Option D won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 17 votes after 3 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|---|
D | 40% 12 votes | 43.33% 13 votes +1 | 56.67% 17 votes +4 |
B | 43.33% 13 votes | 43.33% 13 votes | 43.33% 13 votes |
A | 13.33% 4 votes | 13.33% 4 votes | Eliminated 4 votes reassigned |
C | 3.33% 1 votes | Eliminated 1 vote reassigned |
Option A is the cutest and easiest to remember, so that is the name I would choose.
I prefer option A because I think that it is the most interesting and memorable domain name for a cat veterinarian out of the four options above. To be honest, there is not really an option that I really love. I guess I just think that "dr cat" is kind of interesting and humorous.
A and D are net and com which are normal website domains. B and C being vet is a bit weird.
A, D first because the names are the most descriptive and easy to understandB second because the name is straightforwardC last because the name is a bit too confusing to understand. Which makes this the least appealing
I ranked in the order that I am likely to remember the website name.
B is the simplest and easiest to remember and also wouldn't be hard to remember in an emergency.
It is short and sweet. I know what it is.
This one is the easiest to remember and rolls off of the tongue nicely
B is my top pick because it resonates most with me as a kitty owner. I am drawn to the simplicity of the domain name. I prefer a name that is not complex and to the point! I hope that is explanatory enough!
B is best easy to rememberD is second best easy to remember maybe? People will forget the - so pick B as best one to use.A no it has a - and .net people will not remember it allC terrible the words don't ryhme as as to recall and .life people will not remember it.Try a .com name as best and avoid - in it.
.net sounds like it's from the 90's so that's why I put it last. Option B is by far my favorite. cat.vet is straight to the point, easily describes what you'll find there and is also easy to remember. I honestly think Choice B is the only one out of these four that should be considered. The other ones are too convoluted, especially when compared against cat.vet
If it's one vet, then #B. If there's more than one, then #D. #A immediately made me think that the cat is the Dr. "Cat Doc" as in #C is more intuitive.
I think cat.vet is the best. Having the .vet instead of .com makes me think it's pretty official, like .gov.
cat.vet is a short name that seems like a trusted domain for such a service that is easy to rememeber
Cat.vet is far and away the easiest to remember, and also has the least amount of characters to type out.
I picked B first because it's easy to remember.
Short and concise domain names are easier to remember.
Option C is the best option because it has the word "doc" in it, this connects with the service more than the other options and the other options are bland.
I like the directness of cat vets. It says what it is - vets that take care of cats.
The word 'Cat' rhymes with 'vet' and D has full name so ranked D first and B second, 'dr.cat' sounds more fun so ranked it third and C last.
Having a ".com" domain seems the most legit. I've never even heard of a "vet" domain. I would trust a .com over the others.
D is simple, short, memorable and easier to relate to. It is also standard and universal.
These just easy to remember and they make sense.
D is the best because both cats and vets are included in the domain name. C is the worst because the name doesn't remind me of cat veterinarian.
I think the .com name is the most trustworthy for me. The other domain endings dont seem as trustworthy and I'd be nervous clicking on them
I chose option D because I think it's the easiest to remember. The ".com" in the domain name is what I would expect to see. The other options would be more difficult to remember.
I think cat-vets.com is a really simple and easy to understand name. It sounds professional and trustworthy while also being memorable.
Conventional domain extentions like .com and .net still appear more trustworthy than any other extensions at the moment. This may change over time but you're more likely to appeal to the masses with a .com over something like .vet or .life. Option C seems more like a cat documentary than a cat veterinarian.
A cat veterinary doctor really needs a fancy but simple website. So I liked the catvets.com website name, since he is a cat expert. This name is memorable and very easy to write.
Option D is best, you don't get much more direct than cat-vets.com and that would be very easy to remember.
