There was no majority winner of this Ranked poll after 3 rounds of vote counting. However, Option A and Option B had the most votes (25).
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
A | 32% 16 votes | 36% 18 votes +2 | 50% 25 votes +7 |
B | 40% 20 votes | 42% 21 votes +1 | 50% 25 votes +4 |
C | 16% 8 votes | 22% 11 votes +3 | Eliminated 11 votes reassigned |
D | 12% 6 votes | Eliminated 6 votes reassigned |
I like how these book titles sound the most between the choices
This is the only option that fits the feeling of the main character.
I like option A first because it's interesting to think about a bigger dog than Clifford. I chose option C second because a dog engine sounds interesting. I didn't like B and D much because they sound generic.
This has a bit more of a whimsical and fun sounding title to it overall.
A is the cutest and funniest. C makes no sense. D is okay, B is a little wordy.
Seems to be the most descriptive and offering the most detail of the book which stands out to me as the best read
I like that option A is using the original name but just tweaking it slightly which plays nicely into most people's familiarity with the product.
I prefer option A because I think that it is the most fun, interesting, and appealing book title out of the four options.
A is the best if it's about the same big red dog as the original book. The others mainly seem like they're about something new that is referencing the original (aside from B, possibly).
I like title A the best because it's familiar and a play on the original title. I also like title D because I think it's important for kids to learn how to relax.
I feel like children would like the longer titles of A and B compared to simple boring like C and D
B has a super long title, C is kind of boring. A and D are tied in my opinion
The even bigger redder dog is a funny case for a big red dog sequel and would appeal to kids the most in choice A
Between the four different options, I first decided to go with option A as my absolute favorite and that was because I thought that it was a very interesting play on words and that this book could be looked at as possibly the sequel of an earlier book. If so, I thought that it was smart to not necessarily just say that it was part two, but to allude to the fact that this was a continuation of the previous adventure. With option b as my second choice, I thought that this was very interesting because it sounded like based on the title of the book that the reader was able to perhaps read different tales and adventures and then put the book down and then when coming back to the book was able to then read a different adventure. I really liked how the book was split into different parts. My third favorite option was option d because it made me laugh and it sounded a little bit humorous. If the title is to be taken literally, I thought that it would be a very good book for children to read who might be on the nervous sides of life and maybe need a little bit of relaxation. Perhaps some adults could even benefit from reading the book as well, but it was also a little bit humorous because of the idea of a talking dog. Finally, I decided to go with option c as my final choice and that is because the title was a little bit confusing to me. Perhaps I was looking far too into the title itself and what it was supposed to mean, but I was a little bit taken back by it because I was trying to figure out exactly what a dog engine was and this was something that was a little bit distracting to me and therefore, was my least favorite choice.
A is the most fitting, but still fairly concise, sounds intriguing and fun, makes sense.
a sounded the best when i said them out loud
I would want the book title to have adventure in it and keep the reader wondering.
B seems like it is part of a greater series of movies which is intriguing
Option B may be long, but more clear connection to the "Clifford the Big red Dog" franchise
i think a longer title makes the book more interesting especially if it's adventure themed.
I ranked these in the most attention grabbing titles
Option B is the only one that sounds like a good title. the other options are very poorly worded.
B and A are self explanatory to what the book is: Clifford the big red dog. D is odd and C makes no sense at all.
I CHOSE OPTION B BECAUSE IT SOUND MUCH MORE EXCITING THAN THE REST OF THEM. I WAN TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE ALWAYS AND ITS IN THE TITLE.
choices b & a i felt fell in line with the more classic titles
I would prefer option B because Clifford's Adventures 3: More Fun Tales of the Big Red Dog sounds more fun , this book tital has fun, adventure and dog what could be lacking ? i think it has all the key words to lure you into reading this book .
I think B has the most descriptive title here. When I read that, I know exactly what I'm going to get out of the book. I put A next because I think it's the best out of the three remaining options, but it definitely comes after B because "the Even Bigger, Redder Dog" almost makes it sound like this is an off brand ripoff of Clifford the Dog. As for D being third, "Clifford Says Relax" is a decent enough title, but it almost sound like Clifford the Dog is condescending to me there, which I don't think is what you were going for. And C is last because it makes no sense as a title. "Clifford the Dog Engine" makes it sound like a crossover between Clifford the Dog and Transformers which, again, I don't think is what you were probably going for.
Sounds more like the classic styles. Clifford says relax is just to aggressive
B seems like a typical kid's book title. A is generic but alright. D is a bit demanding. C "the dog engine" doesn't make any sense.
I like the vagueness of the title in Option B, it leaves a lot to the imagination. Option C is an interesting title and seems pretty self evident and entertaining. Option B doesn't really sound very interesting. I don't know how Option D will really work for the intended audience.
C doesn't read well. Kids won't understand the reference made in D, or young parents. A is bland. B seems to be the most kid friendly, which is what is most important.
i prefer the title in option B because it evokes feelings of nostalgia for the books
The title here is very whimsical and fun. I like that it is a continuation of the series. We all know Clifford the Big Red Dog. So reading more about his epic adventures is appealing.
I think indicating the book is about the same dog Clifford we all know is important.
B tells me that there were more stories before it and would not only make me buy this but search for others.
"Clifford's Adventures 3: More Fun Tales of the Big Red Dog" is perfect. Man, I loved Clifford, when I was a kid. I miss the big red doggo.
I like the title in option C the best. The title sounds the most interesting and makes me wonder why is Clifford being called the dog engine for this story.
C sounds kind of amusing and i think it would fit with the genre, B sounds pretty good as well and makes me think its part of a series and i think it fits the overall tone as well, D is kind of simple looking and doesn't really stand out that much, A just kind of sounds weird in lazy as far as titles go in my opinion
It is arranged in order of originality and interest.
B is incredibly bland. D brings to mind (for parents, anyway) Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and that's not an association you want for a kids book. C and A are both fine; C is somewhat more creative and clever and thus would be my first choice.
I think the shorter and more concise titles are more appealing.
Since this is probably geared towards children, I think option C is a good title for kids to read and understand.
This title sounds fun and cute. It’s also simple and easy to read. The other 3 options sound a bit strange to me.
I think option C is best, I think Clifford the Dog Engine is a bit of an odd title, but it makes me curious about the book.
Short is good, especially when the readers/listeners are children
Option D seems like the only option that is simple enough to be accepted immediately by a child and the other options simply sound strange in context.
D has a simple title that is positiveB makes one feel excited about reading further Clifford storiesA is a good title, short but also makes one feel nostalgic for Clifford storiesC is too brief and makes me think of another character (Thomas the Tank Engine) rather than Clifford
The title is short and sweet
They're all a bit derivative but D is a more clever reference than the others, I think.
I prefer the option D book title because I like the active voice used here by saying relax the most. I chose options C and A second and third because Clifford the Dog Engine sounds cooler and more exciting than Clifford being even bigger than before. I chose option B last because this is a rather generic book title for the new adventures of Clifford.
