A1. because im more interested in meeting new people and it sounds more welcoming
A2. I don't like the description using the word tribe -- it is an odd choice and doesn't seem appropriate or appealing.
A3. The title of the site is more catchy. Tribe isn't as relevant to me. Don't use that term often or hear it.
