Option B won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 26 votes after 6 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.

Options A, G and E are the best pieces of information for me because they are the ones that I would be most interested in having in my lettuce purchases when making a decision.
I like locally-grown produce - it's always fresher and easier to get. It's important to me to support our local growers. I don't mind washing my produce - do it as a matter of routine, so that's not too critical. And I like non-GMO.
A and C are the ones I care about the most in my opinion. Being locally grown is what I like to hear for freshness as well as no gmos on the lettuce as well
I care about helping the environment and local farmers first so those were my first picks.
I chose based on what information I wanted to obtain to make an informed decision.
First and foremost I want to know where it comes from, and what kind of chemicals were used in growing the produce
I enjoy locally grown produce to help support the community. The low environmental impact is also important since we are in dire situations with environment. I care about my health and so nutrient packed produce would be the next choice. Finally the other options are all more for convenience such as ease of use, no need for wash. I don't care for whether or not produce is GMO so it's the last option.
I like to shop for locally grown produce whenever possible. I also think it's good for any product to have a low environmental impact since I'm worried about climate change. And I look for nutrients as I'm committed to eating healthy. I'll wash or cook produce no matter what, so not having to wash doesn't really matter to me.
Honestly most of these are really nice perks and all of them aid me in my buying decision. However there were small increments of why I picked one option over the other besides option F which I didn't really care for. For me, option A is the most important and most enticing in what it said followed by what I listed. Like I said the difference between option A and option E actually wasn't a large difference but small things did it.
The fact that it is grown locally (Option A) means a lot to me as I would be looking to buy local when at all possible. I ranked Option D (No need to wash) second because washing can be an annoying part of the preparation process, especially when needing to dry it afterwards. My third piece of information that I felt was most important was the fact that it is always in Season (Option H) as that implies that it is going to be good.
I love locally grown produce. Its fresher and usually hasn't been on the shelf long. I like always in season also. I like the idea of less environmental impact and less travel time. Most lettuce is packed with vitamins and minerals. I feel like the majority of people still wash produce even if the package says it has been pre washed.
I prefer locally grown, high in nutrients and pesticide free. I dont believe all that non gmo stuff. I think it is just hype
Buying local produce and something that is pesticide-free are both very important to me. Low environmental impact is part of the appeal of locally-grown products. No need to wash is a time-saver, so that's a definite plus as well. The rest of the statements are kind of meaningless - I think they are more dependent on the type of crop than how it's grown, who sells it, etc.
I like the titles, and made sure there was some variety in some of the answers I gave as they are all good as far as I know.
A, B, C discuss the organic nature which is pivotal to know due to health risks. H, G, F and discuss freshness and flavor which make it appealing. D and E discuss convenience.
Locally grown is the most appealing to me, To me that says it is fresh and I'm helping my neighbors by buying it. Second, I like the idea of it being safe from the get-go and don't even need to wash it. An additional plus would be the low impact, I like that they use less water.
I'm not too concerned with GMO-VERIFIED status. I'd much rather prefer fresh lettuce that is free of pesticides (first and foremost), followed by the environmental impact and product availability. The remaining pieces of information are less of a concern to me as a potential consumer.
I like that the lettuce is pesticide free/ organically grown. Some of those pesticides are extremely harmful. I also think it's important to eat something that is carbon neutral aka. low environmental impact. Even though GMOs have not been proven to be detrimental, it's still best to avoid it when we can in case of any ramifications down the line. The taste is important and locally grown produce is a good way to support farmers close to home. Nutrition is important to make sure that food is healthy. No need to wash sounds kind of strange, you should always wash your produce. Season shouldn't matter.
I really like it when the produce does not have added things or is safe to eat. I also like supporting local businesses. The others are not that important.
My choices are from best to worst on my opinion how my lettuce should be.
I think the statements that speak directly to being pesticide free, non-GMO and less impactful on the environment are the most resonant in the descriptions of the lettuce and farm. The pesticide free was my top choice due to the importance of maintaining a balance in how we farm. The fact that they are grown without chemicals is by far the most important consideration for me. Being sustainably and locally sourced is also important and those ideals rank ahead of the more generic 'delicious' and 'no need to wash' marketing tag lines that aren't 'proof' of investment or caring.
I really like the idea of no pesticides used because they are grown indoors. You can never be sure how much of the pesticides are still in anything that you use. This is a good start. I also like locally grown. We want to help out our local farmers as much as possible. Most of the rest aren't very memorable.
I find these aspects to be most important
Don't push the GMO bull. Come on now. Is making money really more important than an honest? Have some standards
Non GMO, locally grown and pesticide free are my first choices. Everything else is just fluff to me.
the big things for me would be the healthiness and the way in which the lettuce was grown. i would want to make sure that it was healthy for me and my family to eat.
I would always prefer vegetables that are free from chemicals and pesticides. Hence option C,B as the first choices. I would want my vegetables to have lower environmental impact and be fresh in quality. I would always watch my vegetables, hence the last option is D.
I choose C and B first because quality assurance is the top priority. Consumer needs to make sure the food is safe.I choose E as third place because protecting environment and saving water resources are important after safety.I choose G and H as fourth and fifth place because they are valuable, but not as important as the first two reasons.I choose D and F last because those are the things I can do when cooking dishes.
i like it very much
I do not like goof that are GMO modified that's why my first choice is Option C. My second choice is Option G because I am health-conscious. My third choice is Option D, It will save me time if I do not need to wash it.
looking good and nice explanations about natures environment
no need to wash, filled with nutrients and non gmo verified are the most important features for me. i don't care much if it's "delicious" or "always in season"
Frankly, What I care about most is if the food is safe to eat. If I can eat it without having to do much to the product it would be more likely for me to buy it. Secondly, it has to actually taste good. I don't care if it has GMO's or where it was grown as long as its safe and good.
D is my top pick because at times it's not convenient to wash, but so good to eat!
Not needing to wash is a big selling point. I am very lazy so that takes priority over the other things mentioned
I chose D as my first choice because I really dislike that a lot of lettuce packages have many bugs. If a package of lettuce would be cleaner that would be my top priority since I check all my lettuce for bugs and dirt before preparing it in a dish. A clean pack of lettuce would therefore save me time. After that, flavor is important to me. I don't like bitter lettuce or lettuce that tastes like dirt. Then because I care about my environmental impact, I chose E as the next most important aspect in lettuce choice. Pesticide use goes hand in hand with environmental impact, so I chose that next. I think most lettuce is nutritious by default, but if it could be more nutritious that is a bonus - so that's why option G is next. My issue with choice F is that I already get that from option H, and I don't think option F is really saying anything substantive. As much as I like to support local business, I never would believe that a lettuce package I saw at a grocery store was locally grown. I would have to buy it from a local community garden in that case. Either way, I usually don't have much access to locally grown produce and I prefer a one stop shop at the grocery store. GMOs are important in solving world hunger so making foods without GMOs is kind of conspiratorial, unnecessary, and fear-mongering in my view, so that's why that option is last.
i think washing is the most annoying thing with veggies
The three pieces of info that are most useful to me are how clean it is, how it was grown, and the quality of the lettuce. That's why reading that it wouldn't need to be washed is most attractive, since I can remove it from the packaging and use it right away when cooking for convenience. Not using pesticides is also important since we don't really know if there's any long-term cumulative effects from chemicals used on food. Lastly, the non-GMO verified lettuce would be more attractive because again, we don't know the long-term effects on the body of foods that aren't grown naturally.
to be honest, i dont think of any of these things when i buy lettuce :)
First choice is E less water and localSecond choice is A because it helps the local community Locally grownThird choice B No pesticide-free Fourth choice G More vitamins and minerals with fiberFifth choice is H Year round availabilitySixth choice is F just the word butter make it a low choice for me.Last choice is D I will always wash the lettuce regardless.
The most important thing is that it should taste good!
The first three are really a toss-up. I want something that I know is going to taste good, but also something that I know to be safe and easy to prepare. I do try to buy locally grown, so that is always a factor. There is rest were honestly picked by what caught my eye the most.
So let me go from the bottom first, I hate negatives, even if they are intended to be positive. I hate negatives about competitors which is what you are doing, even if it's on the down low with the last 4. The first four are good but the top choice is great. I really like number one.
looking good and nice one it was really good one
I need to get nutrient rich foods in my diet. No need to wash is a labor saver. Always in season may be a decent price year round. The rest I chose as how I think the buzzwords are in trend now.
I care about eating healthy, and like products that are sustainable. I do not care much about locally grown, other than lower transport times, and I actually prefer GMO foods
Qualities such as naturally grown and locally grown are important to me. Taste is important, however I find little variation in the taste of lettuce. Always in season is not important because I will buy from whatever is in season.
G and F are most important. Nutrition and taste are the factor that I consider most, by far. D and H were my least favorite. I'm going to wash them anyway and if its always in season, it means its shipped from overseas and will be of lower quality. The rest are good and help, but are not deal-breakers
made my choices based on which pieces of information best aids me in my purchase decision of fresh lettuce.
Knowing that it has more vitamins, minerals, fiber, and more nutrients is really appealing to me and it would definitely aid my purchasing decision.
