Video: Kids’ shampoo brand hits ‘Refresh’ on its packaging by testing new designs

The project: rebranding Raising Junior, a kids’ bath product.

Raising Junior wanted to take its kids’ shampoo in a fresh direction: new label, logo, and packaging. With the help of Amazon brand strategist Daniela Bolzmann of Mindful Goods, the company got to work.

First, Raising Junior tested its current packaging against competing products to get feedback from parents. One takeaway: parents prefer a bottle with a pump top, which Raising Junior didn’t have.

Designing a new logo came next. After split testing various iterations, the company chose its winner.

In this video, the third in our four-part Rebrand series, Daniela shows how Raising Junior polished its label and packaging — now with a pump top! — to appeal to its core customers.
