The reason for my selection was the fact that I felt that the image with the woman and child who were both wearing masks caught my attention as a product that strongly adheres to CDC guidelines. Option B was quite acceptable, but just not as attractive as the other image.

Definitely option B, it's simple, she is smiling, it shows the product. Option A looks like an overprotective helicopter mom forcing her child to stay safe.

B was chosen because of the quality of the image and the fact that the product was visual and seemed to be more highlight than in option A. Option B gave a clear visual of the product and included a more eyecatching background.

You can see the product better in B because it is closer up. I can barely see the product in A and if I didn't know before hand that the product was hand sanitizer, I wouldn't be able to tell just from looking at A, but I can from B.

I think I prefer the close view of the hands showing the hand sanitizer being used. It looks like a better picture than the other image because I get a sense that someone is actually using this product. I also can see more detail and I'm not distracted with the other aspects of the picture.

The person in the picture is doing something that feels normal (eating out), yet trying to stay safe. It also helps that we can see her smile and she looks happy. In A, everyone is wearing masks, so we can't see if they're happy, and things don't feel as normal and relaxed.
