i would be more likely to read Book A
I loooove option A!
makes more sense. Not sure what the Croc is suppose to mean in the other option.
B is too long.
I like the way it sounds.
I think that the Croc and a Hard Place joke is way too corny.
It sounds better, like there is a better flow of reading it out loud and saying it.
"croc & A hard place" is cheesy
Option A is simpler and doesn't add in extra info that is not really explained.
Both titles seem too long, but at least "A" didn't have a ridiculous pun in it. Unless this is a humorous book, keep the title straightforward.
More immediately obvious what it's about.
Though Option B is witty, I think it might be a little bit overdoing it. Option A is too the point.
less complicated and sounds better
Well, I like them both, but A is more serious, and B is more playful. It would depend on the Authors intended audience.
It sounds more appealing.
I don't like crocs
The first one just sounds better. And B reminds of the Croc shoes and I don't like them.
Around the world has a globetrotter appeal to it.
The other one sounds awful because Crocs makes me think of the gross shoe
Croc joke was lame
Sounds better,Option B sounded cheesey
Option B is corny
Given the two titles here, I think the more appealing one would have to be Option A and this is my carefully reasoned opinion as a publisher author myself.
This title immediately makes me realize exactly the magnitude of traveling this person has done. The other option doesn't really pull me in, and feels more like a joke.
Sounds more realistic.
Of the choices provided, I prefer Option A.
Better nam, bar none.
I didn't like the Croc part of the other title.
Puns are lazy writing.
I like the wording better for my taste. sounds catchier as well. plus the choice says one visits every country.
Option B sounds like its about traveling Australia mainly, whereas option A sounds more appropriate for a description of a trip to every country, which is impressive!
A is simpler and concise, get's straight to the point which is appealing.
More obvious and less corny. I'd be more likely to pick it up
This gives a little more of an idea about what the book includes
more simple
There weren't crocodiles everywhere he/she went or mountains/cliffs, so my personal opinion is that option A sounds better.
"Between a Croc and a Hard Place" does not make any sense
I don't really get the humor in the second one and the first was more informative.
It has a better appeal
Easily option A. Option b sounds very confusing
The other one sounds kind of stupid. This one sounds more "mature".
Gives readers the sense of exploring within the book
The other title sounds like something an old person would read.
I chose option A because it is easy to understand and it seems interesting.
Option B sounds corny.
It seems like it would be a fun adventure
this is straightforward
I like option A. Its sounds better.
I prefer the first title because I think it's more authentic and will lead to more of his targeted audience picking up the book.
The first title is more simple and to the point. Also I don't know what a croc is.
It is simpler and clearer.
Option B seems like an unnecessarily long title and I don't see how a Croc is relevant to it.
The second title just flows from the mouth smoother and sounds like a more interesting book. The first option sounds like the author is trying to hard.
Sounds more interesting
I would want to read it.
I don't think croc and a hard place in the title will go over
Seems like a more plausible title for such a book.
This topic is very interesting to me. I actually have a friend who is 85% towards this goal (150+ countries). First option more appealing because it is straightforward. If possible, email me author name of this book. Thanks.
It sounds more professional.
Hate bad puns in titles. Making option A an easy choice for me. Plus, option A rolls off the tongue better then B.
Option A's title is a lot more clear, and peeks my interest.
I prefer option A, because the title is much more descriptive of the contents of the book and the title flows much better than the awkward jokey title that is Option B.
Although I'm a big fan of wordplay, option A is a better title because it conjures a better image of what the book is likely about. "Croc and a Hard Place" made me think it was probably about Steve Irwin.
better sounding
It looks more concise and easier to understand
I like a because it catches my interest right away because I'm interested in travel and amazed at the time frame (50 years) it appears to have taken to visit every country.
Croc's are lame and make me think of my grandma
Option (B) was too cute, and "Croc" has echoes of "crock"
Better choice
I like the factual title much more than the gimmicky croc title.
catchier , first one sounds annoying to be honest
Option A is much easier to read and has a better flow to it.
It sounds more interesting to me
B sounds to crocodile dundee. I'm assuming there is more to the book than that sort of stuff
Better choice
the title sounds interesting and probably a better read.
It sounds like a better story.
Sounds more realistic then the alternative. Croc and a Hard Place sounds like it may just be a story or something made up.
I think "Around the World in 50 Years" is okay. Its reference to "Around the World in 80 Days" is clever. "Between a Croc and a Hard Place" is a TERRIBLE name. I apologize for the emphasis. It doesn't tell me what the book is about; it sounds like a punchline.
It is the most interesting.
I like it better
Sounds like an interesting read.
Option B is way too cheesy.
sounds more interesting
Option B sounds a little too silly
option b sounds childish
Simpler title.
While B is catchy, it is really long. I wanted to tune out before I knew what the book was about.
Option A explains better the kind of content of the book.
This title is more straightforward and grabs my attention.
I like around the world in 50 years better. It is the more straight forward title. The croc reference in the other title is confusing and makes me think of only certain areas instead of the whole world.
The first title looks shorter and therefore people will read the whole thing at a glance.
Option A would be more universally appealing in my opinion. Option B looks like it's trying way too hard to be clever and would be more likely to annoy me than pique my curiosity.
Makes more sense.
The first option brings something of a connection to Around the World in 80 Days, and makes it the more memorable one for me as a result.
I think that Option A would appeal to anyone in any country. Option B is quite funny, but I would be more likely to actually purchase Option A, as well.
Option A grabbed me more than B.
I think B is just a bit too far "out there", lol Not exactly sure how that is related to his travels. But I like A because it is more to the point, it is what it is :)
Title A is amusing (references a title about a race--50 years is opposite of a race); title B tries to be amusing, but isn't really.
more adventurous
I don't like the word croc in the sentence in B, it sounds weird
B sounds too much like it's a crocodile hunter journal. A represents more what the book would be about.
Option B is too much of a play on words. Sounds like an interesting book though
I like "Between a Croc and a Hard Place" a lot, but it becomes too wordy to get its idea across. "Around the World in 50 Years" is more straightforward.
This one is better
better
I don't understand the second title. simple is better
like the 50 years up front
less wordy
The punny one is not funny
Option A represents the true meaning of the book.
I like both, but this one gets right to the point.
more interesting

This title is more interesting.
B sounds more interesting.
I love it! Can't be improved on :)
It's a more interesting and eye-catching title. It also helps trigger some mental images for what the book might contain.
I like puns. I think it makes the book seem like it has personality. The other title is all business, which is off putting to me.
It's funnier
The title is comical
I like the pun better in option B than the stock title in option A.
The title is more attention grabbing.

funny!
It seems more interesting
Seem like a more exciting tittle.
Between a croc and a hard place is a catchy title, easy to remember.
It has a cool play on words (rock and a hard place) and it exudes adventure
I like the play on words. It makes the books seem more readable since the author is comical.
It sounds more entertaining the option A. The title is funny.
Only if the cover art was relevant to the title.
I like how this one is more playful. The second one sounds like every other book title ever written about the subject.
its funny
the pun and phrase is much more comical
It's just corny enough to be good.
It is more catchy and memorable.
Between a Croc and a Hard Place sounds more exciting
I enjoy the play on words
b is entertaining
Humorous, eye-catching
It's unique sounds like it might have interesting stories by a good storyteller.
I liked the pun, it was fun :D
B is slightly humorous which I think would lend to the appeal. If I had the option between two books that looked the same but had these different titles I would go with B.
option b sounds a lot more interesting, it really is an attention grabber name as opposed to the bland name choice A features.
It is more eye catching and begs the curious to continue looking at.
sounds better

I like the play on words, makes it more eye catching.
I liked B because it is more original and likely to jump out at me.
Sounds more interesting.
More clever

"Between a Croc and a Hard Place" is just much cooler precursor to the Adventure part
It's catchy and amusing. It makes me want to pick up the book and read it.
This one sounds more adventurous. Crocodile denotes a sense of danger and suspense. Seems more interesting to me.
Between a Croc and a Hard Place is more catchy.
Option B is a play on words that also makes you think of action. Option A sounds boring.
This one is very interesting, it would get me to pick the book up to check it out.
I like the cleverness of it.
Option A is a dead cliche, therefore i choose option B
It's the catchier title.
B sounds more adventurous.
The title is more appealing. "Between a Croc" is cute and catchy.
Choice B sounds like a funnier name and better.
The pun is cute.
I like the pun
Much more catchy. I would want to pick this up before the other
I feel the title is cute and funny and would want to look into it.
The illiteration at the beginning makes it more interesting
I think this title is more attention grabbing.
Seems funny to read.
I like the play on words in the second one, and it sounds more interesting.
There's more humor and interest in OPTION B. OPTION A seems very generic and dull.
it's catchier and much more interesting.
Like the pun--makes the book sound more fun and enticing than the other title, which doesn't have much personality.
Option B sounds more adventuresome. I'm wondering if "croc" stands for crocodile which would be fascinating!
Option B has a more interesting title.
catchy!
Option B immediately stands out first
i like the pun!
Option A sounds like a Social Studies text book, B on the other hand, sounds like something I would actually read.
Title B sounds much more interesting than Title A.
I like the way B sounds, its entertaining and eye catching!
A is too generic while B makes me want to know what happens with the crocodile. I would rather pick up B.
The title on B is better.
