Option A won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 63 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 |
---|---|
A | 63% 63 votes |
C | 26% 26 votes |
B | 11% 11 votes |
A is great and looks really good, C I do not really like as much and B looks more like a caveman then a Viking . A is the best by far and seems to have potential
I like option A the best because I like the beard and mustache as well as the clothing the viking is wearing.
A is the most appealing for a few reasons. I was really receptive to the design it brings about. I think that the character also looks very strong and well centered.
Looks more like a typical Viking
I think the forked beard, eyes, and bald head of the one I picked is the best combination of identifiable and whimsical, people would get attached to him. I feel similarly about the second, but not as much and I don't the image is quite as memorable. My third choice is just kind of flat and muddy, it's hard to even make out the face.
I feel like this character is the one that looks like they would be a great viking and one that is ready to go all out. The other two dont look like they would be up for much. They look down and gloomy.
I like the one that seems more civilized and less "Neanderthal"-like
The design has a lot of character. I like the color choices. Looks like a proud warrior.
I like the look of option A but the expression of option C is my favorite.
I like choice A the best since the way the character looks is the most confident and strong. Choice B looks more like a caveman and isn't as appealing or strong as choice A.
The first and second look more like what vikings are portrayed as. B looks more like a caveman.
In my opinion the best design for a viking is the one shown in option A, because its design and the features it possess give this character the real feel of being a viking and being fierce, on the other side the viking shown in option C is really interesting but it looks way more barbaric and maybe dumb making it a decent option but not as good as the one in option A and last we have the viking show in option B which is in fact not a viking but a caveman.
The character looks the most proud and bold and also a Warrior but maybe friendly as well so I like his stance
This one looks the most realistic. He doesn’t look scared.
I don't really like any of them, but option A looks the most visually pleasing. Option B looks absolutely terrible so that one has to go last.
Ratesd the most detailed and complex design first, with more generic and simple designs last.
I liked the character design for option A the most. Option B, I liked that it showed off the weapon. Option C, just looked average to me.
I prefer option A because this character looks more like human versus retarded beast.
I think A looks like the best character if I were the character. He looks strong and well dressed. He isn't showing a lack of teeth. He could get the classic viking helmet from C, which is why it's my second choice, and A would be perfect. The more teeth the better.
The first looks inspiring and I like the art style. Next one is ok but just doesn’t look as heroic and his outfit doesn’t look like a Viking. He looks like a guy lost in the wilderness of medieval Europe. The other one, he looks cowardly, it’s just not very appealing.
I like the design of option A the best. His posture makes him look confident and tough. I also like how he wears a cape.
I ranked them in the order that they look the most "viking"
I chose A first because he has the more brawn and he looks like he would be a skilled fighter. My second choice was B because I liked his weaponry. My third chouce is C because he already looks depressed, tired and defeated.
Option A looks more confident and you see more of his face. Option C looks worn out.
I feel a little more partial to the guy who has a cloak and looks more like a chieftain to me, but they're are very similar, and good.
B looks like a caveman, not a Viking. I am not sure why C is a hunchback. A is definitely the choice that most represents what I imagine a Viking to look like. I like the detail in the beard.
I chose Option A as the most appealing due to its striking resemblance to the vikings of How to Train Your Dragon. The other vikings also look a big goofy and not to be taken seriously.
A looks honorable and strong, well-put together too. B looks more like a caveman, but not off-putting. C looks ridiculous, it's difficult to take them seriously.
I think Option A is clearly the best it looks like a Viking king and what I would imagine a Viking leader would look like I for sure think Option A is the most appealing. I also like Option B it looks like a pretty typical Viking warrior ready to go to battle and I could definitely see it being a good character design for a mobile game. Option C I actually do not like at all though Option C looks like a scared Viking which does not really fit my perception of a Viking at all, it looks like a Viking that would be scared to go into battle and looks like he should just not be a Viking. Option A though is clearly in my opinion the best and would be a great character design for a mobile Viking themed game to me it fits the stereotypical Viking mold with a big beard and the Viking fur cape it all looks really nice and a character design like that makes me interested in the game just because of the look of the character.
I really think you should go back to the drawing board with these. If I was Scandinavian I would be insulted by these images. But, if I have to rank these this is how I would rank them. Option A is probably the least offense which is why I chose it first. It's still not great art, but it's passable. After that options B and C are about equally awful. The both look like mutated animals rather than people. It's offensive. I suppose I chose option B over A because option C looks afraid which doesn't strike me as a very Viking sort of emotion, at least one that is easily displayed.
A is unique and striking, while avoiding the (inaccurate) stereotype of the horned helmet. C fits right into this stereotype which makes it by far the least interesting. B is ok, and interesting, but nothing about it really screams "viking" to me.
I ranked each of these in order of how clear the graphics were to see and how "intimidating" they looked.
I definitely get more of a viking look and feel with options A and C, option B looks like a cave man and doesn't really have that great of a design.
I chose A first, because it is the most colorful and I think the character looks friendly, but strong. I chose C over B next, because I like that C looks a little silly and it implies the game has a sense of humor.
I like option A the most because I like the facial gesture the most. I then like the design of C over B, which I feel is too bearded.
I like the design where the character's head is displayed.
Option A looks like an actual Viking. The other two look like crappy impressions of Vikings.
I think that option A seems to best capture the theme. The overdressed and excess furs really seal the deal in the looks.
For me, I love all the details that are present with A and the color and designs of everything. This person really feels strong and epic which I love. From there, I prefer C over B because B just looks fuzzy and everything seems blurred together to me
This viking looks more appealing and realistic.
A looks like a confident leader and viking like, so I chose that first. Regarding C, he looks very viking-like but I am bothered by how narrow his knees are. Therefore, that one is second. Option B looks more like a cave-man. I do not recognize Option B as a viking.
I chose A first because he actually looks like a person. The other two look like creatures since there is so much hair around the face.
I love the way it looks. It has a high-quality look to it. The others look way to plain for me.
The character in A looks the strongest and most heroic which I like! C looks a bit silly and the one in B kind of looks like a homeless man.
The design conveys power and nobility as well. It's a strong character design. It's the most human looking of the options. This is the character that I relate to the most.
A has the most epic beard so he is really quite a character and the cape makes him look intimidating.
I'm not a big fan of either choice. Option C looks like an old, sick man. I like the cape on Option A and the hair on Option B. Neither option is the total package.
A was first because it has the most visually appealing guy. He is standing in a defensive posture, but welcoming at the same time. I chose C second because he had things sticking up off his arms and his legs were the same size. B was last because the character has different sized legs, looks more like female legs. Not sure if the striped thing is a leg or not.
A looks strong and competent, B looks dumb, and Option C looks very scared, not a good look for a viking.
I like the coloring of option A as well as the face. Option C doesn't look very strong for a character
the only one i really liked is A because the other two looks dumb and awkward
A looks strong, C I don't like the expression of the face and B looks like wolf man
A looks like a viking. B looks like a wild man. C is ok looking
Option A looks very gruff and powerful yet still human and possibly nice on the inside. He reminds me of an angry father that still loves you after you've gotten a bad grade.
I just wasn't sure f I was looking at a Viking or a Caveman with option B. For that reason, I ranked it last. I liked option A the best, with the helmet in option C being good too.
A is the most noble and intelligent looking one. B looks like he is unkempt but still smart and strong. C looks like an idiot and I don't like playing idiots.
A is my pick because his armor looks cool. I like the fur cloak and the green shirt. His outfit looks like it comes from nature. C is my next choice, he looks a bit like a field grunt. His posture is a little ugly. B is my last choice because it's not clear to me what he is holding. The shape of his body looks a little odd to me and the colors muddle together.
A is the most appealing because he has the largest beard and a cape. Option C is second because of his viking helmet. Option B is the least appealing because he looks like a caveman.
I chose A as the best cause this design makes him look like the king of the vikings.
Option A has the most human facial qualities and has a kind nature. Option C is the depiction of a typical Viking, showing fierceness. Option B could be any sort of monster because it doesn't really resemble a Viking and appears to be holding a guitar.
When I think viking, I think someone that has lots of furs to keep warm, so A is the best fit to that.
Option B looks like neandrathal. It doesn't seem like a questing, violent viking at all. It looks like it would be attacking a saber tooth tiger. I think Option A is the best because it makes it seem strong and like a conquering hero. I think it looks fun and powerful. Option B looks a little too silly - like he is partially crazy.
B just looks bad all around, its hard to explain past that
I really like the rough look that B has going on for it. I think that this design looks fun and unique. A and C are okay but they don't really feel very Viking to me. They just don't have much of an appeal to me.
I like the first choice a lot because of the great amount of character. My second choice is also very good looking, but they look more like royalty.
"B" looks the most badass without looking goofy. "C" looks super goofy.
The character in C seems dumb and not trustworthy. The one for A is nice but he does not look as tough as the Viking from B.
I like the weapon of the character n B the most
I think that Option B is the most unique. Option C seems a bit timid and Option A looks very confident, but Option B feels like a good combination of the two. He looks confident but somewhat gruff and slightly dim witted yet strong so this viking character feels like an individual. Option C has a more stereotypical viking hat which feels suitable for his timid nature made me like him a bit less. Option A doesn't have a weapon so that made it my least favorite choice of the three. Option B feels the most unique, whereas option C has a standard viking appearance and Option A felt a bit lacking overall in design (silhouette wise).
I chose option 1 because it just looks so much cooler. B is definitely the best one.
I ranked in this order simply because this was the order in which it said "Viking" to me at first glance.
I chose option B as my favorite because I like that he has a club and I like that his beard is braided, or at least banded together. I think he looks like a real viking
I like option B as he has a giant club, which I think is really cool and badass.
The animation of all is very choppy. But B is the most appealing.
The character C is the most expressive . interesting
C is my top choice because the helmet makes the character most identifiable as a Viking. The cape is my next choice for a similar reason but isn't necessarily distinct among Vikings, and same for the character's beard type. B looks more like a caveman instead of a Viking and is weird in that the character wields a club, therefore it is my last choice.
I like the hat from B and the cape from A
I prefer option C because to me it looks the most intriguing and enticing. Option B and A don't really resonate as much with me overall!
I think option C looks the most like a Viking since he has a hat that I associate most with Vikings. I think the others look more like cavemen and not Vikings which I think might look out of place in a Viking game
My top choice more looks like a viking thus I find this one more appealing to me.
Option C of the horned helmet is symbolic for vikings.
C was my favorite as it's easy to on the eyes. I didn't like A or B because it's difficult to differentiate the different color hairs of the beards with B being worst that A.
I like how much emotion is portrayed in option C.
I like option C the best because I love the hat and smile. He looks very friendly! I chose B as the second because I like the accessory, but he doesn't look nice. Option B came last because it looks overwhelming.
Option C was the most defined graphically: I could see the character clearly. A & B don't really look very fleshed out. The faces are just not that well defined.
The guy with his head in the middle here is nice along with the guy with his hands on his hips for A
I like the style of this guy. In C.. He looks more viking styled. He has the hat and the look of a warrior fighter. I think this one would be best for the game.
I understand the horns are not historically accurate, but C is the best choice for a Viking because that's how people commonly see them. The furry cape on A would be the next most representative.
C makes me laugh, i'd pick C
C looks like it would be more fun to have to play with on a game
Option B looks too much like a barbarian, where C and A are more in line with what I expect vikings to look like. Option C just has more personality than A, though, making C endearing.
i like the strong smiley guy and the strong man
I think this looks the most like people's idea of a Viking.
The Viking horns are distinct. You can tell he is a Viking. The second pick Option A would be the guy with the big fur cape. He looks like a Viking but less than Option C because he doesn't have the distinct Viking Horn Cap. Option B doesn't look like a viking at all.
I like C for a Viking themed mobile strategy game. His facial expressions make me want to know more about him. He seems fierce and yet kind . That is the kind of characters I like to interact with when playing games. I don't like B because you can hardly make out his face. A looks endearing also but I especially like C.
Option C is the only one that looks like a viking to me
I think all of them are nice, but option C is cool and adorable. Option A is nice but a little more generic and option B is a little more fearsome.
I find the facial expression of the viking in Option C humorous and the most distinct. Option A's viking character is last because everything seems to blend in together too much.
I like C the best because it looks the strongest. Than A because he looks friendly and than B the last because he looks more like a caveman than a viking.
Viking C looks the most like what I would expect a powerful stereotypical Viking to look like while still being pretty cool looking and something that I would be interested in checking out. Whereas B has kind of a weird weapon in hand that may be a club but I don't personally enjoy looking at, and A looks a bit to boring with no facial expression. That's why I ranked them this way.
