What’s new at PickFu this month? We’ve introduced a feature for quickly summarizing your poll results, launched a charitable giving campaign, and enabled WeChat Pay. And our dev team keeps growing!
Start Summary-izing
Get it in writing.
This is indispensable advice when you’re negotiating a job offer or buying a car.
It’s also good practice when you’re analyzing your PickFu poll results and need to get your thoughts out of your head and in front of your team.
Our new Summary feature helps you do just that.
Scroll down to the Summary text box under your poll results and type away. Use this space to summarize your results, add bullet points, suggest next steps — whatever’s useful for your team to know.
Anyone on your account can add notes, and you’ll be able to see the summary in your poll list view for quick reference.
Nonprofits and PickFu
PickFu is powered by people. The things we build, the decisions we make, and the way we communicate stem from our customers, survey respondents, and employees.
Our people-first approach doesn’t end when your poll does.
Today, we’re excited to unveil our charitable initiatives page. With that, we pledge to donate 1% of our profits to organizations who advocate, as we do, for mental health, continuous personal development, protection of the environment, diversity, and equal opportunity and access for all.
Our donations will go to these two nonprofits:
- Khan Academy offers online learning dashboards in areas ranging from math to entrepreneurship and other life skills in support of its mission to provide anyone anywhere with free, world-class education.
- National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the U.S. and a shaping force in public policy that supports the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
To further support 501(c)3 organizations like NAMI and Khan Academy so that they can make an even bigger impact on people’s lives, we offer nonprofits a discount of 50% on polls.
Visit our nonprofits page for all the details.
WeChat Pay is live
On the heels of launching PickFu in Chinese and Russian, we’ve set up WeChat Pay to help our global customers.
This Help Center article walks you through the payment process. Please note, it’s a little different than the usual QR code scanning method.
Follow our WeChat official account, PickFu, to get started and to stay in the loop on e-commerce news.
New to the FuCrew
And then there were two more. Meet our newest full-stack developers, George and Noor!
George Karagiannis lives and works in Greece. In addition to being software-savvy, George is a fitness buff, metalhead, and Stephen King fan. If PickFu started a band, he’d be our drummer. He just has to learn how to play (it’s on his bucket list).
Noor Ul Haq writes code from his home base in Pakistan. He drinks a lot of soda, which probably comes in handy for his main hobby, multiplayer video games. Noor hasn’t yet seen the final season of “Better Call Saul,” so shhh.
