Not particularly, because I care more about price, quality and durability among other things than a tagline.
I memorable business tagline can stand out more if it more quickly communicates what the brand or service can do for me than the brand name alone.
It does a little bit if the tagline or jingle gets stuck in your head but in a good way not in an annoying way stuck in your head
Yes taglines stand out and get associated in jingles or ads that people remember
Not when I'm shopping. I don't think of the brands or the taglines. They do stick in my head and definitely have become a fabric of society, but it doesn't impact my when shoppping.
You should focus more on having a feasible business plan rather than wasting time coming up with a tagline, wait until people have actually heard of the company and then create one.
Yes, because creativity matters to me and it shows me that a company is really trying. Also, slogans/taglines tend to make companies more popular if they catch on.
For me a tagline isn't so important. I look at a brand itself, not in the words.
Yes, usually. Especially if they have a catchy tune with it like the McDonalds one.
Yes, a memorable tagline stands out to me more. It's something that I can remember instantly and reminds me of the business.
A tagine does not matter to me, what matters more is a company that doesnt buy into woke culture. What matters to me is if a brand has made it clear they do not support the values of my family like Nike, Bud lite, Target, Hersheys, Kate Spade etc
I do believe taglines and influential. They get stuck in your head. Although some of them are irrelevant, certain ones do stick with you and may impact purchasing decisions. Jingles also seem very influential.
Well unless the product itself is amazing and warrants attention or if you just have a huge market share, taglines don't matter. Make a great product or get huge
The taglines don’t matter to me at all. I only care about the products and whether or not the products suit me.i don’t get influenced by taglines or brand name
I think that taglines probably help me to remember brands, and then I tend to notice those brands when I actually do my shopping. Other than that, if I am already either looking on shelves or online, I would focus more on the specific aspects of the product itself rather than the tagline, so I don't think the slogan helps me if I am hearing or seeing it for the first time, immediately before making a purchase.
It can be helpful to remember a key brand - its a way to get the brand to stick in your mind - but it can take a lot of repetition to make it stick.
Yes it does stand out bc I'll think about the tagline randomly which makes me want the product more
Those expressions become synonymous with the brand. Every time I say "just do it" for any reason, Nike pops into my head. I think they can also get engrained into our brains with jingles, like the "I'm lovin it" tagline; "do do do doohh I'm lovin it". I think it probably has a lot to do with the marketing initiative behind it.
Yes, a tagline is always helpful to make sure customers are thinking of the brand often even in their subconsciousness.
tag lines help make a brand memorable so it is good to have . I think a good brand has a good tag line.
A brand with a memorable tagline stands out to me more than a brand without one because it helps communicate what the brand is about in only a few words, especially if the slogan is set to music or paired with a memorable image.
Taglines are not influential in terms of choosing where to shop, but they definitely make me remember a brand more compared to if they do not have a slogan.
I think that "Just Do It" is the most powerful one that I have ever heard. I live my life through accountability. I think that this statement falls in line with my goals.
Totally. As I look at paper towels, the Bounty tag lines sticks out more that I would go with these paper towels. Taglines make a difference for sure. Been working in advertising 15+ yeasr
A brand that helps me remember is Wendys as they give me a better taste of the food.
The tagline stick in my head like a catchy song. It causes me to randomly think of the brand, making me more likely to crave buying it.
I prefer brands without taglines. Brands that have taglines make me feel like they are using it to make up for an inferior product.
They absolutely stand out more. I find myself repeating catchy taglines a lot. Other things in life will remind me of them. It helps a brand be more memorable to me in general.
Yes it does stand out when it has a tagline. It is easier to remember the brand and visualize it more.
I think Nike is extremely well known around the world as is McDonald's. For me, the most commonplace marketing ads are those that deal with food and bringing people together over a brand with shared experiences.
Taglines don't matter to me as long as I enjoy the product.
I do think taglines help customers remember the brand, especially now when commercials/ads are not as popular as the were. I remember when K-Mart, the Gap, Orbit gum, and Old Navy had really catchy commericals and taglines from the 90’s 2000’s, but cannot remember any taglines from any popular companies today.
Personally a creative or terrible tagline won't effect my purchasing habits. I think my priority is the quality and the price of the product instead of a tagline.
I definitely remember plenty of taglines from the past. Just a mention of a few words and I can quote the entire line.
Yes. Absolutely. I feel the jingle makes a brand the most memorable When I come across a product that had a memorable jingle that tune will play in my head automatically, even when I do not want it to. Usually these tunes are a pleasant memory and I will "sing along" in my head. Most times it will make me smile. Also, a catchy slogan makes a product stand out.
I would prefer a slogan because it is more memorable and it has longevity more than a tagline where it's kind of gimmicky.
I think something short to the point, that kind of rhymes and matches your product is the way to go. It doesn't hurt to have and you can always drop it. What I would do is create a mascot. Burger King got a king. Wendy's got a girl. That helps people remember a brand far more.
Taglines are nice, but I'm more concerned about product quality and price when making a purchase decision
Tagline are an important tool of advertising. A good tagline can help you bring an instant picture in your mind of the product. The trick is people must have positive emotions go with it.
a tag line can make an impression of some sort. however, i recently viewed a podcast and the host pretty much said that words are meaningless. that resonated with me to a certain degree. when making a buying decision, i would much rather concentrate on the words that will outline features and benefits. so i guess i say all that to say to hell with catchy phrases and tag lines.
A brand that has just one memorable tagline resonates with me because I usually end up hearing it a lot to where it is embedded in my mind.
For the most part, no. Yes, I remember tag lines, but they don't make me want to purchase something. For instance, I don't like McDonald's, regardless of the tagline, so I don't buy their food. I do like Nike, so I buy their products. I know both of their tag lines. Their tag lines have nothing to do with my purchasing decisions.
Not any more. The advent of online shopping has eroded that sense of brand recognition. Often I will buy items from Amazon without recognizing the brand at all.
The one that has a tagline will always stand out to me. It helps you remember something and I think they are great to have.
A tagline helps it be more memorable and allows the brand to stand out more.
Taglines aren't something I think about when I buy things. They do not stand out to me at all.
A tagline absolutely stands out more than without one. I can still recall taglines from 55 years ago ("Winston takes good like a cigarette should.")
Yes, a brand with a memorable tagline stands out more and makes me remember the brand and want to consider the brand more. The tagline also conveys something about the brand so it is additional information that helps me decide whether to go with the brand.
They only work if you spend tons and tons of money on marketing them and getting it out there. The taglines we remember are the products of mega adversting.
absolutely. A brand slogan that sticks in your head, something with a nice rhyme will make you remember that brand so much better.
