Im feeling confident
I am feeling 1, very bad. I am a Democrat. Even if Biden wins I will still feel bad because he didn't win by enough. This shows how there are sooooo many racists (Trump voters) in our country still.
Very good. Trump should win!
I'm feeling calmer. I'm more confident in who will win the election. I'm glad that I won't have to pay as much attention to all of this anymore.
3, I feel worried that Joe Biden will not win and anxious for the election results.
I feel 3. Biden is going to win, that much is assured, but it is so close that it makes me weep for the state of America. Not to mention the republicans hold the senate.
I am numb and just ready for it to be over. I think that a lot of people are feeling the tension today. Something feels weird about this election
3 i feel the same as yesterday but a little curious who is gonna win as it is not clear cut just yet..and a bit more worried tonight if a winner is announced how the public will react
I feel about a four. I feel pretty good, but not my best. I was up very late last night watching the results, so I am a bit tired. I would like to know the results of the election and am a bit anxious about that. But I am not letting it control my day.
I feel good, like a 4. Biden is pulling ahead and many of the lead in PA is being narrowed due to the counting of philadelphia ballots.
It feels like any other day. Looks like Biden will win after absentee/mail votes, but not by a large enough margin to have a mandate and will not be able to pass anything through the senate. I am feeling very deflated that ranked choice voting lost on my state's ballot and that Prop 22 passed in California, continuing this country's labor crisis.
I feel like a 3. I am very anxious not knowing who our next president will be. This is a major event that always makes me nervous since I know what politics stand for in our daily life.
2. I'm pretty concerned that Biden may eek out a victory, which I think will be very bad for the rest of us.
I feel at a 3. I don't like that its still going on and we don't know yet.
I feel like a 2, bad. The winner of the election is still too soon to call as many votes in key states will determine the election. The difference is razor thin for Biden. Even if Biden wins, the margin is much smaller than predicted and Republicans will still control the Senate.
I feel bad because i dont want biden to get elected because he'll fuck up the country and we'll be back to wearing masks and being stuck at home. i dont want to go on any depression meds if im stuck at home with my kids 24/7.
2. I am disappointed that it was not a landslide and sad that so much of the country can still support such a corrupt, bigoted, incompetent president, but I still have some hope that Joe can pull it out. Senate race has been disappointing too.
I feel about 3 because I'm surprised that the race was at close as it was and I don't know who has won yet. I don't think it matters either way because both are accusing each other of being corrupt.
I'm freaking out because my candidate of choice is losing ground. I feel nauseous.
4, I still feel very good about Donal Trump's chance to win. I think this was a devastating loss for the Dems.
I am feeling a little bit anxious not knowing the election results yet. I also feel somewhat guilty for having an opinion at all because I was not able to vote. I am feeling like I want to just avoid talking to people about it altogether.
I feel at a 1 because no matter who wins it is bad for the american people. The process of picking a leader and those selected get worse and worse. It doesn't feel like a choice so much as picking the one you hate the least. I feel sick inside.
I feel very anxious and stressed. I didn't sleep well last night because I was thinking about what kind of news I would be waking up to this morning. I'd say I'm about 2 on the scale, definitely feeling pretty bad about all of this! Time seems to go very slow until we get official results, so I'm expecting many stressful days to come.
I'm concerned others will overreact, no matter who wins and will riot. I'm scarred people will be injured or killed due to racial tension and political difference.
I feel a 3 right now. Biden was losing going into the night, but mail in ballots are starting to be counted in states he was losing so I feel a bit better. The race is still not over yet, as counting the rest of the ballots will take a while.
On a scale of 1-5 I am a 3. Nothing has really been resolved. We still don't know the result of the election so I'm not really sure how to feel. It could still be days or weeks until we know how things turned out. Right now I feel empty and a little bit hopeful.
2. I am very nervous about what the outcome will be. I've been checking the vote counts all day long, and it's bothering me how slowly they are being updated. I am also scared about how the losing side will react after the winner is announced. After all the protests we have had this year, this might be another big one.
1 - very bad. The Republicans will definitely hold the Senate and refuse to pass the stimulus that Americans need to recover from this recession, just like they did following the Great Recession. I suspect that, without government stimulus, the economy will be very poor over the next several years, unemployment will remain high, and millions of Americans will slip into poverty from which they will struggle to escape.
4. I feel normal an fine. My day/life/mood are not dictated by the election. And then the election itself isn't going to be figured out for some time yet, which was entirely expected. So no need to over think it.
I feel a level of 1, maybe 1.5. The election is far too close for comfort and is very eye opening to how many people in this country think very differently than I do, and how many are willing to sacrifice lives and liberty in order for their "team" to win, how many people make uninformed and uneducated decisions, and who are easy prey to propaganda and lies.
I feel a 2 right now pretty bad because I'm still nervous about the outcome of the election. Both of the candidates are pretty much so close to eachother regarding the votes counting so either one could still win. It has definitely made me anxious just waiting for the results.
Not very happy about such a close race, anxious for a good majority for my candidate.
I would say a 3. The election is close but as of now my favored candidate is in the lead. I still feel anxious because the election results have not been called yet and I want to know who wins. I am not at a 1 or a 5 at this point because we do not, for better or worse, have a result. I feel the same way about the congressional races.
5- I try to look at the positive side of things. Trump definitely still has a chance. If Biden wins, I have to wonder who everyone will direct their hate towards 6 months from now? If the US is to have any future then I honestly hope that Trump ends up victorious!
I feel a 4, Im very indifferent about it I just cant wait until its over so I can use the internet and look at the news or anything without having to ehar about it. Its so old to me
I feel between a 2-3. There is still so much uncertainty. I'm not sure that I trust the election process. I've stopped refreshing the news since it does not appear that we will have any updates for awhile.
3. Polls for Biden look encouraging, but Trump's remarks last night about the election being finished are a huge cause for conern.
1, I feel as though this election is fraudulent and will go to the courts to be decided
At noon today, the day after Election Day, I feel a 3 on a 5-point scale regarding the election. I am somewhat hopeful that Donald Trump, who I voted for yesterday, will win the election. However, polls showed Biden with an 8 point lead in days leading up to the election, so I'm not feeling as good as I would if Trump showed a lead prior to the election. Also, I'm not 100% confident that all votes will be counted.
I feel about a 2, very nervous about the outcome, a lot of unknown.
A solid 4. Nothing is official, but everything looks good with some margin of error. Just hope this election doesn't get bogged down in the courts. More voted against Trump than for Biden.
Feeling pretty goddamn nervous about everything
2 I feel like something fishy is going on
I'm at a 3. I hope Biden will win and it looks like he probably will, but I'm sad that so many people voted for Trump's racism, sexism, xenophobia, dishonesty, and embrace of right wing extremism. It's a sad day in that respect.
I feel pretty anxious. Though I am not tied to either candidate. It's just riveting to watch. So I would say a 3 right now just waiting around for votes to be counted. I think it'll be contested no matter which side is declared the winner. That's another thing that will keep people up.
1. I hate one possible outcome and dislike the other. The system is broken and the majority of people in this country are too brainwashed, or stupid, to address the real problems
I feel like there is alot going on especially when it comes to things that don't make sense, definitely too much fraud and silencing when it comes to that which is sad at this point because we deserve a good life
4. It's really hard to determine how I feel right now. the whole concept of the election has me really upset and irked right now.
I would say it is a 3 currently, it is not bad but not great. I am anxious of the results for the day. As long as Biden holds onto the victory I will be happy with the results.
1. I never really felt good about it in the first place. I don't like either of the people running again. Never anyone from the 3rd party worth a damn. I keep looking. We either get Trump or Biden... and that scares me. I want a good leader, a great leader, but neither of them seem great. Biden under Obama wasn't fantastic. Trump... well... you see how it's going.
3, I am not comfortable with everything being up in the air. I worry about people trying to steal the election by finding "votes" suddenly
I feel somewhat nervous as the results are still being tallied about a 2
I am feeling a 2 -- bad -- right now as vote totals this morning are making it clear that President Trump won't shock the world for the second time in a row and that Joe Biden has an easy path to get to 270 electoral votes when Wisconsin and Michigan vote totals become official.
I feel like i have a pretty average (3) feel about it. I think i am pretty anxious as i am so used to instant results in this day and age, that waiting for something as large as this is nerve wracking.
1 - I feel very bad because this seems a repeat of 2016. Dem candidate very strong in polls disappoints. If Trump get re-elected there is a very good chance that I will leave the country. I can't stay somewhere where science and rationality are ignored and derided. And if the general populace actually VOTES to continue in this manner, it's beyond depressing.
4 - optimistic about a Trump win
I'm anxious, and excited. I've been up since 4am watching the polls, and discussing the events with friends and family. Every little change gives me anxiety. Arizona is a great example, it's been a republican dominate state for over 20 years, and now Biden is leading with 51%. This has been the most exciting presidential election since Barack Obama was elected back in 2008.
1. I am nervous about the election and I fear for the country. Trump has put our country back decades and needs to be removed from office.
I am feeling anxious about the results but I am hopeful that Biden will be the winner.
1, very bad. I hate the USA. I hate what this country has become and the "values" people seem to care most about. It is sad and pathetic and I am terrified for the future of the country. I do not know what to do. EVERYTHING is awful.
I feel good. Im hoping for another four year with our president Trump
3 I would say. I wish there was a clear winner earlier but I am glad all the mail in votes are being counted as they should be.
4 I feel very excited still. And I'm still very hopeful
2. The Democrats are being sleazy in Detroit and Milwaukee, but then again we all knew they would cheat.
I feel very bad. The election results are still too close to call, but Trump is already claiming victory and is suggesting he wants to throw out a ton of votes because he thinks the election is being stolen from him
1 I feel very bad because democrats are trying to cheat to get Joe Biden in office
I feel indifferent. I mean just because someone gets elected does not mean that they will be able or willing to do what they set out to do. I'm more curious what legislation they will be pushing in the near-future, whoever it is
I feel really good about this year's Election Day from my own personal standpoint. I was proud to be able to vote and voice my opinion and select my candidates. I feel that this is my right, my duty and my privilege to be able to vote. I think the voting system and regulations and workers have been outstanding in their efforts to accomodate all individuals during this year of a major pandemic.
1, very bad. I think there is a lot of cheating going on. California has 40 million people and already counted their ballots but Pennsylvania needs another whole day?
2 because it's very close. The mail-in votes still have to be counted and I'm wondering when we'll know the final results. I personally think we should get rid of the Electoral College. I think the President should be chosen by popular vote. Its very unfair that someone couldn't win because of the Electoral College even though they won the popular vote.
Still a bit anxious. Waiting on the results which hopefully will be somewhat clear soon.
I feel good, looking at the result and progress so far, it feels a little nervous but I'm patiently waiting for the results and hoping that my party wins!
I feel like a "2" or close to very bad. I do not understand why the counting of the ballots did not continue until finished and why chaos was introduced into an already stressful time for the country. The counting in PA, MI, WI, GA, AZ, and NV should have continued until completed. Also, having Twitter shut down conservative voices is troubling and dangerous, especially when there are reports that there were ballots being dumped in states where the margins were tight. We need to keep transparency so we do not put more stress into this chaotic time.
I would be at a 3. I am frustrated. I really hoped we would have definite results by now. I knew this was a possibility but I guess I was naive in my thinking and hopes. I still try to remain positive. And, I have hopes our country will flourish eventually.
I am worried about everything going on. I'm feeling slightly better than I was last night but my anxiety is still active. There's a lot going on and while it looks good, who knows what the next few weeks will bring? I just want the peace of mind to know we're going to survive this as a nation and I'm not going to be targeted for my liberal beliefs in my primarily red area.
2 I feel unsure about the outcome so I'm worried.
2. Worried that it's not going to end How I want it to.
I feel 1 because I just want the election to be over and the results to be made public. I don't like all the open ended questions that the election has right now.
it is more curiosity about the results and continuous watching the tv for the results
I rate myself a 3 because I am optimistically hopeful. The election feels it could go either way and I am hopeful the voters of America chose what is best for America and not socialism and terrorism. The country has been divided for quite some time but it was happening long before Trump took office and instigated by Obama and pushing liberal ideas and rioting in cities.
2. It appears the popular vote is going to biden, much like the Hillary campaign, but Trump will win the electorial. And I dont get why Florida is red when the 5 major hubs...Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Orlando, Tampa, Palm Beach, and Miami are all blue.
4. If things fall the way they look like they will, Trump will be defeated. It will mean that I won't be as afraid of people anymore.
I feel worried anout the outcome of the election. The present result shows Biden is winning and I'm a Trump supporter. I'm worried the result outcome won't favor my party and the aftermath of the result could be violent.
I feel pretty okay, I didn't follow the results last night, and I am kind of astounded at how poorly the results were compared to the polls, once again. I think that this means that polls are horrendous. Anyways, I think Biden will win, so I will say a 3.
4. I am worried both sides will claim fraud and all this will have to start over
2I wanted Trump to win.
3, i pretty much expected this to happen. I know it'll only get worse if Biden wins, Trump will find a way to con him out of it
I'm a 3 at the moment on that scale. I feel confident that Biden should manage to squeak by with a win but at the same time I am still nervous about the final result. At the moment if the current projections hold with Biden winning NV, WI, MI, Maine's 2nd and Trump winning GA, NC and PA it would be 271-267 Biden. That would make it the third closest race in Presidential history and really shows how divided the country is. It also does not make me feel great that Trump declared victory prematurely and is threating to stop votes from being counted. On the positive side he would not do that if their was a chance he could lose. So I am really just feeling in the middle feeling good about some aspects and bad about others.
2 - I am so disappointed that there wasn't a victory last night. I am worried about the state of our democracy and how it has been turned into a circus. We do not need more instability in our government.
3, I think Biden is slightly favored to win and I just hope he does. Very anxious.
3. Very unsure. The unknown and the potential drama to follow have me on edge.
5 I feel great. I haven't checked any news or social media.
3; I feel like there is still hope for a democratic victory but I am so, so disappointed in this country. I'm so stressed out and so upset that the race is as close as it is. I know many other people worldwide feel the same way.
4 - Very well.
1 i feel like a ton of voter fraud happened and i think trump should have won
1 - I am extremely anxious. I was disheartened and disgusted listening to President Trump's address last night ( Joe Biden gave a very classy address) and concerned that his language was a covert call to action of his most militant/violent supporters. I received an email from Trump's son today stating that the Democrats, the FAR LEFT, were stealing the election. It is a frightening time.
I would say a 3, it's still too up in the air to know one way or another how it's going. Some hope, but not enough to make me feel good, but not dread either.
3. right now I feel somewhat good because it looks like Biden is in the lead but I am not jumping to conclusions and overall I am disappointed in the result
3 - I am disappointed in trump for his behavior, and I am disappointed in Americans for supporting him as much as they have
On a scale I would choose: 3.I feel this way because whoever wins, I realize life will not personally change for me that much. I am a little concerned about the country, however.
