something important than I want them to be serious. I can appreciate more fun styles, like the fast food places being snarky on twitter.
I really don't care I am more focused on the information than the voice!
Brand voice doesn't really matter to me, as long as it's not annoying. It's okay if it's neutral and informative, but not too serious and not too fun, so it starts to sound silly.
I ranked option D first because I only pay attention to what is actually being said but if I actually had to pick on I would choose casual and fun because that is appealing to me which is why I chose option A second. I am indifferent about B and C and they are tied for last place.
