Option C won this Ranked poll with a final tally of 16 votes after 2 rounds of votes counting.
In a Ranked poll, respondents rank every option in order of preference. For example, when you test 6 options, each respondent orders their choices from first to sixth place.
PickFu requires a majority to win a Ranked poll. A majority winner differs from a plurality winner. A majority winner earns over 50% of the votes, whereas a plurality winner earns the most votes, regardless of winning percentage.
If an option does not earn a majority of votes, PickFu eliminates the option with the lowest number of votes. The votes from the eliminated option are reassigned based on each respondent’s next choice. This process continues in rounds until a majority winner emerges.
Scores reflect the percentage of total votes an option receives during the vote counting and indicate the relative preference of the respondents. If there is no majority winner, look to the scores to see how the options fared relative to one another.
Option | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
C | 36.67% 11 votes | 53.33% 16 votes +5 |
B | 40% 12 votes | 46.67% 14 votes +2 |
A | 23.33% 7 votes | Eliminated 7 votes reassigned |
I think the name in option A is really cute, so that is the one I would use for a veterniarian.
I like Dr. Cat because it is extremely simple, effective, and it makes me trust the business more as well.
i prefer the name in option A because it sounds catchy and professional
A is the best because the name is cute and straight-forward. B is the worst because the name isn't specific to cats.
This is a great name, but also a simple one.
I really like "Dr. Cat" shown in option A because it's simple and very easy for people to remember. I also really like "City Kitty Care" shown in option C as a close second choice.
A is so cute and funny. B seems like a nice family owned vet. C is kind of cool too.
This sounds more professional.
The name is kind of generic, but what I would expect to see when looking for vets. The other two are a little too cartoony.
city kitty care feels like a mouthful when said out loud. Dorris animal hospital sounds more professional
A veternarian is a serious professional and people take their pet's health seriously. So the profesional name is preferred. Citty Kitty Care is acceptable if people are familiar with the business and overlook the formality. Dr. Cat as a business name makes no sense and no one has ever name a serious animal health business this way because it's really a name for a person.
I ranked option B #1 because its sound the most legit and serious. I ranked C #2 because the name is fun to say. I ranked option A #3 because it sounds like a joke.
I think choice B is the most professional name, and that choice C is the more 'fun' name. If it were me personally professionalism would be more important to me so I chose B
I thought option b was the best sounding name and option c was the worst.
My top choice is the only one that sounds professional in my opinion. The other two do not entice me to want to use their services.
I like the normal, usual name of Dorris Animal Hospital cause the other ones don't sound as professional.
I chose Dorris Animal Hospital because it tells me the clinic has greater services than typical vet clinics. By putting the term "hospital" in its name, it tells the customer it provides types of surgeries and other care that many clinics don't provide.
B is the best name very exclusive it covers the name of the business and the services provided.
Option B is the more professional name and I can take it more serious.
I like the awesome rhyme of city kitty care, wonderful.
The emphasis on specialization in cats is better.
This name is SUPER cute and fun to say and very catchy
C's name I feel is able to stand out and draw my interest to it the most for a veterinary clinic.
I like either C or A, because I like vet clinics that have a clever or humorous twist in the name. It shows me more care towards the pets, and it makes it more welcoming.
C is relatable, easy to understand and memorable. It sounds better too because of the rhyming words.
I picked option C because I like how the first two word rhyme.
This would be a great name for a cat veterinarian. Some of my favorite people. It has a great ring to it.
I think Dr. Cat is just too simple, so it's my least favorite. A "fun" name needs to be more creative than that. I don't mind the straightforward, serious name of Option B. Dorris Animal Hospital is respectable and gives me confidence that the veterinarian takes their work seriously. However, my favorite is City Kitty Care. It's fun and welcoming without being too silly or undermining the perceived reputability of the vet. It's also fun and easy to say.
I prefer option C because I think that it is the most interesting and memorable name for a cat veterinarian out of the three options above. It does not sound as distinguished or as trustworthy as option B, but I think that it is trustworthy enough for me to try their services.
C has a nice rhyme to it.
