Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 58 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
B | 49% 49 votes | 58% 58 votes +9 |
A | 39% 39 votes | 42% 42 votes +3 |
C | 12% 12 votes | Eliminated 12 votes reassigned |
A is the most important, and B is second most important. C is a little lower level.
i wanna know why it's a good product and what it does more than anything
All three aspects are very important to me when reviewing an Amazon product description, but the most important is that the description clearly explains what the product does and how it will benefit me.
what it does and how it works are the most vital things. i don't care as much about the others
I always want to see a good explanation of something I'm buying
Definitely want to have information on the product and why it is I should spend my money on it. I want to have value for my money spent, so I want to know what I'll get from it. Of course, it helps if it's formatted properly and the title helps me find what I'm looking for, but the rundown of the benefits is crucial in a product listing, otherwise, I'll look elsewhere.
The benefits of any product at the most important to every consumer and help me make a purchasing decision.
The titles are typically over description and has to much information that I just skip it and go straight to the explanation.
Most important to me is an explanation of the benefits, then easy to read, lastly is the title which is not really important to me.
Being able to understand what the product does and easily know if I need it or not is most important.
A because the benefits are the most appropriate when trying to make an informed decision.
Option A of product description is important to know what I am getting.
When I look at a description the benefits should be the first and clearest thing for me, right next to exactly what is and isnt included
If the product doesn't benefit me I won't read any further. If the description is dense and hard to parse, I won't absorb as much information.
While the format is always important, the content is more important. So Option C is my choice.
The most important thing is getting off the product information. The format is not very important
Option A is the most important because you want to know what the benefits are right away when looking at a product. Having easy to read text with proper formatting is also a good thing to have as well to make it easier to understand the benefits of the product.
The first thing I look at is what the product actually does and why it's helpful. Next is bullet points and proper formatting, because if that is messed up I assume they don't pay attention to details and their product will be lower quality. Last I look at the title of the description.
i would like to know more of the product
An explanation of the product is really important to me.
I need to see why the product would benefit me first to see if it's something worth buying. It also needs to be easy to read, otherwise I'll just go to something else.
I feel explaining the benefits and features of the product is paramount. It is the first thing I look for on the page.
Telling me what a product is all about is definitely the first thing I look for in an description
The benefits are the most important to me. How will the product benefit me. I choose A.
Choice A is the one that is most important to me because I like to be able to know what the product has to offer me and what it will be able to do for me. I want to know all about the benefits that the product has to offer in-depth as that is the reason why I am buying it. Choice B is second because having everything be easy to read and formatted nicely shows that the seller put effort into the page and making sure that everything is nice, professional and readable. Choice C is last because the title was just less important to me compared to the other two choices.
An explanation of the product benefits is the key thing that I look for first since it will explain why I need the product.
I like it when companies provide a detailed explanation about the purpose of the product, and the benefits. A is my first pick. Option B is my next pick, I appreciate it when the text is spaced out and not crammed together. I don't care about the title of the description at all, as long as it is well worded. C is my last pick.
The description and what the product does is most important. While the title and formatting is good, that is great. I think that is a good choice to look at the product benefits as the reason first. Most important choice here.
A description of the product is most important.A buyer wants to know everything about the product they are trying to purchase. The more facts about the product, the better off they are.It will make a faithful and loyal customer in the long term
It is important to know what the product does and what the specifications are. I need as much info as possible to inform my choice.
I like to know the details and product information.
The title isn't too important in and of itself, but I get suspicious if people try to cram too many keywords in.
I want to know exactly what the product can do.
I need to know how the product is used before considering the purchasr
For me "An explanation of the product benefits" is the most important feature, so option A got rank 1. Next goes "Easy to read text with proper formatting (bullet points, white space, etc.)", so option B got rank 2. Finally "The title of the description" is not so important for me, option C got rank 3.
I would always love to know the benefits attached to a product I'm about to purchase. Even if I was unwilling to buy, reading the benefits could easily convince me.
I voted for A, because I am very interested in an explanation of how the product can benefit me.
It really is about the product. Sure, easy to read, is a plus, but it's still all about the product. The description also doesn't need to be novella length. Cover the main features, but the description really doesn't need to be a 2000 word essay.
I just want a clear description of the product and thats enough for me.
i like it being short and sweet. i like when the description is short and to the point
A well formatted description is very important to me so I can read through the list in a hurry.
The most important thing is that the information looks neat and easy to read. The features are more important to me than what the title is called.
This is the most important aspect to me when looking at a product on Amazon.
Of these things I think that Option B about the formatting is the first step. It needs to be neat and clear and readable. If it's a mess it doesn't matter how good it is.
i like to read bulletpoints and get my information
I think that B is the most important. if it is a mess to read then it is not even worth my time to read it. That is why I said that the formatting is the most important
The most instant turnoff to a product is if it's title is full of mistakes or looks weird or different in any way. I want a clean and simple item title. Tell me what it is and let me look more into it from there.
All of these are pretty important, but I'd say B ranks first. Information should be easy to find and very detailed first of all. Anything not on there should be assumed to not be part of the item or its benefits - anything less is asking for trouble. So great care should be taken to maintain clarity and depth of information, especially since I'd be comparing against other products at the same time. A product not formatted and sold professionally doesn't give me high hopes for its actual quality.
I chose option B first because I feel that a page layout is the most important part of a product page. My second choice was option A. Because I enjoy products that have good details and uses listed. Lastly I chose option C, mainly because the title of a product doesn't really determine my willingness to purchase it or read about it.
The title isn't usually that informative to me. I appreciate when the product's key features are clearly laid out in a way that is intuitive and makes sense.
There is nothing worse than having information that is difficult to read or understand. Having it easy to read is extremely important. I would think that the description is more important than the title so that is second
B is very important to me. I hate seeing listings where there are tons of caps and run on sentences and just way too busy text. I also like A i want the details, how it's important to me, and why I should purchase it. Option C i don't really need the title of the description.
I like to be able to easily scan the description and bullet points help.
Titles have gotten so long and descriptive that it's easier to just ignore them and go to the description itself. A description with organized, formatted and easy to read information looks professional and trustworthy to me, making me more likely to buy the item.
I like things to be easy to read and to not have to dig to find the information I need about the product.
When looking at an Amazon product description, having easy to read text with proper formatting is most important to me because if the text looks hard to read or has improper formatting then I am much less likely to read the product description at all. Obviously the explanation of the product benefits is important, but without proper formatting and easy to read text, it is unlikely that I would even read the product description in the first place.
If there is too much clutter I won't spend the time reading the details and will just move on to another product. The title does not catch my attention - the image is more important so I ranked title last.
Being able to actually read and see the description because of proper formatting makes it much easier and gives me more confidence in the quality of the product.
Option B is definitely the most important. I like my information to be clear and concise.
B is key, I really need to be able to get the concept of the product in a few quick glances, I'd rather spend more time reading the reviews. Option C is just a little less important because if there is too much in the title it makes me suspicious. Item A is not as important in detail.
If the product formatting looks better, it makes me more confident in the product.
Option B it is the most important to me. I need to know the specifications of the product so it can be compared to others. Option C comes second because a good title can be helpful too and option A may be important to some people but not completely necessary
I prefer to get something that is easy to digest in a readily accessible fashion. Some listings are clearly low-effort translations that could well be what you want, but induce a headache when reading them. I like to be able to differentiate the fluff from the important information, and organization and good formatting help that along, and make me more likely to click your listing if it's clear you put some time and effort into it.
I want things to be easy to read that way I get to comprehend what it is that they are trying to tell me. Then I can choose if what they say is something that I want.
I like it when the description is very organized and informative. That way I can get a good idea what it is about with a quick glance. I do not want to be bogged down reading a description.
I typically know what I am looking for and what I want so I prefer an easy to read, concise explanation of the prodcut.
Easy to read text is the most important to me im more of a stats person
If I cannot read the text, I will not buy the product. I have to understand the information. It is for sure the most important thing in a listing hands down.
Made my choices based on what is important to me when it comes to reading/looking at an Amazon product description. The one in B is the one that is most important to me since it helps me know about the product such as what it is for, benefits, specs etc
The title engages me first, but the description is what keeps me interested or not.
The formatting of the text is very important to me because I want to be able to easily and quickly understand the information.
An easy to read product description makes it easier to understand everything about the product
I like Option B as long as the information is laid out nicely, I can quickly navigate to find what I need to know.
The description being easy to read is incredibly important. If it isn't easy to read then I would think that it likely has lower quality than other products or that the seller isn't very good.
B is the most important to me because I can't focus on unorganized and difficult to read text. I'll just skip it.
I like many people do not have the time to spend looking at information in all different places. Straight to the point is what people want and then the price.
Easy to read descriptions that are clean to read here, it is easier to pick up info on clean to read text
I love bullet points because it reads quicker than a long paragraph which I will often avoid.
I liked detailed information and easy top read things, so I know all I need to know.
I rank the options in the order of importance to me when looking at Amazon product descriptions.
I chose (B) because when I am shopping online I want to be able to read the text, and understand the product that is being offered to me.
I think the biggest reason I avoid a product is poor formatting and grammar
B- It doesn't matter what the product is, if the listing is hard to read visually, I won't go any further. A - This goes without saying. I need an explanation in proper, easy to read English that makes sense grammatically. If this is missing or inadequate, I have very little trust in the seller. C - I'm not sure what this is saying, "the title of the description". All listings have titles?
I don't really completely read through the descriptions, unless I'm looking for an explanation for one specific feature. I usually just skim the bullet points and then move one to the more important factor to check for me: Reviews and Questions about the product from other users. The dialogue there is more helpful and natural to me.
Choice B because you want to be able to go through all the product details and info easily without having to bumble through the page. Next would be the explanation of the product and lastly the title. The title is mostly used to catch your attention but doesn't give you the whole picture.
Easy to read writing with no spelling mistakes is a much bigger deal. Otherwise it makes me feel like I'm getting it from China and from somebody who can't put the effort into spelling it correctly.
I really like when things are laid out and I can easily read the descriptions. Having bullet points and proper spacing helps a lot with that.
A lot of listings are full of so much jargon and stuff that's been run through Google translate... I just want listings that look "normal".
It depends what I'm buying as there are many different categories of products where one of these might be more important than the other. But, to initially get my impression, the description/title is going to be most important.
The title is what is going to draw my attention first, and then a the quick reference
C first because I always read the quick title first. Then A because I want easy to read details and not a lengthy description.
I ranked what I look at first when it comes to product description. I initially notice the title of the description followed by the font and style of the description and then finally the explanation of the product benefits.
The first thing that is going to stand out to me is the title and that's the most important part
The title is most important because it quickly tells me whether I'm looking at something promising or I should move on. Next most important is the layout, because if the formatting is bad I might just move on to avoid struggling to find out what I'm searching for.
C is the most important when doing an initial search.
I look at the title of the description in the search results first as that is the first thing I see. Then I prefer easy to read text with formatting as I do not enjoy seeing typos and long winded paragraphs. I ranked explanation of product benefits last, as I prefer to read user reviews and photos over the company listed benefits.
Honestly all of these things are equally important to me in deciding which products to purchase.
always title first, it draws you in
I chose option C first because the title is the first thing that I look at on a product description on Amazon. I chose option A second because an explanation of product benefits is essential to the product listing. I chose option B last because easy to read text is nice but not necessary.
The title is what would capture my attention, if the title is clear and direct I would be able to get a good idea about the product. Option B is also important, a well design layout that is easy to understand is appreciated, being able to easily find the information you are looking for is an advantage. Option A is important, but if I am looking at the post I am already interested in the product and might know about the product's benefits, my other two options would be more useful.
