A1. While I was formally a fan, I really dislike what Ebay has done with Paypal and their fee schedule in recent months. At least with the Credit Card companies, you can get someone to respond to complaints, while Ebay/Paypal tends to ignore you.

A4. I've had bad experiences with PayPal in the past, so I would never use them again. Also, credit cards have additional safegaurds under the law, including limitations on losses due to fraud.

A16. Although I like to use paypal for some transactions, I prefer to pay for online services with a credit card. My credit cards provide assurances if there are any problems with the goods or services. However, the bottom line is that I am a creature of habit and I've always used a credit card to pay for services. Old habits are hard to break.

A42. If I have a problem, I can go to the credit card company directly. If Paypal is involved, the credit card company may blame paypal, paypal would blame the credit card company and I would never get my issue resolved.
