If you were searching the App Store for strategy games, which icon would be most appealing, and why?
Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 9 votes after 1 round of vote counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.

A was really amusing, looks like a psychotic Hulk Hogan. That would get my interest. All of them are good, but A was the best of the lot.
I liked choice A since the character is very excited and is highly detailed with the spit coming from their mouth which also fit the background the best.
I think I'd be most drawn to Option A. The character is expression is just so dynamic and intense! He looks really determined and ready for battle, which definitely fits the vibe of a strategy game. The other two are bit more goofy, but this one feels like its is got some real energy. Plus, the wat this mouth is open and the teeth are showing, it just grabs your attention. It makes me think the game is going to be exciting and action- packed, which is exactly what I'd be looking for in a strategy game.

I prefer choice B because not only do I like the facial expression more, but I also like the background color in choice B as well.
Honestly I dont find any of these options appealing because I find the abundance of spit gross and offputting. Option b would be first though because at least the spit is contained to his mouth and face.
I think the drool on the character's mouth is the least gross and obvious in B compared to A or C.

The less spit the better in my eyes, So the less noticeable one is best.
I like how the spit is spewing from his mouth in this one.
I like C the most because it looks like he's shouting. In A and B he looks like he's drooling
I ranked them in the order that I found them least disgusting, I really didn't like the saliva in all the images.
Because he looks angry, like hes in the middle of some action.
This illustration of drool feels the most realistic.
Most energetic. Doesn't look like drool when you are screaming.
I like the look of this one. it's mean and tough looking so I would think it was a good character to have.
yelling character for the app icon is most appealing for these types of strategy games.
